  1. Sorry it’s not YouTube. So smooth. https://www.instagram.com/p/CNtAx3wJWps/?igshid=1e13orsjvwu3m

  3. I tried the same app he’s using and it’s incredible. Here’s Mene Gene having been enhanced.
  4. Mene Gene always looked old. Here he is, aged 6.
  5. TIL: Steve Redgrave and Susie Leather off of The Repair Shop are brother and sister.
  6. Sorry to hear about your dad, @DEF , what an incredible legacy to leave. Every right to be proud and every right to include his passing in this thread.
  7. Steph again proving that she has the weirdest little smile ever.
  8. It’s too slick. They must cut out the bits where stuff gets stuck when it drops and they have to go and get the man.
  9. I still haven’t been able to play Outriders, it never seems to authenticate with the servers and just times out. It may be “free” but It’d be nice to at least be able to play it.
  10. @PowerButchiThats me giggling at “willy like an anorexic worm” for the rest of the week.
  11. Essex coast. Everywhere is just so quiet away from the main roads. I’ve noticed fields and parks are horrendously underused, going back several years. Guys I work with are all in Suffolk and are reporting the same. That said, we’re miles away from any big city etc, so maybe not a like-for-like comparison.
  12. I’m genuinely pleased to hear that, truly. Unfortunately, the large parks and fields around our way are always empty except for the odd dog walker. Decent goalposts with nobody in them, a park with a basketball court just up the road is always empty. No idea why, maybe I just live in a very miserable place.
  13. The country, its economy, decades of different governments have all been based around millions of people working in offices up-and-down the country and that’s what the government needs the country to return to. It doesn’t have a plan for anything other than that. If the new “normal” is the majority of people working from home, the economy isn’t geared up to handle that in terms of coffee shops, eateries, pubs, gyms, taxi companies, couriers, child minders etc being needed in smaller quantities, if at all. Even living in a less physically social way will almost certainly have a knock on ef
  14. Only sharing this as amongst all the pain and suffering bought to so many by COVID, it made me smile somewhat. The support group for people who share the same medical condition that caused my wife to shield throughout lockdown have obviously not been able to meet. So they’ve been doing Zoom meetings, and this quarter, had the top consultant in that field as a guest speaker. I luckily happened to be filming the iPad screen when he first came into view. He gave his whole talk like this, not bothering to try and correct his settings. IMG_0173.MOV
