  1. So I went to the Kagiawa Neon Dynasty pre-release last Saturday and apart from losing all my matches 2-1, it's a really fun set and now I'm tempted to buy a box to draft with friends. I would say I'd get the commander sets from this, but one of my mates has already ordered them, so i'll get a chance to play them anyway.

  2. The new Zeal & Ardor is fucking great. It goes all over the place with genres, whilst being a cohesive thing. Even the black metal style vocal screams don't annoy the piss out of me which they tend to do on straight up BM stuff.

Arena is fun but I miss going to a gaming shop to draft MTG. Don't have the time for that kind of thing these days though unfortunately.

I'm going to the Kamigawa Neon Pre-release next weekend, so that should be fun. I only ever do Drafts or Commander IRL. There's too many overly competitive players at my local shop and any format like Modern or Standard isn't fun against them.

  4. I've got tickets to see goth rock band Unto Others and Napalm Death booked in for next month. I'm hoping day tickets for Download go up soon, since I only really want to go for the Saturday.

  5. @SuperBaconIf you're looking to try and learn how to Magic The gathering I would suggest download MTG Arena. It's free to download for PC, Mac or on mobile. It has a fairly comprehensive tutorial and once you;ve been playing a while it's easy enough to create your own decks. I've become a little bit addicted to playing it and will try to get a couple of games in during my lunch break on my phone.

Gaming associated as I will be getting back into painting my giant backlog of mini’s, what do people think of the army Painter Speedpaints?  I’ve not used GW’s contrast ones due to hating going into GW, so nothing to compare them to really.

The sets aren't out yet, though they should be by the end of the month/early March. This video is a pretty comprehensive review of them and I've got the starter set pre-ordered to paint up my Zombicide miniatures with.

  7. I'm really tempted to go to see Carpenter Brut November next year and Perturbator is playing the week after. I just don't want to book this far ahead for a gig if I don't have a scooby what's going to be happening in 12 months time.

  8. I ended up getting covid a few weeks ago after going to a beer festival. I was fine since I have had 2 jabs. I did the Lateral Flow test before work on the Sunday and it came up inconclusive. Booked a PCR straight away and after I got the positive test news Tuesday morning, I had to have the week off. I didn't have any major symptoms, but I definitely had a slight loss of taste for a few days.

Vests encouraged, nobs should remain firmly tucked away.

Not technically a one hit wonder, their previous single Don't Stop Wiggle Wiggle was also a number 1 in the UK, though hardly any other fucker remembers it.

I didn't remember Don't Stop Wiggle Wiggle getting to number 1. I am sure the only reason their singles sold so well was teenage boys wanting to hear dirty words.

Nope. Forks go face up so the tines don't get stuck in the holes in the little cutlery box. If you are cutting yourself on a fork when emptying the dishwasher that is pathetic.

I've definitely stabbed myself in the hand  on a fork getting the caddy out. It might be a different design, but I never had any difficulty taking the cutlery out of it though.

Oh, sorry. I was more talking about which way the plates face and the need to put cutlery in a certain position, as it all gets cleaned the same.

That's the one thing I disagree with. Knives and forks should face down in the little cage, otherwise you can cut yourself taking it out of the machine.
