Interesting seating plan for an arena.  I'm guessing it's so they can cram more people in.Â

Thanks for the guidance guys, I'll consider it heavily. Don't think I'd do a live Podcast show like I did before CATC
ATM the O2 website has both nights down to start at 17.30pm.Â
Doors open at 5.30 that means.
-
MITB is listed as starting at 7pm.
Do you need to go back to Barking after the Abba show?  Seems like you’d be better off not doing that and just going from the Abba Arena to the O2.

Smackdown will also be taking place at the 02 the night before Money in the bank. Presale for both shows on February 22nd.
Also, interestingly is that they say Smackdown will air live.

Jay and Jimmy have both had DUI's and weren't in Montreal last time for the show. They could do the angle with the reveal not happening until the following Raw (unless in Canada) or Smackdown.Â
It is in Canada.  The following Smackdown is back in USA though.

Cody wasn’t a surprise entry.  Can’t be a direct comparison to Lesnar last year.

They did the same last year too.
I’ll be watching live although I’m working Sunday as I know I’ll be spoiled on social media otherwise, The Rumbles always my favourite PPV although I’ve been disappointed by the last few years.
Heart Says Sami(obviously) Head says Cody.
I would say Ripley to win the women’s but I can see Beth Phoenix turning up to start a Mania feud and eliminate her.  So I’ll go with Becky.
2022 was really rubbish I'll give you and I feel like it's unfair to judge 2021 as it was in the Thunderdome, but 2020 was one of the best ones there's ever been  (just talking about the men's Rumbles here).

Ironically the day these was an announced was also the same day Vince returnedÂ
I wonder with his possible return too creative. Will it affect ticket sales for this ???
Stuck with my 'silver experience' but my luck tickets will be plentiful
No way.  This will sell out very quickly.

Agree completely, my comments above were in relation to the Olympic stadium.Â
O2 is a breeze to get out of (I'm there a couple of times a year for gigs and dinners) I live in East London so its also a blessing to be going the opposite way to the herds getting back into London.Â
Sorry, I thought you were talking about the O2 Arena.

It's a great venue.... until you try to leave it. Absolutely awful logistics to get back to Stratford station. That, and the extortionate prices for food and drink.Â
I've been to the O2 Arena nearly 40 times and only once had any trouble leaving it and that is when the Jubilee line closed for some reason during the show, so no prior warning it wouldn't be running.  The only alternative option offered was to just get the regular bus and the 8-10 minute journey to Stratford took over an hour.  I think it's a tremendous venue.  And the prices for food/drink are no worse than any other arena I've been to.

I figured there was a reason London had been left off both the upcoming UK tours.  Didn't expect it to be this though.

If KO vs. Reigns is to happen at Rumble - KO loses, Sami wins the Rumble.  Reigns convinces Sami to use his title shot at EC in his hometown, but then at the show he tells Sami he has to lay down.  Sami refuses to, KO helps Sami win.  Then KO turns on Sami just like he did when Sami won the NXT title - jealous that he couldn't beat Reigns. KO turning on Sami in Montreal would also be a mega moment, the crowd would go crazy.  Then KO vs. Sami at Mania for the title - how cool would that be given their history.  And then just Reigns vs. Rock somehow, no title involved.
If it is Rock v Reigns at Mania and if it is for the title - how are they going to get to that without having Rock in the Rumble.  The only way I can think is having Sami win the Rumble, but Reigns convinces him to use the shot at EC - but then Sami loses and Rock just comes out the next show and challenges Reigns.  Boring.

It was Setanta Sports, but it was a bit later...2004.  So they didn't go right from Channel 4 to Setanta, they went from C4 to Sky Sports Box Office and then to Setanta then back to Sky.

There’s also a strong argument that with live broadcasts coming in the middle of the night in the UK, two WWE changes have had particularly negative effects in this country. The addition of a third hour, taking Raw’s conclusion from 3am to 4am, has likely been a final straw for many previously dedicated viewers. Meanwhile the increasing availability of legal highlight videos on YouTube may have been more of a deterrence to watching the full TV shows here than for Americans who can watch live in the evening.
Fascinating stuff in that post.
Â
This bit's wrong though isn't it?  When Raw went to 3 hours, the additional hour was the first hour.  It had been on from 2am-4am and it changed to 1am-4am.  It meant only needing to stay up until 1 for Raw to start, but we always had to stay up until 4 for it to finish.
Â
What was the channel that aired the 4 PPVs that Channel 4 stopped airing.  They were on another PPV channel for a year then Sky got them back.  Can't remember it now.  Also, somehow in that era it meant there was one PPV that didn't air anywhere here.  Maybe Vengeance 2003 or something like that?

Spare a thought for my ex who painstakingly researched the seating plan for the O2 for when we went to see Raw or Smackdown and got us aisle seats (bloody expensive as well) as she was convinced they'd come down that aisle.
They broke up a month or so before.
I'm still a bit heartbroken by what Rollins did.
For their first breakup?  When Seth joined The Authority?  Your memory's playing tricks on you if so, as the next Raw in London after The Shield broke up was 10 months later.

It's possible but unlikely that I still have the unedited footage of it.

I vaguely remember a video of Sandman using the Grandstand theme at some small show, am I remembering that wrong or did that happen? Google isn't giving me anything unfortunately.Â
Â
That did happen yes.  The music guy wasn’t a wrestling person, played the wrong track and Sandman either not caring or too drunk to realise, went with it.  Not sure if it was Grandstand, but it was something like that.

Something that is at least original but that viewers know we can switch off as nothing show related is gonna happen except a great promo we might miss if we don’t watch.
I hope you don't mention this idea in your job interview for CEO of the USA Network.

Veer Mahaan was on an NXT house show yesterday, so he's possibly done with Raw.

Seems a bit of a waste of a tease, it being a current main roster wrestler, who recently returned and has been around the main event scene?Â
Â
Well, they did do that for Edge just about 2 months ago.
Â
Maybe it's for Bray Wyatt AND Karrion Kross.
-
Weren't Armageddon in the Wrestlemania Tag Team Battle Royal?  Or were they still The Truth Commision at that point ?
-
Cardiff didn’t get chosen.  WWE got chosen by Cardiff.
That’s why they haven’t done another stadium show in Australia.  Because no city has asked WWE to come back yet.
If London gets a stadium show it’ll be because London wants it not because WWE wants it.
-
Exactly the point though. Â This event was on the Network, because it exists now. Â So that more than anything else makes it different to Insurrextion or Rebellion.
Lack of title changes means nothing. Â Plenty of PPVs take place with no title changes.
-
The main difference that Insurrextion and Rebellion weren’t shown even in America, let alone anywhere else in the world (Australia only I think)

Got combo ticket.  Would have preferred to get cheaper tickets for Smackdown, but MITB is going to sell out instantly, so the combo is the way to go for the guarantee of MITB ticket.
