Global Wrestling Superstar MVP has a redemption story like no other.

Known worldwide for slamming opponents and winning Championship belts with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Impact Wrestling (TNA) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), he is a social media powerhouse with over half a million followers.

Life’s best success however comes only after great disappointment.

At the tender age of 16, he pleaded guilty to Armed Robbery and Kidnapping following a violent hold-up of a Cruise Ship Casino in Florida. Tried as an adult, the future body-slammer was sentenced to EIGHTEEN and a half years … in the slammer.

Now for the FIRST TIME EVER, MVP will be heading to the UK in November with a truly captivating one-man show entitled 'MVP: Most Valuable Prisoner'.

    He told  The Mirror:

"A lot people have only experienced the things I’ve experienced from a movie screen, but I have actually done things that are documented – you can look up the crime reports and the newspapers, it’s all there. The heist that sent me to prison is comparable to something like Oceans Eleven. I was a teenager and it was a major heist of a cruise ship and I pulled it off. From age 16 to 26, I literally became a man in prison so it was influential in shaping me. There was a prison guard that introduced me to pro wrestling and I needed a hobby, so I devoted myself to it – I lived it, ate it and slept it and that’s how I became MVP. So people might think MVP was an overnight success, but I had to travel a long way to get there."

The show and EXCLUSIVE guest Q&A promises to give the audience an incredible, no holds barred insight into prison life and wrestling redemption - capturing all of its explicit yet often comedic detail, told as only the charismatic MVP can.

    Venue/Ticket Rules:

State of those prices. I like MVP but he can't seriously justify those prices.

Fucking hell, he's throwing them out like mad lately isn't. That's three matches in NXT this year, right? Or four? I haven't seen the tag match yet, but according to Meltz then it must be better than any WWE (non-NXT) match since Cena/Punk.

It's his fourth 5 Star match he's awarded for NXT this year. Almas/Gargano, Gargano/Ciampa, Ladder Match and now this tag team match.

  3. I really enjoy the Bischoff podcast and while it may not be as good as Something to Wrestle With, it's certainly a better listen than What Happened When. His memory isn't as bad as I thought it would be and I always get a kick out of him ripping Melzter and Keller on a regular basis.

  4. Former iMPACT! Wrestling and Ring of Honor (ROH) Superstar Taeler Hendrix recently took to Twitter to discuss her time in ROH. In a series of tweets, she said she was the best part of the House of Truth. But when a fan praised Jay Lethal for becoming a two-time ROH Champion at the TV tapings over the weekend, Hendrix ‏claimed that she was taken off of ROH TV for “not sleeping with Lethal”.

    Yikes.

  5. That match was incredible. Kenny Omega really is the best performer in wrestling today, just a superb talent. I'm looking forward to what ludacris rating Dave Meltzer gives it next week.

I really did not enjoy Naito/Jericho. It was sloppy, full of botches and Naito looked pissed with Jericho at the end. But Jericho is over with the Japanese audience, loud chants for 'Y2J' and nice pop when he got the victory.

I'm probably the only person who was disappointed with Ospreay/Takahashi. Maybe I need to rewatch it again but I just didn't love it and thought it was good match, nothing more.

You only need to watch that documentary those French guys did about 9/11 (accidently, it's where the news people get the footage of the first plane going in) if you want to see a film about 9/11. What a heart-pounding thing with all the sounds. It just gets to you. Can't remember it's name. Two French guys. BBC1 used to show it the first couple of years after the disaster.

I will have to give it a watch mate.

  7. I decided to watch the film 9/11 that was released last year starring Charlie Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg. I may receive some backlash for this but I didn't actually hate this film. I thought it had some decent performances in it and was an easy watch considering the theme of the film.

Although was reminded after watching this film that Charlie Sheen has his own theories on how the Twin Towers went down...

  8. Is it wrong I really enjoyed Big Cass/Daniel Bryan segment on Smackdown?

I'm really enjoying Big Cass as a heel since he returned on Smackdown. He's a big guy who hates small guys and felt overshadowed with Daniel Bryan's return and now he's out for vengeance. It's great stuff in my opinion.
