Peacock with US VPN currently have Peacock Premium Ad supported version for 0.99c per month for a year with code SAVEBIG. That's about 82p per month.
That includes WWE and Premiership.
50% off annual subscription at the moment. Works out about £23.50 for the year.

We’ve had Austin with a comeback match and CM Punk returning (x2) recently but what moments or events do we still have that however shocking, surprising or unlikely could still take place?Â

Anyone got any recommendations for a decent budget sound bar? Want to get by dad one for his birthday. We recently got him Apple TV for Christmas so assume it will just link to that as the TV itself is relatively old now.

The Holdovers - No idea why this is getting a release in the arse end of January over here, but it’s a Christmas Classic already. Watched with my wife tonight (thanks Peacock) and it’s one of the best films of 2023. I’ll be shocked if we don’t see best actor, supporting actor and actress nominations come Oscar season. An absolute treat.
Got to agree, this is great and was in my top 10 of the year. So melancholy but in a nice way.Â

Happy New Year!
What’s does the 6937 stand for?

Odeon have 20% off Limitless at the moment. Been waiting for this to rejoin.Â

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you had a lovely day.
I got a new coffee machine and a Seasame Street jumper. Pretty uneventful but fun day with the family.

My daughter’s first tooth fell out tonight. She’s very excited that the tooth fairy and Father Christmas might meet.Â

I think they’re trying to pretend this isn’t the final Snyder cut so they can get a fake ‘Release the Snyder Cut’ thing going.

Is 5 too young to watch the original Star Wars? I feel like I watched it when I was around 7 and wasn’t completely traumatised.
She probably won’t be interested anyway.

Just announced.

Trailer for Ferrari made it look incredibly dull
Another one I saw at London Film Festival and it’s one of the worst films I’ve seen all year. Surprisingly the racing bits are some of the best things in it, but I have no interest in racing. Â

My Xbox Gamepass Ultimate expired a few days ago. Can anyone confirm what the cheapest way is to resubscribe?Â
I've seen a few bits about buying 12 or 24 months Gamepass Core, and then buying one month of Ultimate which apparently converts all of it to Ultimate?Â
Many thanks!Â
I did it that way before it changed to Gamepass Core and it was 1 year Gamepass for 1 year of Gold for up to 3 years. I think you can get 2 years of Gamepass Ultimate for 3 years of Gold now.Â

Is it movie length or just a short?
Movie length.Â

Was also going to say Poor Things was shown at LFF which you could buy a ticket for so technically released here. Probably my film of the year, it’s bonkers. Saying that my own magazine won’t include it as it isn’t officially released until January.
Everyone has their own opinion, but these lists are multiple opinions and usually gives you a good idea of what is worth watching from the year. Also the people reviewing it have probably watched it in a cinema as intended, not watched a pirated Russian version for their Letterboxd.

Some of my family are going Disney World Florida next year. Does anyone know anything I could possible get them for when they are there as a Christmas present?
Not sure if there’s anything like fast passes or anything else you can buy as a gift.

Is there a post specifically about Theme Parks/Disney world?

I hope Sting is The Devil.

In my top 3 Christmas songs, also top songs about Wombles.Â

Peacock (US) is currently $1.99 a month or $19.99 (£16) for a year. This includes WWE Network, so all the live PLE and also quite a few Premier League games and other sports. Loads of newly released TV and films too.
You'll need a VPN but I managed to sign up using my Monzo card and a random US Zip code.

Anyone got a robot vacuum that's any good? Considering getting one on Black Friday.

I actually thought Astroid City was pretty meh, but I loved The French Dispatch which seems to be a more controversial view. Generally though his films are great.
I'm the same, really enjoyed The French Dispatch compared to Asteroid City. You've got a lot of good stuff to get through @Jesse.

I'd have probably watched it but haven't bothered with any of the related TV shows so don't have a clue what's going on.
Nope
