  1. as well as the documentary tonight Gold are showing extended versions of Holy and Digger tomorrow night - Holy is the version on the dvd with the two scenes that aren't on the broadcast version, Digger has additional footage from the outtakes DVD that has apparently never been inserted(!) into the episode before.

  2. As the WWE network is playing silly buggers I took the opportunity to watch the new episode, that ending actually caused a sharp intake of breath.. it's always good to have the grannies back.

  3. It's the most wonderful time of the year! I much prefer this one to the one where you supposedly get an extra hour in bed, my body has been refusing to sleep beyond 5am for six months and the two year old gets up when he wants to so this is the one I like, get everyone back on my time for a few months.

  4. I didn't post that I saw the Lancashire Hotpots two weeks ago, it was as expected incredibly enjoyable, cracking bunch of lads.

Nothing lined up now until the Lovely Eggs who I haven't seen since pre lockdown so that'll be nice

I honestly think she's their biggest signing since Moxley.  With the possible exception of Edge but he's come in more as a "legend" than a full time wrestler seemingly.

Surely Punk was bigger? I know it ended badly but getting him back after such a long absence from the industry was huge and got lots of eyes on it, more than anyone else they've signed surely? Biggest ex WWE signing by a long way

Couldn't remember whether I have ever had one of these so decided to buy one.

I can rest assured that I've never had one before, and never will again.

Absolutely rank. Tastes like fizzy mouthwash! I thought maybe I'd eaten something before hand and it had altered the taste, or the drink was out of date, but the 11yo confirmed. It indeed tastes like fizzy mouthwash.

If you like this, you should be utterly ashamed of yourself. 0/10

I've only had Root Beer once, many many years ago with McDonald's used to do birthday parties and going there was a treat, the distant past - they bought out the drinks and everyone had ordered Coke but I was given this thing that looked like coke but tasted exactly like germolene. Everyone passed it round because nobody could believe how it tasted, everyday one of the staff confirmed what it was..Poison, that's what it was! I don't understand what those there Americans see in it. Never again.

  7. Skybet had the "money back as cash" again today (didn't show up for me on Wednesday or Thursday) I picked the third favourite and it won. So I'm a whopping 45 up from those, I had two other £1 jobs that lost but not bad. Now I'm in profit I'm tempted by the Gold Cup

Skybet are doing max bet £20 cash back if your horse loses in the first today, they usually do this for the first race every day at a big festival.

they only let me do £5 on it, but I picked Rachael so all good.

  9. I've no idea how long I've been posting here, I don't often post and had an account before I did, and visited daily long before that so I guessed. I'm not convinced my film or music questions were right but I don't get in trouble if they're not do I?

Should be interesting seeing the results

That's real isn't it Hazza, it's just that Charlotte has had so much work that she looks like she's from a game in real life.

There's cut scenes in the game with real footage in, when you achieve certain points in the match it cuts to real footage and finishes the section off, they blur referees faces and WWF logos so I'm not sure if that's what the image is from. I only know this as eldest got it yesterday and I went to speak to him at an opportune time

I’m a Seth Rollins Guy would be worse than that.

NOBODY would make that t-shirt! Even the grifters on redbubble, prowrestling shirts and etsy have some standards

Maybe I need more coffee but I cannot fathom this out at all.

I'm full of COVID but I think I get it, I think it's that looking back at the song 1985 now is a longer gap than it was looking back at 1985 from the time it was written. Right that's hurt my back I'm going back to bed.

  13. Yes it's a double post but me previous one was DAYS ago and this is important:

I have seen zero episodes! Clips and memes, but no episodes.

You're in for a treat then! I recommend starting at Season1 episode 1 then watching every single one in order, the way Bandit intended. There will soon be a time(if it isn't already so) that Bluey well be viewed amongst the greatest television shows of all time along with Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Prisoner Oz, Better Call Sal, Bottom, the Sopranos etc

Memes surely can't do Bluey justice.

In my last job a Manager called Ashley thought it would be hilarious to do the Huw, Puw Trumpton gag.  I have heard this a fair few times in my fifty years. Trust me on that.

As a reply I always called her 'Ah say Ashley lad" until she begged me to stop.

but none of them were called Huw, they were the Pugh twins. i hope you spat in her face every time she made the joke.

    What an incredibly UKFF headline.

Driver guilty of attacking gas man with chippy tea

The gas man! I don't even know what it is mate, what is a chippy tea?

  17. I had an eye test today along with my son, his test was free because he's at school but they did some extra scan which was supposed to be £10 and but covered the the nhs. I ended up having to pay almost £300 because I needed new glasses but when I paid there was no mention made of the £10 for his scan, it softened the £300 blow somewhat but I do worry that when I go to pick my new bins up they'll want that £10.

I don't know what Argylle is so I can only scrape together bits from posts on here. Am I right in thinking it's a spy movie about a cat that turns out to be a cat's dream?

It's sadly not happening in the cats imagination. A lot could be forgiven if it was, to the point that I was convinced it was his dream and could see that once the was to be revealed certain elements might make sense. But alas not.

  19. Argylle, a lot has been said about reasons it's dogshit but I've of the things that REALLY annoyed me about it was

    Spoiler

The use of the Beatles song that only came out in November. All the way through the film I was assuming that non of it was real (potentially all part of the cats imagination) because of how many plot holes and how ridiculous it was and this was only enforced by the use of that song, it's referred to as their song, it's part of the brainwashing process, it's a plot point but it wasn't out then! Everything else being ridiculous I could live with but not that, it it had all been in the cats imagination then I could have let it slide but no!

Terrible film. Brief silly sections that were kind of entertaining but dogshit

  20. Brother Wayne Kramer of the MC5 won't be kicking out any more jams

. Edit - sorry I hadn't seen it amongst the CW tributes

  21. I finally got to try the Wild Mushroom and Sour Cream Lays today, they're amazing. I know they've been mentioned here before but they really were a treat.
