Radio 2 is in full on mourning. Schedule is turned over to his favourite tracks. Clearly shocked by the news, Sara Cox was broken to bits. 

He never did much for me but he clearly had an amazing formula and connected with millions.

Iconic. What a triple threat. Playing Streets of Rage round my mate's started a lifetime obsession with the series for me. Revenge is just polished to fuck with beautiful sprites, pinpoint accuracy and excellent level design. Golden Axe was a little dated by point of release but still a fun bash 'em up. Hours of fun in that set. 

(I mean if you hate battering bad dudes this will suck, but they are incredibly well made.) 

The bacon looks 3D printed.

I looked up Brian Posehn; I knew the name but couldn't place it. Looks like he's been in one episode of everything ever.

The ever excellent Wrestling Bios is continuing his rundown of the Monday Night Wars. He has finally reached Over The Edge. 

Ryan has mentioned for weeks that he has not been looking forward to it and mulled over whether to even cover it. He's come down on the side that it needs mentioning. He handles it with consummate class and any video revenue plus his merch for Feb goes to the Owen Hart Foundation. 

It's still absolutely gut wrenching to watch. Just a horrendous production all round.

Not to dismiss the artistic merits of a Ms Swift film, let's not forget the Academy Awards are an industry show and a backslapping one: it came along and delivered a stack of money for very little cost; drove demographics back to the cinema that hadn't been since before 2020; and the studio will have hustled like mad to to canvas votes and ensure there is placing. Hollywood loves to celebrate this stuff. 

Gameshow perfection at the end there. Another terrific series.
