Unbelievable from start to finish.

The man who defined the word cool.
The greatest pro wrestler to never hold a World Title, he didn’t need it.
RIP Razor.

The goings on behind the scenes is the only exciting aspect of WWE these days.

New players tribune article from Amanda Huber about Brody and his illness. Proper had me bubbling up. Get yourself pals like Cody and Big E .
it’s a long read so make sure you have time
Heartbreaking but thanks for sharing, I’m pleased I read it. Very honest and real account from Amanda, she’s been through so much but keeps on going.

anyone up for Lopez/Kambosos?
One of the most mental saga's of the year finally gets settled on Saturday night. This thing was originally seen as a stroke of genius from Lopez who got Triller to bid $6 million to host the fight. Triller shit the bed on numerous occasions and refused to put it on. Matchroom rescued it and here we are months later.
The fight itself was seen a routine defence for Lopez originally, but its turned into a huge grudge match and Kambosos ridiculous confidence and self belief has got people thinking this may be more competitive than anyone first imagined. I cant wait for it.
Well, it didn’t disappoint.
That was incredible.

My other half had a Christmas one done for her Mum and Sister of Jim from Friday Night Dinners. It was excellent to be fair!

Only watched the main event so far.
It was simply amazing from start to finish.....very creative and lots of fun.
Massive praise to all involved.

Christian seems to be a good guy. I've never heard anyone have a bad word to say about him. He always comes across well in interviews, podcasts etc....

Jericho had wins against The Rock and Austin in the same night to become the first ever Undisputed Champion and was treated like a joke.
The Rock's first title was short lived but he was an absolute star. He carried himself like he was untouchable.
He was presented by the company to look strong, to look the best but he still proved to be ready for it.....hell he looked born for it.
Like stated on the previous page he had so much help in title matches , got cheap wins but he was never presented like he didn't belong in the position.

The chat regarding, does the title make the man got me thinking.....which wrestlers have had a good run when winning the World Heavyweight title for the first time?
By and large it seems to be a role the wrestler needs to grow into so first title reigns are often disappointing.
Austin seemed to be fine but he was absolutely red hot at the time and had been in the business for many years before winning the big one.
Thoughts?

Tyson Kidd still seems to employed by WWE. I know he's had an horrendous time with injuries.
He's been very unlucky......but lucky to still be picking up a pay check.
Curtis Axel.....It can't have been easy for him, most long-term wrestling fans have such fond memories of his Dad, who was very talented. He just sèems to be a big lump who is ok in the ring but nothing special, he's never looked all that comfortable in any role he's been given and lacks the charisma of his father.

Regal seems well respected but he's been given a fair few chances over the years. I think he's admitted in the past that he's been very lucky through his difficult times.
It's often mentioned he's friends with HHH? Are they close?

The way things are going, I can see Jericho vs Vanguard being feud of the year.
-
It needs to stop.
Both WWE and AEW can provide content without taking so many unnecessary risks to the health of it's workers.
-
The reviews of last night's episode have been so bad on here, I think I might have to watch it.
It's like eye balling a road accident, you know you shouldn't but you can't help it.

Hardy is on today’s talk is Jericho. Lots of good chat and nice to know information that the Hoyt stuff was filmed at Darby Allins place
Thanks for the heads up. Listened to it yesterday afternoon. Nice, easy, back and forth interview. Can see Hardy having lots of creative fun in AEW.

Only watched highlights so far but they seemed to make the most of a bad situation.
They made the show much more fun and interesting than WWE, while progressing storylines for future episodes/events.
Good decsion to say, next time on Dynamite and not, next week.

Why are they trying to continue as "normal"? It's absolute death. I don't blame them for trying to put a show out because people need something at the moment and they can provide it but doing what they'd usually do in front of nobody is awful.
I agree Rick.
It's weird and just doesn't work.
They need to stop performing like they have a live crowd and get more creative.

Right. I have decided it's time to make some much needed lifestyle changes. I've ballooned to a little over 20 stone in weight. I suffered a spinal cord injury in 2013 and I simply can't continue to carry this amount of weight. I've reached the stage of feeling sluggish, tired all the time and I don't like how I look or feel.
I don't want to call it a diet because I want to make slight changes that I can carry on throughout the rest of my life.
Going to cut out takeaways and eating rubbish, cut the size of meal portions, make healthier food choices and exercise on a regular basis.

Yeah. Listened to the Jericho podcast, Jim came across really well. He seems such a nice fella and funny too.
The story of Chris meeting him when he was 15 shows what a honest, decent and appreciative bloke he is.
-
Enjoyable show. I like how the storylines build and how themes run through each episode. Nice surprise to see Jake Roberts show up. Would prefer The Lucha Bros to be single wrestlers but a short term alliance with Pac should be fun.
Doesn't seem to hurt Jericho one little bit not having the title. Another strong episode, amazing start to the year for AEW.

Jim Duggan on Jericho a few weeks back was a great listen. Duggan always seems one of the more switched on, easy going guys out of the old lot, Jericho was cracking up all the way through it.
Fantastic.
Wasn't aware of this. Will have a listen this morning.

Like stated already by others, I feel the theme music and quality of sound for most of the roster could be greatly improved.
Jericho, Page, S.C.U. and one or two others have intros or theme music that I recognise straight away but for far too many I don't have a clue.

Something of a shock to read Jake involved. Although I think AEW have done well so far at incorporating older named stars into storylines or just one off episodes.
Not heard anything about Jake for a good while, is he still doing well?
