I like Owens (maybe that's the problem ?) but he doesn't wrestle like a heel at all, does he ? I know it's 2016 and heels do cool stuff too these days but Owens just does way too much flashy stuff for the fans to want to boo him. Fishermens neck breaker, jumping moonsault, superkick to the ropes to counter AJs springboard (what's wrong with a simple push or grabing the ref?) and to top it off he goes over clean.

 

I just don't get it.

Thank you, someone who agrees that Kevin Owens isn't a great heel. He's constantly pandering to the crowd for cheers and pops. I think he's a great talent but doesn't quite fulfil his role as a top heel. Needs to take notes from The Miz.

Looking back at WCW 2000 and might be the only person who thinks Mike Awesome should have been World Heavyweight Champion. With the momentum he had from ECW, had a great look and they paid him over a million dollars to get him in the bloody company. His debut was pretty cool but after a few months he became a joke and never recovered.

Problem with a Meet and greet for this show is that AJ has been over so many times this year so anybody who wanted to meet him already has. Jay Lethal has wrestled over here this year for other promotions and prior to this year for RPW. Colt Cabana has wrestled God knows how many times for RPW. The only one who would have been difficult to meet is Bailey. I think it could be difficult to sell to people. It may just be worth charging people at the merch stalls to meet people. I think you would have to have at least these those 4 plus 6 Brittish wrestlers to get £40 but many of the Brittish wrestlers would have been met by any fans who wanted to meet them. Scurll, Osprey, Williams and Haskins are all fairly easy to meet if you want. Not sure about Damo or Zabre. If you had not many then I think £40 would be decent (I like meet and greets). People paid lots of money for the Japanese wrestlers because many had not been over before and for many (like myself) was there 1st RPW show.
