Buying seven Karpackies when I finish work knowing full well I have work again the next morning. I keep telling myself I won't, but I always do.
Why 7? Very specific number.

Do you live really close to the surgery? When they get near the end of a batch they have been offering it to randoms to save putting doses in the bin.
Fairly close actually. That might be a good shout. I've already had mine through work so didn't need it but would happily of utilised it. I was speaking to a practice nurse a few weeks ago and she says often she had enough overage in a vial she can get an extra dose out so I wonder if its that as well.

I got a call from GP on Friday asking if I was free to pop in 30 minutes from now as they had a cancelled appt. No idea why they contacted me as I don't qualify in any manner as vulnerable etc weird call. My wife wondered if they just picked at random or CHI number as I know numerically I would one of the first people on the list.

Vanilla ice cream and salt and vinegar crisps is a snack of my wife's. She claimed it was purely a pregnancy craving but I've seen her at it a couple of times outwith as well. Dirty midden.

Bollocks I forgot to do this!

Finally managed towards the last session from today and it strikes how Archer has shown nothing with the bat in test cricket. He averages nearly 25 in first class cricket but I would consider putting him at 11. He seems uninterested in sticking around.

So is Root the best English player of spin ever? Or does he have to do more to prove that?
Gower and Trescothick are obviously greats at it, and I feel Root is better than both of them.
But is he better than Bell or Cook?
He is the best I've seen, admittedly my watching started in 2000/01.
Those saying it was boring, I found it to be a really enjoyable day. Mostly good test cricket although I will say Nadeem and Sundar didn't look fantastic. I know its hindsight etc but Kuldeep Yadav would surely be a better option?
I'm have no problems with players using the reverse sweep as a shot. Strikes me as when Root, Stokes and in the past Buttler used it that it was a high percentage shot. I did think the choice to use it at the point was daft by Burns mind.

Someone on Cricinfo just called one of England's openers "Dot Sibley" and I can't stop laughing.
Thats on point. How haven't I heard that before.

I remember thinking mid-late 90s Raven and Konnan were just the coolest. Raven seems like an absolute try hard dweeb now. Konnan is clearly a try hard as well but I still think its cool.
Other one I felt was cool was Eddie Guerrero, the slimy greasy heel who didn't care was cool as you like all the way through to when he sadly passed. Always maintained a coolness.

Yeah, Butcher, Cook and Strauss would be fine. I prefer Ebony Rainford Brent to Isa Guha but both would be fine with me.
I like them Rainford Brent and Guha, they both offer something different. Only when Guha dips her toe into Bumble territory do I worry.
Butcher is my favourite cricket analyst and I like Cook and Strauss although they are both quite dry at times.

I had been studying the form as well. Was certain of victory.

I signed up for crunchyroll today because my nephew wanted to watch the final feature length episode on an anime he'd been watching on the free one. Currently on my personal watch list I've stuck Case Closed because I started reading the Manga goodness knows how long ago, Ace Attorney because I like the games and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure because JoJo. The last Anime I watched was Samurai Champloo. I started Death Note, but had to return the portable hard drive I was watching it on. Is there any other interesting detective anime or manga on there worth a watch or read?
The immediate one that comes to mind is Pluto. Its very well known but as you didn't mention you've read it then I would certainly recommend checking it out. Its a muder mystery with robots as the suspects potential culprits. One of those that lives up to its reputation. A true masterpiece.

I can't suggest anything as under the radar as that Butch. Suprised how much I enjoyed that actually.
My first instinct would be Otani vs Guerrero Starrcade 95. Not talked about often but I love that match from the crisp drop kicks from Otani to the vicious looking brainbuster from Guerrero, just really solid stuff. I think it helps for me as it was my first introduction to one of my favourite ever wrestlers and the junior heavyweight style. When you consider it shares the card with Benoit vs Liger and blows it away thats a nice accomplishment.
It is a Starrcade match however so can only be so under the radar.
Another match I've always thought very fondly of is RVD vs Christian in a ladder match in a September 29th 2003 Raw. Nothing groundbreaking but solid fair and Christian seems to get RVD out his routine a little bit more than usual. RVD still felt like he had promise and the crowd fucking ate up his offense and win, also the splash from the top of the ladder isn't a spot you see in live TV every week. Very good raw match that never gets a shout for any of these best Raw match thingies. Only down side is the real star from E&C not getting his rightful 3 year title reign.

I've not dug into this at all as I've been working 60 hour weeks recently. A couple of days without having to look at covid vaccines has fallen nicely.
The main event is an absolute pick em for me edge towards Poirer as I he is the more rounded fighter and think he can take over in the last couple of rounds. 3/1 on a Poirer win seems huge to me. I've stuck a bit on him so will be even more in his camp.

Caught up with this morning play. Wood and particularly Broad really impressed me, Sri Lanka batted terribly.
I was pleased with the no nonsense accumulation by Root and Bairstow. Hopefully continue on in that manner and they don't convince themselves they need to accelerate.

They're not Key Workers, they're 'critical workers' which is the govts means to keep the country as open as possible even though they have said we're in a lockdown.
I was part of an operation for PPE delivery in Lockdown 1 and the roads were deserted, last week travelling bro Notts all week they were rammed. This isn't a lockdown in any way shape or form, neither was the second one.
I don't disagree with you and I'm sure they should in theory as employees take that stance. I was more trying to indicate what I see as a change in attitude if employers.
-
Also worth noting that more people are being told they are key workers than in the first lockdown. So on the outside it may seem that one of the parents shouldn't need to work and common sense may dictate that but they are being told otherwise.
For example my friend is an electrician and during the first lockdown he stayed at home. He is now being told he is a key worker. I put my hand up to not fully understanding what's different but the key thing is he is being told he has to go to work.

Genuine question, are you ever off this forum? Like ever? I read once a day and no matter what time, you’re dogshit avatar is always there. You might’ve convinced some posters that you’re a good bloke but you’re a sad sack piece of shit who even when proven wrong (like in this case) can’t admit it and instead gets on like a cock. Honestly do yourself a favour and log off for once.
I for one think garynysmon is a gem and enjoy all his posts. No idea why you've put him in your crosshair but there is absolutely no need.

Yes but if he didn't do that in Glasgow he would be subject to sectarian abuse every day for the rest of his life.

Ravens will be ok I think. Although I know they have a few guys out,I still think they can get the job done. Although a Ravens loss will be good for my Titans, who I have a bad feeling about. Bench Watson I say!
It could be Titans vs Ravens first round of the play offs. Hopefully a different result this time.
