  1. Very much so. He only debuted at Survivor Series in 92, won the Rumble, and was champion by Mania. It's almost like Flair's run.
  2. Do Benoit & Eddie Count as they both wrestled in title matches on what was ostensibly the last two matches on the card at Mania 20 (Yeah, they had that Undertake return in between, but that was more about the entrances), but were in the first two matches at Wrestlemania 21. Or how about Yokozuna? He wrestled two matches each for the WWF title at Wrestlemanias 9 and 10, then was tagging with Owen against the Smoking Gunns at 11.

    Gladiators

It's probably the schedule exacerbating thngs. I think it was taped over the space of a week or 10 days? They'll have probably taken a few months to film the originals, giving contenders and gladiators a decent bit of time to recover from any knocks they might have received. It does feel a bit daft that they've had to keep rolling out replacements. I've managed to have part of the final spoiled for me, and there may be some unhappy reactions. I had wondered why Fury wasn't in The Edge, but saw she was on Powerball instead. Barney isn't too bad, I think if he had somebody else to present alongside it might not be as bad. It's Bradley with those awful jokes. She was so unlucky in that Eliminator.
  4. I wonder whether they could persuade Nigel McGuinness over. What's Timothy Thatcher doing at the moment?
  5. Scholes isn't much better with his "Wishing you well in your recovery, boss". Owen Hargreaves at the end was so touching, and Sven shedding a tear as well. Really nice moment.
  6. I think I actually feel more stupid after watching that. Did he understand the brief? All the other messages were really heartfelt, then Owen's there as if he's doing a birthday greeting on Cameo.
  7. Starmer's is very much trying to court every vote he can. I've been saying for a while that I feel a Starmer's Labour government would be "less bad" as opposed to "better" if that makes any sense? I totally understand why he's doing what he's doing, but to be doing interviews with the S*n and all the "at least we're not the Tories" campaigning really isn't filling me with hope.
  8. I think that one's "Where's Wally Now?" which has Wally travelling through time. There's a lady on the Apprentice tonight by the name of Solitaire Townsend. Presumably at least one of her parents really enjoyed Live & Let Die.
  9. Oh yeah, sorry. Nottingham Forest and Notts County.
  10. Bendis is a good writer. I still have loads of Udon Street Fighter and IDWTransformers stuff in my Humble Library to read as well.
  11. Always reminds me of this one from Japan.
  12. She's got a great sense of humour, and her videos are pretty interesting as well. There was one I saw recently where she visited the 4 local derby match stadia which are closest together. I phrased that horribly. It was Fulham Vs Chelsea, Notts Forest Vs Notts County, Liverpool Vs Everton, and Dundee Vs Dundee United.
  13. I loved the first Authority run. Once Grant Morrison left it was just diminishing returns, though. I saw this month's comics bundle is an ass load of Spawn and other image comics for £15.77. There are 43 books there? It's pretty spanking good value.
  14. You live in Vietnam? I had no idea. You keep it so quiet.
  15. How is that lass still there who didn't even know where they were in the Budapest task? She just happens to end up on the winning team a lot, or she's got such an incredible business plan they're hotshotting her through the whole thing. I hope she makes it to the interviews just to watch her getting reduced to tears.
  16. It must just be a thing now, as when I saw Soulwax last month we were right down the front, and there were two women next to us just nattering.
  17. I remember a friend describing it as straddling that middle ground between Fable's accessibility, and Skyrim's depth, and I think that's a great description of it.
  18. I could probably list 10, but it'd take me forever to actually rank them in some kind of order.
  19. I think it has to be this, although Maximillian Dood losing his mind over Cloud being added to Smash Brothers is pretty darned good as well.

    Pride

I would like to think a lady would want to transition for more than just a sporting advantage. That's almost as bad a take as the sensationalist stuff about sex offenders in the tabloids. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but I'm pretty confident if it was to it'd grab ALL the headlines. Ironically, transmen rarely seem to get the same criticisms levelled at them. If anything should there not be a worry about whether they're safe in a men's toilet, in case something happens to them?
  21. I was watching an older episode of Would I Lie To You, and suspect she may have already turned up as a former Taskmaster contestant, but here's Maisie Adam.
  22. Why would I want to put Somewhere Only We Know by Keane (or Lily Allen's cover) on that playlist?
