  1. I've just started watching Raw and can't help but notice how little of a reaction Sami Zayn got when he came out. There were even people on the front row looking down at their phones. Maybe it's because the feud with Kevin Owens seems to have been going on for about 2 years. Zayn hasn't done much else of note other than the Cena match.

On the flip side, at MITB he had people singing his theme and got what I'd say is a decent bit of crowd reaction.

It's the chronic problem that the WWE has at the moment that crowds are so erratic and inconsistent in their reactions. One week a guy could be over as hell, next week tumbleweeds because of the crowd that's there.

  2. Former UK wrestler Domino, who used to work for All-Star and WZW amongst others, particularly in the mid-00s, has passed away.

Great physique, and even appeared a couple of times on WWE TV when they were taping over here.

Always remember him on Jobber duty on a UK Show, ring announcer stopping mid intro to check his name.

  3.

Spotify have got a bunch of WWE themes up now, for some reason. A load of old Jim Johnston stuff is up there. Search for "WWE Federation Years".

The Music of WCW is on Spotify, too.

Yeah, I've had a look at that. Seems like it's really shitty cover-versions though. Is it an official WWE product?

Its a genuine product, and real recordings too.

    It's just WCW shite.

Interestingly, TAFKA Prince Iaukea's theme was originally in there and is now gone. Wonder if Prince took issue with it.

  4. Dunno if it's been said already but "Surprise" run ins/returns etc, that the wrestler in question just so happens to manage to have their music and video cued, and in some situations even a name bar on the screen.

Does that wrestler go to the production truck/music area and say "guys, Here's a new piece of music for me, and a video I've had made, play it when I am going to surprise this guy..."

    Always bugged me.

In the same vein, when did we start playing music to celebrate someone doing a beatdown? Way back we would have a run in by a heel or something who would kick the stuffing out of someone, then leave to the crowd reaction. Now for some reason we play their music to celebrate what they've just done? When did that become a thing?

  5. One of the biggest problems I think is in Creative. The writers are placing what I believe too much hope on things that are over in NXT getting instantly over in the main show. It's all about "knowing your audience", something which they don't seem to be doing too well.

  6. Couldn't get into GTA Online at all. For the 1/4 of the time I actually managed to get into a game without cloud server errors, I just found the entire thing really dull. 16 Players is not enough to fill a map that size, and for me it had the reverse effect single player had. Instead of me feeling like I was free to roam this huge open world, I felt like I was stuck in a big empty hole away from everyone else.

I wanted to love it, but making people wait two weeks for online functions, then another 2 weeks later and it's had 2 patches and still isn't fixed means I've got over it. The hype has gone and I just traded it in.

It was an absolute genius move for Rockstar to treat Online as a completely different entity to V and release it later. Had it released as one package in this state, you can guarantee there'd have been much much fewer 9s and 10s.

I must be in the minority. I held of a few days after launch, and I've never had any problems at all with online (bar one or two connection errors, which happen with any game).

I thoroughly enjoy it. When you go in to a full session with a crew, and go bounty hunting. It's a hoot. That and some missions with randoms can be fun too. It'll be even more fun when heists come out, and they add some more new missions and game types.

  7. Question:

On GTA:O, why can't you put a bounty on certain people's heads?

I realise rank is one thing, but if they're over a certain rank and it's not letting you select them, is there a reason why?

Maybe they are in passive mode?

Nope, they were very much active.

  9. If you'd have mentioned a wrestler people had heard of, they might have used it. Boom.Unlucky, though. That Chase program is a bastard for UKFF members. Carbomb and Dazz have now bit the dust.

The worst bit was being in Seat 4. I could answer most of the other peoples Cash builders and chases. :(
  10. There's a bloke on the Chase who just said if he'd win the money he'd go to WrestleMania. He then went on a long rant about "if you've ever been you get the bug". In a complete set up by ITV, during the speech the camera went to his fellow contestant (which they never do while talking to a new contestant) who had a look on her face that said "fucking loser". She even rolled her eyes slightly. It was great. If you don't laugh, you'll cry I suppose. He must be on this forum. He was a Scottish lad, who likes wrestling and wears shit clothes. Anyone fit that description?

Twas I :)They asked me who my favourite wrestler was, and we talked a little about CM Punk. Personally, we talked about the volunteer work I do and I felt that was the better chat, but they never used it sadly!
  11. It doesn't matter. Norfolk will suddenly be London when she's called up. It's the WWE geography way, just ask my fellow "Mancunian" Wade Barrett or "Cardiffs own" Mason Ryan.

Because "Ayr, Scotland" is such a common place for a wrestler to come from....
