If you don't have a problem with a man in his 30's trying it on with one of his 16 year old trainees, then you need to re-evaluate your own morals here. 'Legal' or not, it's disgusting behaviour and a massive breach of trust. Would you be thinking the same way if it were your daughter or son being advanced upon by their trainer who's double their age?

Just want to clarify that I in no way whatsoever think that kind if behaviour is acceptable. The one tweet of a guy asking  a  17 year old for a drink and her saying no, with no coercion as far as I could see and no context is all I was really referring to In my previous post.

Whilst I hope every that every abuser gets what's coming to them I don't think it's helpful to lump in blokes who once had a consensual relationship with a 16 year old with the others who appear to literally be raping people. Or is it just me? I'm going through Twitter trying to get myself caught up on everything but for every sickening story I read I'm seeing two or three that come off like minor sexual misadventures.

Maybe a bit insensitive but I do see your point.

People arent going to like it but I dont think someone should be labelled a predator and black balled from the industry for asking a 17 year old to go for a drink with him. Did he know her age? How old was he? Out of co text it's literally a guy asking someone to meet for a drink and them saying no. That's it.

Right, just dropped a bit of LSD. Got some beers, couple gram, bottle of rum, Xannax and some DMT just in case. I am determined to enjoy Wrestlemania one way or another.

I assume you are kidding but if not... Well let me know how it is when you inevitably have to watch it again in a few days.

The Taker stuff was the highlight of a terrible show. It wasnt fantastic or anything, but was good in a cheesy laugh kind of way. Wrestling doesnt work without a crowd, so this shit worked better.

They came out the box so strong that scalpers over bought and messed with predictions a bit. Big shows are always a sell out but Dynamite usually only packs out the side of the arena facing the hard cam. Blood and Guts was going to be their biggest crowd yet with 14000 tickets sold

So are we talking still crowds of a couple thousand for dynamite? Thats tail outselling TNAs  biggest PPVs.Youd think they could book arenas a bit smaller, always looks nice on TV

  5. Headbangers* resurfaced a few years back didnt they? I didnt actually see it but it seemed mad.

Dont think anvil and bulldog were booked to mean  anything and the fa s didnt care as a result. If they were brets lackeys it would have worked out better. I always wondered if there was some legal reason they couldn't recreate the hart foundation

  6. Bulldog again in work boots and jeans in 2000 was a weird one

As much as I hate to say it, Mr Perfects last run felt strange.

WCW had loads of odd guys still around at different times. Marty Janetty, Rick Martel as jobbers/lower carders in WCW in the late 90s

Val Venis and The Nasty Boys in TNA. What was that about?

  7. Yeah they genuinely seemed to be taking off at one point with the video game etc... I guess it was bigger here in the UK than the US. Some of the young lads at my work love Sting and Angke and only saw them in TNA... its fucking weird.

Another wrestling game would be nice hopefully AEW dips into that.

Hell, even an NWA game full of legends would be sweet.

My biggest issue with this is that it's completely impossible to do with a crowd, and I don't think AEW should be doing things in the empty arena that wouldn't be possible in a full/half full arena.

My other issue is the shoddy editing. It looks shit. I'm sure some kids think it's great, but is my intelligence being insulted? Am I supposed to believe Hardy is teleporting? With my educated adult brain?

This is the first time AEW has out and out disappointed me.

Surely it was intentionally bad? For comedic purposes? Has to be.

TNA at it's peak drew nearly as many viewers as Raw does now.

I dare say if they didnt fuck up the Spike deal they would have still been #2, maybe even grown. I'm sure they outdrew the UFC shows on Spike.

The ratings never seemed to translate to people buying tickets, though.
