Whilst not on the same level at all, I was originally going to be called Finbar but my parents decided that giving a child an Irish name in 1970s West Midlands might not be wise.Â
ÂOn the plus side of things you must have been pleased not to have been called Finbar though. Keith is much cooler.

Fuck Kevin Holland, the UFC equivalent of Poochie from The Simpsons.Â

The way I see it.
If you want to do what's right for the sport you do Ngannou v Stipe 3
If you wanna create a mouthwatering superfight for the ages in fucking Zaire or somewhere, throw all the money at Jon Jones.
If you are Dana White you do Ngannou v Lewis 2, the rematch nobody is clamouring for.

At least 3 of the lads I used to play with were at QPR during Chris Gieler's reign of terror. All joking about it on social media the last few weeks so probably escaped a bumming.Â
-
Ngannou looked 100 times better than in their first fight, the only thing he has left to answer would be question marks over the gas tank.Â
Word to my least favourite fighter to watch on planet earth Tyrone Woodley, who overcame his yips and turned up to throw down. Delighted that Luque won, but wouldn't be too upset if UFC kept that version of Woodley around for a few more fights.Â

Jones is absolutely terrible at holding UFC to ransom and we both know Aljamain ain't the real champ!

Not one of mine (I'm shit at photos) but I have recently discovered and fallen in love with the black and white photos of Tish Murtha, the best of which is the amazing shot below.

This must be the first time none of the UFC champions are Americans?Â
I am pleased for Francis but equally sad for Stipe. Both are great lads. There's not much talk of a third fight is there....I would have thought Stipe would be one of the few champs to have a good claim to an immediate rematch.
Francis vs Jones is what I want to see though. I dunno how Jones keeps the big man off him for 5 rounds.Â

Thinking back to when the Soup Dragons changed the game.

Well that was the most Leon Edwards thing ever.
Hope Bilal is okay.Â

The asterix you worked so hard for last year is no longer applicable I'm afraid.Â

They're surely not going to go back to this 'protecting 3pm kickoffs' shite next season, are they? It's been great having football on staggered throughout the weekend and being able to watch all Premier League games on TV if I wanted, as should be the case. Absolutely ridiculous if they go back.Â
I agree completely, premier league football is a TV show now with seasons etc. It hasn't been affected by the pandemic aesthetically or financially. Having no fans there has made little difference to the product and lets face it, what a time for a gay footballer to come out unless the guy controlling the crowd noises is Jim Davidson.Â

If I'm throwing together a best ever world XI Inzy would be a very strong contender for the wildcard/guilty pleasure slot.Â

There's always wanking for pennies to fall back on.

Genuine tears of laughter watching that at points!

I only ever break out the plastic St George's cross I purchased from a garage forecourt for football World Cups and when we take on the Australians at cricket but I'll be dusting it off for Leon Edwards tonight.Â

Awful mate, you must be conjuring up a murder.

Which would be strange enough if you weren't a cop, but the fact that you are one makes it far, far worse.
Or indeed, less surprising.Â

Good luck with that Shy Dad, they haven't played last season's final yet.

Dunno if it was a mafia thing or an American thing but I love the way the characters in the Sopranos, chiefly Christopher and Ralph, pronounce "whore" as "whooah".Â

Nearly everything I've seen or heard from Dan Hardy over the last 18 months screams midlife crisis.Â
He's definitely one of the bests analysts they had in house, but I wasn't mad on him as a commentator to be honest.

Meanwhile, Labour are still a shambles. Just a more centrist shambles with Starmer in charge. Infighting galore which has pretty much been the story for the last eleven years since they lost power. Wish they’d sort themselves out.
It's some achievement to actually lose ground to the Tories over the last 12 months, despite everything recorded in this thread.Â

As Keith well knows, he vanished with the tesseract around the halfway point of Avengers: Endgame, breaking space aand time and creating another fascinating and lucrative phantom limb of the Marvel Multiverse.Â
