  1. So, TNA just released a BroMans music video and it's got to be the most annoying video ever produced by a wrestling company. Depending on your perspective that makes it either great or horrible. You be the judge:

That has got to be one of the worst thing i have ever seen but works for them as they're meant to be that annoying. DJ Z saying 'Eat, Sleep. Bromans, Repeat' got a laugh out of me.

  2. So out of vague interest, I just had a peek at the Lethal Lockdown bit where Hardy showed up as Willow. From what I can tell, the deal was: Hardy was shut out of the building by Dixie, so Willow, who's had some vignettes on Impact, showed up instead. The thing I have no idea about is whether they're trying to disguise, in storyline terms, the fact that Willow is Hardy. Is it just supposed to be obvious? Because, like, you could see his tats, the dive off the cage was pure Hardy, and he came out to a song that sounded like it was by Hardy's band, with Hardy singing. What's going on here? If it's supposed to be obvious that it's the same guy, is that supposed to hint that Dixie sabotaged her own team or something? Please tell me I missed some massive contextual qualifiers by only watching about five minutes of the show.

It also doesn't help that Taz and Tenay pretty much laughed off the Willow character saying 'You know who that is don't you' and 'I swear i've seen those tattoos before'. Only thing worth watching on that entire show was Storm vs Gunner.

  3. That main event was absolutely brilliant. Raw really needs more moments like that right now.

Agreed. Goldust is fucking spectacular at the moment.

Its a shame that the Orton/Bryan stuff isn't doing anything for me cause i do like them both. The bellas are dreadful, not knowing where orton is only for him to be hiding behind the door when Bryan opened it. Surely they would have seen him there before it opened.

  4. Stephanie was reminiscing with Show about him looking out for her backstage when she was twelve years old. So, 1988. Eleven years before Big Show went to the WWF, seven before he was even wrestling.

I thought that was a little strange. But that's what they're going with i guess.

  5. No, it was just forever. If Sting lost then he can never challenge for the title again. No matter who was the champ. Nice to know that TNA think we're stupid and have forgotten about that.

From the report i've read it just sounds like this episode was a complete cluster fuck and i'm really looking forward to watching it sunday. Although i did read that the Daniels/Aries promo and match were excellent.

  6. A Raw that was only saved by the promos. Didn't think much of the matches. The Natalya/AJ ending was just shocking. Natalya only had the Sharpshooter on for about 5 seconds before letting go. So either AJ was meant to tap straight away or is was meant to be held a little bit longer before she tapped. Either way, they both fucked up. If anything, it hurt Big E as he did diddly in that match.

  7. Would anyone know if there has ever been a match between Prince Devitt and Akira Tozawa?

I don't believe there has, and I've got a fairly good guess as to why. It would be a great match for sure but with neither man really making forays into the other's "home turf" (I think Devitt has wrestled once for Dragon Gate and that's it) then it would have to be put on by a third party promotion, and given their respective standings with Devitt being one of the long-term most pushed guys of New Japan's junior division and Tozawa being one of the aces of Dragon Gate for roughly the same lengthy of time, anyone booking that match would probably have a very tough time convincing either office to book their man in that match and lose.

That's how you end up with shit like heavily promoted 5 minute matches that end by count-out, or you insert Elix Skipper at the last minute to make it a three-way because neither office will let their guy job... :sneaky:

Cheers for the reply. I just wondered as thats a match i could see getting used here rather than in Japan. But you're right, i'm sure both promotions wouldn't want their guy to lose.

  8.

I've given up on Impact so I'm grateful for coming across the reveal on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=cRAdWcfpM_Y

    Hilariously awkward shit.

Thanks for posting that video, i now dont need to watch Impact on sunday. That was the most awkward ending to a wrestling show that i can remember. Anderson sold it like he had fleas. Angle tried his best to look shocked and everyone else just looked brain dead with their mouths wide open. A terrible reveal that (wrestling wise) had zero to do with the promo that came before it.

  9. Just an errant thought. If it does turn out that Kane is goin to be joining the wyatt family does anyone else think he will change his look? Been a while now since he has changed the mask or the horrid attire he is now sporting.

I'd like him to keep the Kane mask but maybe sport some overalls. Or maybe just ditch the kane mask and wrestle in the sheep mask.

  10. EDIT: Cliff Compton just tweeted "I will do the TNA Gut Check for $1,000,000. How about it @TNADixie". He been asked to do it and refused perhaps?

Gut Check is not for ex-WWE guys like Compton. It's for indy people only. This is just a case of Compton being Compton and having some fun on Twitter by making ridiculous statements.

Compton also tweeted that he'd sell CM Punks phone number for $500,000 which cracked me up.
