It’ll be a double taping this Friday, that’s what they always tend to do prior to the Saudi shows.

Yes, this was confirmed to be the case several weeks ago.

King Mabel goes from King to WWF title main event challenger to GONE in seven months on account of being a reckless buffoon who kept hurting people ; his appearance in the Rumble is his last for two and a half years. Sir Mo is shitcanned too. New Haven on 6th they ask Sid to do a job to Bob Holly and he decides he's had enough again and quits, since for the second run in a row he feels he's been made promises that weren't kept.

Mabel goes from King to PPV Main Event World title challenger to gone in 7 months.

Then Sid goes from quitting after losing to a nobody to being world champion in 10 months.

NOTHING would be dumber than putting Bret Hart on a UK show without advertising it in advance. Maybe doing the same in Canada.

No-one's going to buy a ticket just because Bret has been advertised to stand on the stage and wave for 30 seconds.

If he's been paid by someone else to fly into the country and is going to be a 2 minute drive from the stadium, they'd be dumb not to feature him on the show.

Taker's going to be in town that weekend. Doing an "evening with" on the Friday night at New Theatre, Cardiff. Seems to be run through WWE so I guess there's a chance he'll show his face at the PPV too in some form?

Might have been tempted, but £105 - ha, yeh right.   The report of the one in Nashville made it sound pretty dull.

The news sites have been claiming Rock/Roman is happening at “the next Mania” for years now, with different reasonings behind their explanations as to why “this is definitely the year”, and it hasn’t. At this point I believe it’ll go in the same chapter as Austin/Punk, of matches we wanted, but never got.

To be fair to them on this one, if they want to do it in LA - Mania in LA was originally supposed to be last year, so the "it'll happen next year" rumours date back to 2019 for that reason.

  6. Just Kane's pyro being set up on the posts when Kane was having a surprise return or run-in was always annoying.   Kane was always nice enough to inform the pyro guys he was going to be doing a surprise return next week on Raw.

I think he retired just in time for them to be able to have the pyro come out of the top of the posts rather than on the side of them when it wouldn't be as obvious Kane was about to come out.

It doesn't specify tickets sold though does it? Not how I read it anyway, I saw it as tickets distributed as tickets put up for sale 60 thousand and the 11 thousand would be tickets not put out for sale but they could if they wanted.

I'm sure it has sold well but it isn't clear.

No that means there's 11,000 available to buy now.   Distributed isn't the same as sold though as that will account for comps, giveaways etc.   Going to be more people there than Summerslam.

  8. Regardless of whether this is his reason, due to his age (obviously not) or because of everything that's happened (obviously)....whether it was genuinly his decision or he's been forced out, whether he'll still secretly have some say - and no matter who takes over....this is absolutely massive news for WWE and eventually wrestling in general.

  9. All the morons who says PG ruined it always shut up when you remind them it was 14 from 2001-2008 when fans online spent more time complaining about how shit it is than they do now.

  10. Didn't know where else to post this, but it seems WWE have found another new way of getting as much money as is possible out of the most mental of fans - by which I mean the ones who will be walking around Nashville in 35 degree heat in black t-shirts - with much more money than sense (black t-shirts and several replica titles) , as they are selling tickets to WATCH THE TRYOUTS taking place before Summerslam !

RIP. Little known fact is that Dave Hebner never refereed another match after the Hogan Andre angle in 1988. Earl refereed as "Dave Hebner" for many years until they started acknowledging him as Earl in the Attitude Era.

Not true according to WWE's obituary.
