  1. Shocked to hear about Taylor Hawkins. Being a big Beach Boys fan, I always admired him for completing an unfinished Dennis Wilson song, Holy Man by adding vocals and it sounded fantastic.

    RIP Taylor.

  2. I have had the bright idea of modding my old PS3 and applying custom firmware. So far, I have replaced the internal hard drive with a 1tb hard drive and applied evilnat.

Has anyone modded a PS3 on here previously? If so, any recommendations or tips you can offer me?

  3. Been watching WCW on the Network and just started Starrcade 1993.

I do and in fairness have always loved WCW from late 1992 to 1994, it had so many up and coming stars and interesting little angles. One event I have developed a soft spot for is Battlebowl, yes, it is not without it's faults and probably not suited to a standalone PPV but I love the idea of random (some not so random) wrestlers being put together in tag teams and then a battle royal to end the event.

  4. Sad news about Meat Loaf, I know he had been in poor health for a while but last year, think it was around August time he performed a few songs and dedicated Out Of The Frying Pan to Jim Steinnman, who died earlier in the year, who he said was his friend and brother. When I heard that I immediately thought I was glad and I hoped that they put their differences aside.

In the video Meat Loaf looked like he had lost a bit of weight and was sat down for a good portion of songs but I thought his voice sounded a lot better than the last time I heard him live, which was probably 2010 time.

The video is on YouTube for anyone wanting to check it out - apologies, I would post it myself but I am crap at posting links etc.

    RIP Meat Loaf.

  5. I have been watching WCW on the Network, just into early 1993. For someone who has had a pretty decent acting career (up to that point at least), Jesse Vetura mouthing what his co commentator, usually Jim Ross or the wrestlers who he is interviewing are saying when on screen is really noticeable and annoying.

  6. Watched the first part of Get Back and loved it.

Never been that keen on Paul McCartney but watching this and seeing him try and work with George on Get Back (the song) when George was pretty much at the end of his tether was fascinating.
