  1. I accuse you over being a pompous, smug, overbearing piece of broken down shit. If you're not bragging about your amazing sporting prowess you're reminding everyone of how big the plasma TV's are in your many houses.. which is a nice slice of irony considering your "OTHER PEOPLE DO IT ON A GRANDER SCALE THO!" argument.

Awwww it's jealous. There is this ignore button you could use? Maybe if you was not such a useless shit stain, you could also get things you wanted,

I would rather be smug & overbearing then a cunt like you. I have no idea where you got broken down from tho..

Lets just leave it there before it goes back and forth all the time. You hate me because, I'm proud of what i have done and what i have, i hate you because your a cunt.

  2. Don't forget Deaq!

Or you for that matter  Thats funny coming from you tho. Your the master of the white noise with your 2 or 3 words posts that nobody responds to.

The irony of this being that you replied to one of those three word posts.

Yeah a 3 word post with my username in. Thing is the Paid members vote who get in this thing and the rest vote who win's. The only people who would vote for me to be in here are 1's who always read everything i post and reply to start a argument. Even if what they accuse me of doing they there self do all the time in a much grander scale. The people the you will expect to respond to this and now wont are the perfect example of what im talking about.

  3. I don't see how he remembered all of that though.

Like I said in the post, it wasn't word for word; but if you had a conversation like that, you would remember the nonsensical shite spewing out of its mouth,

I think we all agree, As long as she is as funny as that on a weekly basis and you post the convo here mate, Its worth not killing her yet.

  4. Thanks for the advice but i still kept dying all the time, have put it into an envelope and its going back to lovefilm tomorrow - only 1 rental left dammit :(

Could you use it for a film instead?

  5. The thing that annoys me is the over the shoulder camera angle that doesn't seem to be able to be changed.

THIS! I spent ages trying to mess with it. From what i have read it only does that when there is nothing going on. From the demo it seems to be Metal Gear Batman, with a grapple gun.

  6. I liked Indiana Jones 4 even though the ending was a bit shit. The rumours of there being a 5th film both excites and disappoints me. If a 5th one is made they need to move away from the entirely CGI settings and maybe go on location as I felt the authenticity of the settings in 4 looked a bit too much like a video game.

Sums up what i thought of Indy 4.

  7. One of the worst matches ever, and features the man who Vince McMahon wanted to groom to be his next Hulk Hogan.

    Tom Magee vs Hiroshi Wajima

Im surprised it got such a slating as i have saw much much worse. It would just be a case of not letting him do any kicks at all and when he trys to do a bear hug his opponent does not just randomly think he is doing a belly to belly so jumps to the side.

Apart from those and how short that match is i have seen much much worse, i could see WWF at that time trying to re-mould him him.

  8. I would search for this, but I can't actually remember any details of it :)

What was the name of the, I think, 12 - 13 year old kid who used to post on here a few years ago and was "going to book a show". He was quite adamant that he knew what he was doing and it was going to happen.

    Did anything actually happen?

Wasn't he called Jamie something or other?

The name Jamie Worthing rings a bell? That might be a legit promoter or anybody, but like i said that name seems to ring a bell.

  9. (Sonic 2): Classic platformer. I loved the first one also.. but this a) introduced the two player aspect, and b) introduced the ability to rev up a spin from standing instead of having to rely on your momentum all the time like in the first game

    Sonic CD anyone?

it came out after Sonic 2 did it not??

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, or simply Sonic 2, is a platform game developed by American studio Sega Technical Institute in collaboration with Sonic Team, and published by Sega for the Mega Drive/Genesis. It was released in Japan on November 21, 1992 and in North America and Europe three days later on November 24, 1992

Sonic the Hedgehog CD (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグCD, Sonikku za Hejjihoggu Shīdī?), or simply Sonic CD, is a platform game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It marked the first official appearance of both Metal Sonic and Amy Rose. It was released for the Sega Mega-CD in Japan on September 23, 1993, in Europe in October 1993, and finally for the Sega CD in North America on November 19, 1993. The game was ported to PC CD-ROM in 1996.

  10. I've been reading Counter X by Warren Ellis which was pretty good. Not brilliant but by no means offensive. Recently i've been re-reading my old comics and i love Punisher: Born. It is a true marvel of comic writing and beautifully drawn. Not your usual Punisher book but very compelling read.

I love Punisher born also the way he deals with the guy trying to shut his base down is amazing.

  11. MY only issue with Star Trek was not knowing what was going on during some times of panic/confusion/fights as the screen sometimes became so cluttered with CGI, people, smoke, fire, explosions etc. I understand this is needed to enhance the situation but sometimes it felt like ti was too much and i had difficulty understanding what the fuck was going on

In other words it went all Batman Begins.

  12. Well, yesterday we heard that Wolverine will be travelling to Japan, and hot on his heels today we hear that Deadpool is getting his own spin-off movie following the opening weekend success of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and with Empire's beloved Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as the Merc' with the Mouth.

This news is something that's been talked up as a possibility ever since Reynolds was cast in the first X-spinoff (and indeed even before that), and the $85 million opening weekend just proved that the demand may be there for a Deadpool movie.

WOLVERINE SPOILERS INEVITABLE IN NEXT TWO PARAGRAPHS

Now some of you who have seen Wolverine may have spotted a flaw in this plan. Yes, there's that bit at the end when Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, played by Reynolds, has been imbued with a whole heap of mutant powers, disfigured, had his mouth sewn up and then gets beheaded. Surely, one might wonder, that could be something of a hinderence to a long-running franchise. But don't be silly: this is not only the movies, it's comic-book movies, and therefore normal rules regarding the finality of death do not apply.

Hence one of those two Easter Egg endings showed Deadpool opening his eyes and not being dead after all. We're also assured that Deadpool will regain his ability to speak (also, presumably, to have a head) so that the whole "Merc with a Mouth" thing will still apply. So this all makes perfect sense.

    WOLVERINE SPOILERS END

While the comic-book character of Deadpool is disfigured and wears a mask over his face, expect the studio to Judge Dredd this one and lose the facial covering, the better to allow us to appreciate those fine Reynolds looks. That said, we can apparently expect the movie to go "back to the roots" of the character, who's known for his witticisms and the fact that he knows he's in a comic and often breaks the fourth wall, speaking directly to the audience. We're kinda hoping that "back to the roots" does not mean yet another comic-book origin story, but with the project only just sent out to writers, that's a question yet to be answered.

for all those that cried that there wasn't enough Reynolds :)

1 of the extra endings had Deadpool's body crawling to where his head is, just as it grabs the head the eyes open and Deadpool says "shhhhhh" to the audience. breaking the forth wall, where his mouth is covered is now ripped open allowing him to talk.

The other is Wade walking of to the body of Deadpool and he just says "who are you supposed to be?"

So im guessing they will use 1 as the start to the Deadpool film. Wolverine was very Meh, it was what i expecting in parts ok and parts just stupid. It reminded me of Spider-man 3.

The Magneto film is still a maybe also. There has been rumors of a Venom film?? How or Why i have no idea. But with Thor Ironman 2 and the Film version of Avengers coming soon aka 2010/2011 i dont thing there is much else coming out. Im sure Spider-man 4 has been confirmed for 2012 also.

  13. Following that, you enter an absolutely ridiculous and epic boss battle against The Joker that has to be one of the hardest opening stage endings ever. First you ride a rollercoaster in side-on 2D. The Joker is on another one alongside you and he throws bombs at you in a flurry at different heights to try and knock you off. At two points you go through a loop the loop, at which point you have to duck because there are these giant lollipop things that knock you off in one hit and cause INSTANT DEATH WITH NO WARNING. The Joker is still throwing bombs at you while this happens. Survive that and you get to a flat bit with more bombing. Then the speed cranks up and we cut to a mode 7 hurtling into the screen section where you and Joker are side by side on your rollercoasters. Joker is about three feet away from you, you're stood on a rollercoaster cart that's barely wider than your character and The Joker starts throwing more bombs at you as you try to hit them back with jump kicks whilst avoiding a fall onto the tracks which causes INSTANT DEATH. If a couple of bombs hit you, you'll most likely get knocked backwards, ultimately sliding onto the track and your INSTANT DEATH.

If you survive that bit, it then cuts back to 2D side-on and you have to jump from your coaster to the Joker's because your track ends all of a sudden. This bit isn't as hard as it appears, but failing it does of course lead to INSTANT DEATH. Should you board Joker's rollercoaster, you then fight him one on one, hand to hand in a confined space, which isn't too taxing but if you did it one sitting there's every chance you're on low health by now. Once you've fought him for a bit and given him a bit of a kicking, he bails and the stage is mercifully over.

Walk to the middle of the the rollercoaster duck and use low strikes. You dont get hit by no bombs at all and are under all the lights its simple doing it this way.

Stage 7 is Riddler's stage, and I pitied Whinehouse for having to slog through it. It's a big sprawling maze interspersed with teleporters and a couple of Riddles here and there. It seemed to take days to get through it. Also, key areas of the maze require plastic explosives to get through. There's no real indication of which ones can be blown up, and you only get five explosives. So it's a trial and error situation except you can't afford any errors.

Use the goggles and the walls you have to blow up are see threw when you put the goggles on them.

Just random but did you get the real ending or did you not do it on the hardiest setting?

If you think Batman on the Snes is hard keep well away from the Megadrive version which is much much harder.

  14. Hulk's Marvel mate.

But i always say Green Arrow is fantastic. One like Archers Quest is gripping. I don't really read much DC. From Hell by Alan Moore is a nice thick book and very dark. Problem is it's bloody expensive. V for Vendetta's very good. Hellblazer's Blood ties is thick and very good read, but it's not one story more of a follow on from Dangerous Habits.

That's probably not very helpful, sorry.

Yeah i know Hulks marvel guess it was bad wording on my part, i was looking for any good DC books that are non Batman and Superman as i have more then likely read them, Ill have a look for Archers Quest thanks, is Green Arrow as similar to Batman as he seems?

  15. Looking for a bit of help. I'm going on holiday for a few weeks and wanted a recommendation of a few Graphic novels the same sort of size of Watchmen that will last me a few days.
