That's what a wrestling show is all about. Wonderfully paced, built all the way through and delivered some truly incredible moments alongside the action.

Based on this I'm fairly sure the next PROGRESS show will sell out ten minutes before it goes on sale.

They all sell out in under 5 minutes nowadays. I'm going to have to get a season ticket for next year

    Good. Freaking. Lord.

Today's show was insane. The London Riots are no more. Pete Dunne is a mental case. Keith Lee is a beast. Oh, and TK Cooper and Dahlia Black returned.

I'm off for a lie down.

Yeah, after a slow first few matches, it hit lift off after the Riots match and never came down. A Great show, one of the most emotional ones since April's when TK, Dahlia and Paul Robinson all left!

  5. I like Gibson a lot, but im fine with him as the strong mid card heel. Pete dunne and BSS are much better as the main heels for now.

Im resigned to James Drake beating the much better morgan webster and being in SSS16. Im hoping he wont get too far in, only so much of his generic style i can take.

The likes of Robinson, Gibson, Cruz, Sebastian, Ospreay, the Power Trip before they were baby-faced and of course BSS get great heat.

I don't get that "no real heel heat" comment at all. Progress is basically the only place I still see proper face v heel dynamics within the crowds on the regular. Scurll is basically not a heel. I adore the guy (and there ya go) but he could be the worst heel ever in his current form

James Drake at best gets "well I'll give him a half-arsed thumbs down cos he's got a mardy face on I guess" heat. But it's good that fans keep talking about him in spite of that, maybe he can take it somewhere further and become a good act.

oh yeah, he has shown a lot more personality on social media than he has ever done wrestling!

The James Drake hate amuses me. The Progress Fan Facebook page is full of, 'I don't get James Drake, he doesn't do high spots and he doesn't jaw at the crowd!'

He's getting his heat, you're not supposed to think he's a cool guy, he's there to stop your favourites popping you. He's doing a bloody good job as well.

The funniest thing to me, is that a lot of the people who 'don't get' Drake lose their shit over Haskins who is basically Generic Grunge Babyface whilst Drake is Generic Grunge Heel. I'm a fan of both guys but the disparity amongst the fans is hilarious.

I suppose a big problem is that no one in Progress has really had proper heel heat in the last year. Marty did as much to pop the crowd as a babyface would and even Gibson who gets the shit booed out of him, gets it in a tongue in cheek, 'We're booing the panto villain' way.

Id say Paul robinson (bye robbo) and british strong style get proper heel heat.

haskins has had consistently good matches over the last year. James drake just seems generic and boring. His heat sections are dull and he doesnt have any good big moves.

Hope not. If Brookes is teaming with anyone it's Lykos, far better dynamic and a lot more entertaining. I want and expect to see Banks going for the World title. Banks, if he isn't already, will be the biggest face in the company over the next few months

    British Strong Style vs CCK

I have a horrible feeling Drake will beat Webster to get in. Annoyingly, Drake is as dull as ditchwater.

Next up is actually the Manchester show in 2 weeks time, and apparently Jeff Cobb and David Starr have both accidentally already announced themselves as part of SSS16

    Yeah, they accidentally confirmed it!

Matt Riddle is wrestling earlier in the week in Birmingham, so I'm guessing he will be in it as well.

The final chapter show in Camden before Super Strong Style 16 is on Sunday.. it's one of those where the line-up doesn't look great on paper, but that probably means something crazy will happen.

The British Strong Style vs Ringkampf 6-man main event with both the PROGRESS singles and tag titles on the line should be excellent at the very least.

I think the main event, Mark Andrews vs Mark Haskins and last SPPT tag match for a while should be good.
