    Time

Fantastic gritty drama from Jimmy McGovern, probably his best work since Cracker in my opinion.  I had been waiting for this one ever since I heard it was being filmed. It didn't disappoint.

Also an outstanding performance from Sean Bean.

I would like to 2nd this, gripping and a tough watch in a few places. Boiling sugar in a kettle... Owch

    Bean was great.

Just watched the Jericho Broken Skull Sessions episode; a really interesting watch

It's a good insight into some of his wwe career, and they name check AEW a hell of a lot. Kind of amazing Vince said yes.

You don't get many Mini Eggs in any of the packs anymore. Those cardboard tubes that they do contain about 7 Mini Eggs in total

I've been "forced" to buying the family bag

    And eating all of them...

I’m on a diet at the moment so I’m trying to keep the Easter eggs to a minimum. My other half’s family come round today and say they didn’t get me an egg because of the diet, but instead got me....

a massive tub of mini eggs?! 😄

I know someone who bought one of them.. You'll be disappointed when you open it.. There's hardly any eggs inside

This is exactly what my tory loving Landlady said to me a few weeks ago..

See if you can get a raisin before you go! But seriously, what price do you put on your own happiness and well-being. Hope it works out well for you!

  8. I've been a chef for 24 years, and have been at my current job for 16 of them. I did really enjoy it. The Garden centre I worked in was sold 12 years ago from the owner who had grown it from a small rose farm to a big garden centre group, they sold it in 2018 to the 3rd biggest garden group. I've been hating it lately which has not been helped by being on furlong for 4 months. We have 2 restaurant on site and I've run one of them on my own for the past 4 years. Slowly the people I work with have left as it can be awful at times and the people I work with are cunts. I've been left on my own with no help.  I feel this has been my fault as I haven't stuck up for my self at times but also the other head chef is a asshole. My attitude has been at times to 'just get on with it"

I've just been offered a job working in the garden centres Nursery.. Its pretty labour entensive but it does come with working office hours. 4 and a half days a week and every weekend off. Plus every bank holiday and 2 weeks off at Christmas. Coming from a job where you work pretty much that. I won't have to deal with customers any more and stress should be at a minimum. It may be a pretty big drop in salary too but a former restaurant manager is currantly working there and is 3 quarters of a way she said to getting me what my salary currantly is. It's pretty much no brainer. Let's hope my formar manager can sort that out for me. Fingers crossed.

If anyone here is a Shudder subscriber then I would strongly recommend In Search of Darkness, a documentary on 80's Horror. At just over 4 hours, it covers a lot of ground. Dozens of films are covered, some well known, some not so much. Talking heads include John Carpenter, Stuart Gordon, Joe Dante and Larry Cohen.

Will be watching the Tom Savini documentary next.

I watched it over 2 nights the past few days, its amazing. So good. There's a part 2 that has been filmed too

  10. A few normal people will get rich of this, I'm for all it! Will it make a difference in the long run? Nope..

This is all perfectly legal too... And as so as us normal folk start doing it the rich billionaires.. MP's etc shut it down...

Seeing Fox stuff on Disney Plus is good. Will Alien and Predator movies be made under Disney? I doubt it personally.

Rumours that the new alien TV show may come on Disney+

Also, Disney have said the new script that's being written for deadpool 3 is R Rated.

    Got a recipe?

500g firm or extra firm tofu (pressed for at least 30 minutes)

    3 to 4 tablespoons cornstarch

1 litre of oil (or amount needed for frying)

Garnish: Moldon Sea salt and dried chilli flakes

Press it between 2 oven trays  with something heavy on top, I used massive baked bean tins at work.

Then coat in corn starch and fry in batches with the oil at about 180c

Drain well on kitchen paper.  Salt it while still hot too.

I wasn’t aware of Maddie Moate until the previous page and then she just appeared on BBC Breakfast. To echo @garynysmon, I turned into my dad as I thought how refreshing it was seeing somebody really naturally attractive who didn’t have the silly lips and eyebrows that seem to be very much a thing on TV nowadays. The big lips thing that seems to be fashionable amongst many of what I’d assume to be ITV2/Be/TikTok-inspired really makes my stomach churn.

    I googled her... 👍
