  1. I read on Twitter (I know I know) the other day from Everton fans saying that if the title goes to the last day of the season and they are safe or relegated they want to lose 15-0 to Arsenal (who they play last game) to stick their fingers up to Liverpool and also the PremIer League (guessing because of the docked points).

Football is a funny old game.

  2. Love the Traitors and have seen the UK/US/Aussie/New Zealand versions.

If anyone wants something similar then its worth giving The Trust a go on Netflix, at first I thought it was a love island meets traitors with all glamour contestants (most you will just hate/cannot stand) but stick with it and it's actually an easy watch with some good twists, it's kind of like Traitors in reverse in that they can only lose money but has some interesting tasks/challenges and they can choose to vote or not to vote, interesting watch if you stick with it and can tolerate some of the characters (who naturally will get voted off), one or two good eggs in the show too.

  3. I'm sure if The Rock couldn't go 20-30 mins they would keep it short, have Rock/Roman trade a few big moves and have it done inside 10 minutes, think Brock/Goldberg a few years back, less is more etc.

Also when did the whole Pivot thing become a terminology in wrestling? Is this a new trendy word now?

  4. I would love to see a scenario where Diana & Ross get to the final with one of them being a traitor and the other a faithful and then both screwing over everyone else (depending on how many are left at the end).

It would in a way mean they are almost guaranteed the prize money.

Something along the lines of Diane, Ross & Paul in the final, Ross & Paul as traitors and then Diana taking the prize money with Ross turning on Paul and then whoever wins splits the money anyway.

  5. I haven't really watched WWE in over a year so I might not be best placed to judge or even comment but The Rock returning has definitely got my interest and I enjoyed watching back on You Tube this afternoon. In all honesty I would watch WrestleMania alone just to see The Rock vs Roman.

As I said I haven't seen WWE in a long time so can't speak for Cody or even much of the storylines but you could easily do Cody vs Roman and Roman vs Rock on both nights.

Rock vs Roman doesn't even have to be a long match (think Goldberg vs Brock), let them do their big moves, have some interference and all the smokes and mirrors, even have Cody interfere if you need too. Just keep it fun and Cody can still have his moment the following night.

  6. Not sure if anyone bothered watching the late show after the final but they showed how the votes went at time of first eviction, Jordan had like 40% of the votes and the others had like 15%-20% of the votes, I'm sure there was like 1% between Henry, Yimrun & Olivia. The only certainty was that Jordan was miles ahead.

  7. This might sound sneaky but UC might also give you an advance (e.g. £300) towards a new bed or fridge or something that you 'badly need' thats suddenly broken. Might help get you by and you are paying them back anyway so not like your stealing.

  8. I think Kerry is the only person I dislike in the house at the moment. One minute she's putting on the tears, then next minute she's ruthless, then she's all 'supportive' of everyone.

I feel like she's trying to be manipulating getting everyone on side, I hope they don't fall for it. Her playing up to the cameras is winding me up as well,

Comes across like a Gemma Collins V2 as if Gemma Collins V1 wasn't bad enough.

The worst part in this is that the public will probably vote her to win.

McMahon's AOL chats back in the day were fun though. He could have been a twitter disaster.

Some great responses in there by Vince.

Question: Vince, why didn't you show at the WCW PPV to fight Eric Bischoff?

WWFLive2: I sent Mr. Bishoff a letter indicating that any parking lot in any city in America would be a suitable location for me to meet him. Rather than me show up at a Turner PPV and increase their buy rates I chose to offer Mr. Bishoff a with no TV coverage, just Bishoff vs. Vince. I got no response.

  10. When does NXT go onto the WWE Network as trying to watch last nights show but isn't on there yet?

Is this because its shown on BT Sports first?

Not tuned in for a while so know the Raw & Smackdown were delayed by a few weeks but always thought NXT was on there straight away?

  11. I thought the two presenters were awful and wooden. Never liked Davina but at least she showed some passion in the show.

Looks an okay mix of housemates but was hoping there would be a big twist, maybe I am used to similar shows with twists and turns. Just feels like something was missing last night.

Also not being live took away some enjoyment, always liked the live intros and it felt like a taped edit of Smackdown.

  12. I think I have missed the boat with WFH in that the pandemic changed everything and it feels harder to get into this type of work now if you aren't already working from home (unless your willing to accept a lower salary).

Would appreciate any suggestions - I think I am done with facing the general public, travelling, seeing people & co workers every day.

In terms of being in the middle of nowhere that would be a term more suited to the O2 which is an absolute chore, and having attended at least 50 gigs at the 02 I'd say it's by far the worst post show venue to catch the tube from as the ques are ridiculous.  You'd also be spoilt for choice of good pubs and places to eat at the Spurs without being pushed into the over priced chains in the 02.

Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena are great places to visit these days, so much around them now including Box Park.  But anyone remember ten years back going to a gig at Wembley? There was absolutely nothing aside from the Wimpy of the high road.  That place has gone through an insane regeneration!

Personally I think the 02 is the best arena/stadium to visit in London, certainly the least stressful.

Food places you can go pretty much anywhere before the event as being centralish London you are tube stops away from the likes of Stratford/Canary Wharf etc (Wembley feels a bit more further out). Even the chain restaurants in the 02 aren't too terrible and overpriced (no more overpriced than the same chains you would find outside the 02). Also after the event there are a few pubs/bars open in the 02 if you want to have a drink and wait until the queues die down, whereas Wembley you are kicked out the stadium within 30 minutes of the event finishing and then need to find somewhere.

If you are driving then it's also much quicker getting out than Wembley which is horrendous (I know Wembley is bigger), you can also park cheaper if parking at the train station and much easier an exit.

Certainly don't think the 02 is as bad as some make out.

  14. If England top the group then I think all games kick off at 9pm Qatar time (and 7pm here) so cooler weather conditions might help. Whereas if they come 2nd to Iran (sorry Wales) then it's mainly earlier kick off times.

    I think anyway.

So much of it comes down to luck too. If your CV isn't completely rubbish and it's actually to a pretty good standard then it's mostly out of your hands and down to whoever's reading it and what else they read. And there's fuck all you can do about that.

Also depends when you apply for a job, I usually find that if you apply within the hour of the job going live you've got a better chance (of an interview anyway) than applying say 10 days in (by then they probably have a shortlist).

  16. Have recently started letting and my only gripe so far is the actual letting agents rather than the landlord, have already had one or two issues with the letting agents directly (one was them owing me money because I overpaid forgetting I had paid the deposit) and I can't help but feel that because I've pissed them off they won't be looking to do me any favours when it comes to renewing the rent for another year (assuming it works like that).

No issues with Landlord yet, just that horrible feeling where I feel that anything I say or do will go against me. Letting agents have been great at times and not great at other times and can't help but feel they have some power/sway in all this, hopefully I am wrong and the landlord will just be happy to have us continue for the next few years.
