  1. Cheers chaps. Nice to know I'm not the only one who is still masking up. I'm still unsure if I even want to go to anything despite having a lot of upcoming gigs but no way in hell I won't be wearing a mask if I do go.

  2. A Covid related gig question here. How are people finding returning to live events? I personally haven’t been to a show since February 2020 so I’m feeling some trepidation about dipping my toes in again. I’m feeling like I need to just take the plunge soon. I’ve got Chuck Ragan on the 1st May and Tool the following evening. Are people being considerate at shows? Anybody masking up?

  3. I have the following (individually priced) blu rays for sale. All come in proper blu ray cases with high quality printed covers. I imagine it's very hard to get hold of any of these now as Rudo Reels largely went into hiding and it's next to impossible trying to log into his website these days. All prices inc postage.

NJPW World Pro Wrestling Classics - Tomohiro Ishii Special (£10) - vs Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinsuke Nakamura, Togi Makabe, Tetsuya Naito, Katsuyori Shibata and more.

BJW Jan-April 2016 (£12) - features the following complete shows 1/2/16, 1/24/16, Korakuen Appreciation Day, Ikkitousen Strong Climb Day 1, Ikkitousen Day 7, Ikkitousen Day 8, Ikkitousen Day 9, Ikkitousen Day Block A and Block B Specials 4/15/16 and 4/22/16, 4/29/16.

DDT April-June 2016 (£12) - features the following complete shows Dramatic Archives #13, Max Bump 2016, Dramatic Archives #14, Road to Ryogoku in Sapporo, Friendship, Effort and and Victory in Nagoya, DDT Audience 2016, King of DDT 2016 Osaka, Dramatic Archives #15, King of DDT 2016 Tokyo.

Give me a shout if you'd like to know anything. Thanks!

  4. What's the score with Glory in the UK? I'd like to get into it more but they don't make it easy for us. When I had Fight Pass I was just getting 'blackout' messages due to region when I'd try to watch their recent shows. Are they exclusive to FITE now? £23.99 is pretty absurd.

  5. Right then, I've been informed of One Piece. All 900+ episodes of it.

Has anybody tackled this? I've looked at a few 'how to watch' guides on it as there's a lot of filler but like a lot of these things there's different takes on what is and isn't essential viewing. Does anybody have any advice?

ahh i remember he did those shows, i never went. I did see do his onelinedrawing thing with Funeral for a Friend though. Look at this for a lineup:

Funeral for a Friend, The Haunted, onelinedrawing, Million Dead.

odd one, i think it was a one off in Newport.

You ever listen to any other Jonah stuff? really liked New End Original and Gratitude.

That's a mental line up! What year was that? Reminds me of a show I saw in 2004 that was Thursday/Million Dead/Aerogramme/onelinedrawing.

I'm pretty much a Jonah fan boy. New End is my favourite thing he's ever done and Gratitude isn't far behind.

you may be right, the last time i saw Deftones headline their own show was in '98 😄 i did have tickets to the Wembley Arena show around Gore time though but it got cancelled after the Bataclan shooting 😔

    great band.

I wonder how far back the Wxw stuff goes or will go?

It's on the Highspots Network 🙂

  9. In yet more shitty 2020 news, Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon has been accused by three women of sexual misconduct. I'm absolutely gutted by this. He's responsible for some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. This comes on a week where I've been listening to his music just about every day and reading his latest book. He's always had a bit of a rep for being a bit of a grouchy arsehole but I hoped that's all he was. I've spent the week thinking he comes off really well in this book and that people have him all wrong. Oh dear. I guess, yet again, it just shows how somebody appears and how they really are are two very different things.

  10. This may come off a little weird as I am a fan of his and I am actually rooting for him to win on Saturday but does anyone feel like Till’s UFC run has been a little overrated thus far? He beat a Cowboy that looked like he only showed up for a quick paycheck, won a controversial decision over Wonderboy in a largely uneventful affair, annihilated by Woodley, KO’d by Masvidal, beat Gastelum by sticking to a smart but fairly safe gameplan. Admittedly they’re all top flight talent but it just seems like we’re still waiting to see his full potential despite the hype train. If he comes out and obliterates Bobby on Saturday, ignore this post.
