Remember an interview with necro butcher on the difference between iwa and czw fans. Something along the lines of IWA fans liked watching sick stuff but hoped no-one got badly fucked up. Whereas the czw boys bought their ticket desperate to see someone get properly fucked up.

As far as writing off the storylines in a tod, you can make the same arguments re the royal rumble to a degree. It's a spectacle, people enjoy the spots, people will have favourites they cheer and stuff will intwine into it from previous stories, but you can make an argument alot are just there to see the cool stuff happen.

What's the attendances like for czw these days? TOD and other events as well, have they dropped off significantly since a peak a while ago? Or are they still pulling in similar numbers.

Jack did some sick bumps as well to be fair, but he had no real character to go with it.

Necro genuinely seemed like a crazy manson wannabe psychopath from the deep south, seeing him do interviews where he was a semi-normal human being was a shock (like the first time you saw a foley interview post him being jack for years) whereas thumbtack seemed like a german teenager that was a bit of a twat and would do stupid stuff, and when you see an interview that's exactly what he was.

Necro's character, that's what really made him to my mind.

He seemed, into it's probably the best word. He didn't just stand out by doing weird needle shit (like thumbtack jack) he took the sickest, nastiest bumps and shots and made it seem like a real fight. Plus his pleasing worked "I'll just punch you straight in the face" punches were awesome.

I know he left roh a while back, and I can see why he'd step away from doing the dm stuff, but for me he was by far the best since foley (at least in north america) for crazy shit like that. He had a proper character for it as well, which alot of the other guys seem to miss.

But what about his choose death t-shirt? And approach?

Necro butcher, I know he's still working but seems to have left the death matches alone. Which is a real shame, as his presence in a an utod, or kotdm always raised it above just sick spots to something really special. (Plus his spots were often sicker than any other cunt).

Anyone know why he stopped? Or what he's up to now?

True dat, as grim as it looks scars heal, so as much thumtacks and barbed wire get pushed into peoples heads, it's not doing the same damage as chair shots to the head or repeated back bumps on hard surfaces. It just looks alot more gruesome.

Does Necro Butcher still do these? Used to enjoy his stuff, not just because he was a sick ol fuck, but he seemed to have better matches than most of them as well.

But I rarely see his name on these anymore.

It's not that odd, he's in Europe, so he'll be dealt with under european law.

As for Clarkson? People like him, so he keeps getting work, not a major mystery.

Could be wrong but I reckon Labour might actually be being a bit clever here, the election won't come till may 2015, they know that. And under the tories the deficits getting worse, loads of public services are getting cut, unemployments going up. But if they start really hammering em now, they've got to keep up that pressure (and suggest alternatives, which they clearly don't want to do) for the next 3 years odd.

Whereas if they hold back a bit, let everything continue to fall apart under tories, then really attack from late 2012, they have a good chance of getting back in.

Lib dems will be utterly fucked in the next election, which will bring it to almost a straight choice between labour and tories. I could see labour getting a slight majority and then being propped up by what's left of the lib dems.
