  1. I have a one use PDF Code for Jim Cornette - Behind the Curtains as created In his Kickstarter Campaign. If any one wants the code I am willing to sell at £25, which seems high but it is the value that was given to it. I'm not trying to rip anyone off I just want to break even.

I sold one of the two physical books that I own on eBay cutting even on it for £79.99 (I had two lots of Customs Costs as they valued each of the packages at $70). I probably could have got much more had I been patient.

The other part of the Kickstarter I'm still waiting for 17 months after my initial pledge.

  2. Last year they held the main event of Smackdown off in Manchester until they had put on 205 Live and Mixed Tag Challenge. Crafty bastards. They knew if they filmed either of the two at the end then most would walkout and leave. Made  it finish the same time as Raw the night before. It's a long night if they pull those tricks again.

Last time I saw a double taping was Smackdown in 2008, finished after 11 if I recall. But that then had HHH vs Jeff Hardy & Undertaker vs Jeff Hardy, before any of the three really started braking down. So was well worth it. Seem to remember lots of the backstage got cut out. I may have a rethink about this, if it definitely is SD and Raw tapings.

  3. Thank's I though so but with the day changes then it's pretty confusing. Would make sense that if it's live that's WWE's night. But it's not, it's still tapped even if only by a few hours. Looks like gone are the days of the back to back show takings, which for attendance is a much more sensible thing. I've seen the MEN almost sell out a Smackdown house show when that was the only date they got. Last year with both the RAW and Smackdown takings, Smackdown was poorly attended and the upper tier closed. Plenty of seats next to the hard cam didn't get sold, 114 & 115 etc.

Times may have changed but they we're touring Hull around the same time the 'Sold Out' the old Wembley.

Just out of interest, I'm guessing these are bought shows, but how big is Minehead? They seem to tour there frequently.

I only write on here on my phone, so it's done by that self changing predictive text. Which is more than frustrating. When I'm in a rush and don't read back through what I've wrote, then mistakes easily slip through the cracks.

  4. Please can someone tell me for certain if the show in Manchester is tapped? I won't go if it's not. I have Manchester Arena calling me back soon. So if anyone can confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.

  5. Somewhere on Something to Wrestle with they talk about arena configurations, Rumble 1997 in the Alamodome I think. In my understanding they could rent the O2 only keep the lower bowl or part of open. They costs would then come right down. It's better for them to hold a show in an arena where they hold shows 50% of year and are just looking for something to fill one of the few empty calendar dates. The O2 is arranged almost a year in advance so they tend to try and fill as many spots up as possible. For they empty slots they have much small configuration options. It can work to a companies advantage taking one of these over the smaller venues for a number of reasons. Primarily they have full time staffing in most of the key areas sorted with or without this booking. That being security, mercy sales, event staffing and concession staffing. Add on top the much broader marketing scope (listened on event flyers, the main website and arena's social media fields), they will have event expertise so will know how to price tickets and merchandise. They also have in-house screening and sound, and are one of the few venues in this Country naturally set up for filming wrestling / boxing (hence why WWE and Eddie Hearn only keep to a few arenas for their main televised stuff). This is why TNA hired arena's after that single tour using hall type buildings. They found it cost them extra money doing all the advertising, hiring out additional venues for the meet and greets. Despite Alex Shane cashing in setting up that initial tour, they found it much cheaper and TV friendly selling a low configuration arena, sell 7,000 initially raising up to 10-15k if needed. These venues can always be increased at a later stage, plus they will probably lower their cost if they have a night to fill. Close bowls, bring the ring forward, just cover the empty sections and darken the unoccupied seats. If filming try and predominantly sell the non floor seats opposite the hard cam. Hire a 4,000 hall and that's you limit.

    Didn't Heyman visit Israel?

Generally anyone with an Israeli stamp in their passport is denied entry, or work permits. Though obviously money talks.

    There's a few things here.

    1. Israel don't stamp your passport, you get a slip of paper attached to your passport. Either keep it for prosperity or throw it in the bin once the plane leaves Tel Aviv.

Although I think it's reciprocated, so he may have problems returning. I've heard of numerous stories questioning why that person visited a certain Country, Saudi must be high upon that list.

Although having said that the area inside the Walls of Jerusalem is split by faith including a Muslim area. Inside there is the Dome on the Rock, I think the second holiest place in Islam. This must be high on the list for many Saudis to make a pilgrimage there.

    2. Some people are allowed to hold two passports from the same Country. The UK allow you to do this. But in the UK this needs to be done through work. If the US is the same WWE would surely be able to obtain one.

I think Australia allow their Citizens two passports so they can navigate issues entering one Country when you have visited another.

    3. This deal was announced during Trumps time in office. I'm sure he has assisted on this. The US has close ties with the Saudis. Vince and Donald are long time besties, any issue and with one phone call to DTrumpz, I'm sure can get easily smoothed over.

    4. Isn't this some pick and choose who they want to appear from one of the main members of the Saudi Royal family. Why have they picked a Jew to headline

America's always been pretty weak on workers' rights

Weak is the understatement. Look into Scientology and the Sea .Org. That is slave labor in the open.

Maybe this is the business model Trumps thinking off when he talks about North Korea's economic growth. They are part way there already.

Twitter thread on crazy Vince stories. Starts with the usual sneezing one but quickly escalates. This Brisco one is my favourite

Vince likes his farts, stunning  how someone so successful can have an issue with coughing for having a lack of self control, but when it comes to farts fill your boots he loves those.

  9. Well I'm glad our seasons over with. I'm just hoping now we are not too doomed in League One. I smell consecutive relegations with the points deductions that will be happening after the fixture cancellation and likely administration. If that's what it take to get us out of debt so be it. I just genuinely hope it's not happening with Bassini. If there's any less professional sounding Chairman I want to know. He sounds like he is being taken for a ride a doesn't realise it. I can smell the potential fleecing that other Chairmen could do the the guy. I can guess where it all went wrong for him at Watford, any Hornets fans feel free to please clue me up. Jim White has in in knots with this interview he willingly gave to talk sport the other day. He chance at buying the club is over, he just doesn't seem to realise it and let go. Like a love struck puppy at the end of a relationship when she's cheating constantly but he doesn't realise it despite how ridiculous the excuse gets.

What's with all the right's by the way. Could be turned into a drinking game, like with the Roxanne song.

  10. If anyone has it what does the Wrestling Album or whichever one it came from say. Surely they have to be accurate with their credits.

    Edit:

Thinking about it around this time there were others that got involved in some Capacity or another. Demolition and Rick Deringer springs to mind. Although I think Johnston gets listed on the credit, which is curious.

  11. I'm not a City fan but much prefer watching them of late after the crap Bolton have served up.

Watched it back and fair enough the first one you can argue wasn't a hand and hit his knee.

Sterlings winner Aguero ran back onside before he made his run. It was cruel to be fair.

Tottenham have Ajax next who have already had two draws with Bayern, beaten Benfica and knocked out both Real and Juve. It's a hard one to call. I would love to see Ajax get to the final just because of the football they have played. It's a shame that half that team will leave in the summer as they look to have something special going.

How long does Erik ten Hag stay there too.

  12. Absolutely crazy game. VAR spoilt one of the all time Champions League classics.,City didn’t deserve to go out. That’s what happens when you don’t take your chances in the first leg. Mental start, four goals in the first ten minutes. For 60’seconds there it was electric when Sterling got his hatrick only to be denied. Anyway I caught Spurs winner there. Someone said there was a handball in the buildup but honestly need to watch it back when I get home.

Rarely watch City as I’m a Bolton fan so just in Europe. But was looking at seeing that Ajax team before it gets dismantled this summer. Saw the Monaco game a few years back and that was something else.

I thought destiny was going to bring Pep’s City against Barcelona in Spain in June. That’s gone now. Can’t see Spurs beating Ajax but the Liverpool vs Barca tie will be an absolute pleasure to watch. Messi, Suarez & Dembele vs Salah, Mane & Firmino. If on defender cam stop Messi, Virgil can.

Is there a better English player at this moment than Sterling? I don’t buy the Kane argument.

  13. Jofra Archer has made the Ireland and Pakistan ODI's but not the preliminary World Cup team. His career to date however has been made up of travelling around the Worlds T20 franchises. The next 50 over game only be his 15th.

At least this way you can see how he adapts to the squad and what his level of durability is. There's a big difference bowling 4 overs to 10, and potentially 20-30 if he makes the test squad later on for the Ashes (which is a real risk).

Sensible move really as he now has a potential of six auditions to force his way into WC squad this summer. If he is half as talented as what people are talking about we will have some player on our hands. If he breaks into the 15 I don't know who gets dropped.

He's started off well. But he needs to be doing that on a regular basis after the last two years. Personally I would make Roy a starter in the Ashes. It's better to get something on the board than have a Jennings get out at 25. No one we have is going to stay in and do a Cook at this moment. I'm of the idea that we need 3 & 4, namely Root to stay in and soften / rub the ball up. Non of our openers can do it. You can always try Bairstow or Butler again. But I've always tended to see Butler as a middle order player who can score quick runs and push the score up.

  15. Does the Mountie and then latterly the Quebeckers count? I loved that jailhouse match followed by the Jacque and Pierres title run.  Loved has dastardly that shock-stick was. Bought it hook line and sinker as a kid. The noise the edited in sounds awful these days listening back. Wonder how anyone in the arena bought it.

Thinking about it loved Men on a Mission from back then too. Oscar's rapping to the ring was immense. Only the face version though. The heel run and King Mabel was absolute gash and I can't think of anything positive about it.

I was around the back of the North Stand waiting for my young 'un who was a mascot coming out, and saw the weasel trying to do a runner. If it does indeed turn out he has smacked Stendel, then surely that has to be him done if football and going by his past record, another stint banged up for him?

Loose cannon was surprised he got that job. Lucked out with Ched Evans papering over the cracks. We nearly signed him but Fleetwood managed to find a way to stop him being recalled (lucky for him because at least Fleetwood are paying him), Barton came straight onto Twitter to goad Bolton and then again that weekend as he scored a brace. After the betting scandal I thought he was done. It seems to be incident after incident with Monsieur Barton and no amount of rehab work has helped him.

He's a poor mans Roy Keane, except no one messed with Keane because he was hard.

    Sorry for the double post...

I've got a family member who plays for Bolton, and the place is completely toxic. I obviously can't go into details, but even though the players are remaining 100% professional and will do until the end of the season, they are having to force themselves to even go into training, such is the mood around the training ground and dressing room. One of the players(who I won't name) has even made an appointment to see a doctor as he feels he is suffering from depression because of how things are.

Andrew Taylor did a BBC interview at the weekend and said something very similar to what your saying.

Why any of them would want to stay next year I don't know. Some may not be performing well but would certainly be extremely useful in League One.

Taylor said that he's worried for some of the senior players who are embarrassed to admit their own personal situations.

Parkinson said his selection for yesterday's game would be based on those mentally capable, that tells you some aren't.

Some will most likely be struggling financially. Most have only moved there recently and have mortgage and rent payments to make.

Very few are making sizeable money now. We have those players where a pay check matters.

Bar your Wheaters, O'Neils, Wilson, , Ameobj and Hobbs. Plus possibly Beavers, Noone, Lowe and Donaldson. I can't see many others who would be settled finically. Those I've only named as they've had either a long career or have spent a few years on a well paying contract.

it doesn't surprise me how they are feeling. I'd be pissed off. Your seeing your friends have financial problems not of their own making.

Whatever way you look at it it's bad, Anderson is a complete arse. He could have paid those wages. Has property in Monaco and Switzerland, and him and Lee bugger off to the Caribbean when he feels like it.

Our head scout (possibly only scout), has not been paid since January and can't afford to put petrol into his car to undertake his match watching duties. On Friday the players paid for their own hotel and the kit was sent up on the club coach. That sums it all up really.

He signed in January for 3 years I think but not certain on the length. See i've got the opposite feeling with Ambrose as I reckon he'll head back to where his wife is but that said I could see them starting a family at some point and that changing things in the short term to who knows.

I know they've kept her on the announce team but I thought Vince had gone cold on Renee. May have got out of bed on the wrong side that day. But her job could be in danger.

Isn't AEW limited dates, at least at first so it so it wouldn't really matter. Renee doesn't do the house show loop so they'll have plenty of time together.

Dean can pretty much name his conditions though can't he. If he's only doing TV, PPV and limited house show and when they start to run. He won't be doing 250 odd days a year anymore.

I'm getting my news off Cultaholic and the like off YouTube. I'm no longer someone who logs into the Newz sites through the day and I've not since 2014. It's easy for things to pass me by.

AJ re-signed, Bryan re-signed Ambrose is taking time off from wrestling and I get the feeling he will come back to the WWE in due course

I know Bryan did, I didn't realise AJ did. How long did he sign for? I'm not sure about Ambrose, he had his frustrations. He'll be back to his best in AEW should he go as he'll have the creative freedom he craves. Would be a wise move. He wasn't happy with his direction so if he reinvents himself, the doors always open at WWE for someone like him. Plus he be on good payday there. I may be wrong, but I just tend to believe that he's going to end up there.

  20. Butch in truth I'm half in to mood if deleting everything. I didn't put my photo up there for mockery.. One stated about it being immoral to state I was in a wheelchair when I actually am, so putting that above picture up.

if someone wants to take the piss out off someone with low self esteem and a wheelchair let them (many on here have the same issues going by the comments), I'm pretty much used to being starred at in it. It is s pretty low person that would do that.

By cardiac arrest that meant I took my own life because I'm struggling being stuck in a chair. I was and still am on Oxycodone (320mg) as I'm in so much pain.

People on here get mental health drugs like Citalopram and prosaic, so others are going through the low esteem, mental health thing. I have to take Pregabalin, Diazepam and Promazine multiple times daily, and a sleeper a night (Zooiclone oit Tamazepam) depends on the anxiety. I took those with the Oxycodone for the OD. I was sectioned for a few weeks.

To post a picture on here took a lot for me to do. There's others I can pass the same comments on.

Look at the moment I'm not in a good place, I've lost contact with a lot of friends and become introverted so was planning on posting on here regularly. Build up my self-esteem a bit and talk about Wrestling.

People go through much worse that is for sure. But someone questioned me about being in a chair so I provided the evidence.

Disability isn't a joke. The government are making it one, but when I was away a few weeks back I wish I could have done so much more than I could. You just try to do your best, it can certainly be limiting.

    Hope that helps a bit.
