  1. Tame-ish story about Kerry Von Erich and cats.

    Quote

Just heard Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton talking about an incident they witnessed in WCCW. They said they were in an arena that was really cold and they were pouring rubbing alcohol on the concrete and lighting it just to get warm. They said a stray cat came in and that Kevin Von Erich picked it up and was petting it and saying "good kitty". Tommy said the boys weren't paying any attention. Then Kevin stood up and took the cat and slammed it as hard as he could into the concrete. He said that the cat was convulsing and had blood coming out of it mouth. He then said Kevin picked up a saw blade (circular saw) and went outside. He layed the cat in the grass and then proceeded to throw the blade at the cat cutting it up and mangling it. He then came back in the dressing room and with the bloody mangled cat and took it by the tail and swung it over his head and then slammed it against the wall. I heard Jack Victory tell the same story.

Global Wrestling Superstar MVP has a redemption story like no other.

Known worldwide for slamming opponents and winning Championship belts with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Impact Wrestling (TNA) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), he is a social media powerhouse with over half a million followers.

Life’s best success however comes only after great disappointment.

At the tender age of 16, he pleaded guilty to Armed Robbery and Kidnapping following a violent hold-up of a Cruise Ship Casino in Florida. Tried as an adult, the future body-slammer was sentenced to EIGHTEEN and a half years … in the slammer.

Now for the FIRST TIME EVER, MVP will be heading to the UK in November with a truly captivating one-man show entitled 'MVP: Most Valuable Prisoner'.

    He told  The Mirror:

"A lot people have only experienced the things I’ve experienced from a movie screen, but I have actually done things that are documented – you can look up the crime reports and the newspapers, it’s all there. The heist that sent me to prison is comparable to something like Oceans Eleven. I was a teenager and it was a major heist of a cruise ship and I pulled it off. From age 16 to 26, I literally became a man in prison so it was influential in shaping me. There was a prison guard that introduced me to pro wrestling and I needed a hobby, so I devoted myself to it – I lived it, ate it and slept it and that’s how I became MVP. So people might think MVP was an overnight success, but I had to travel a long way to get there."

The show and EXCLUSIVE guest Q&A promises to give the audience an incredible, no holds barred insight into prison life and wrestling redemption - capturing all of its explicit yet often comedic detail, told as only the charismatic MVP can.

State of those prices. I like MVP but he can't seriously justify those prices.

  3. I'll mention the more recent interactions I have had with the wrasslers!

    - Ryback followed me on Instagram for like a week after I posted a cool photo with Jeff Jarret on his UK tour.

    - Eric Bischoff has retweeted and replied to me on a regular basis including digs about Dave Meltzer

    - Hurricane Helms retweeted and replied to my photo of me in a Hurricane Helms costume including face paint from 2001 (Long Live The Alliance!)

    - Shayna Baszler retweeted and replied to my cool graphic I did of her which got some good amount of retweets and likes.

    That's about it.

Oh blocked on twitter by Sunny, Brooke Hogan and CM Punk.

  4. Without Anvil, Bret would have never been the success he became so I always thought Anvil was pretty underrated. Hart Foundation were a superb team and will go down to me personally as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. I always rank the match against Demolition SS 1990 as one of the best tag matches you'll ever see!

    RIP Anvil!

  5. Canadian Stampede 1997 - Wild crowd with the Hart Foundation faction at it's peak with the Canada vs. America story line.

WrestleMania 19 - Super fun show that gets overlooked because of WrestleMania 17 but for me it's on the same level with all four of it's major matches delivering (Hogan/Vince, Rock/Austin, Jericho/HBK and Lesnar/Angle).

WrestleMania 17 - Probably my most watched show of all time. Don't what else you can say about this show except it's one of the best ppvs of all time and still holds up well in 2018.

Survivor Series 1995 - Not a show that will be featured on many people's lists but I am a New Generation fan boy and this was show was unique for it's traditional survivor series match with Heels/Faces being mixed. The main event with Nash/Hart was an epic No DQ match which hadn't really been done before. This show has a special place in my heart.

SummerSlam 2002 - How can you not rate this show? Not a single bad match, Mysterio/Angle have a fun opener, HBK/HHH was excellent and Brock Lesnar became a star after beating The Rock.

Fucking hell, he's throwing them out like mad lately isn't. That's three matches in NXT this year, right? Or four? I haven't seen the tag match yet, but according to Meltz then it must be better than any WWE (non-NXT) match since Cena/Punk.

It's his fourth 5 Star match he's awarded for NXT this year. Almas/Gargano, Gargano/Ciampa, Ladder Match and now this tag team match.
