  1. Anyone who's seen episodes such as, 'Grannies', 'Shadowlands', 'Bike', 'Sleepytime', 'Dance Mode', 'Sleepover', and others, must accept the pure brilliance, the majestic comedy timing, character work, the breathtaking gravitas that Bluey has in spades. It's a cartoon for all ages, everyone, everywhere. The music alone deserves some award or other.

How easy is it to keep to? Are the recipes easy to make?

The workouts, (4-5 per week, 25-35 mins) have been fine. From some time being semi-active, to feeling energised enough to be looking forward to each workout, and seeing physical change over a short period of time, has been very positive for me.

The recipes have been occasionally repetitive, but largely enjoyable. I'm a vege, so that cut down some of the variety. The initial outlay for ingredients is more expensive than our regular shop, but I've enjoyed spending more time in the kitchen, and cutting right back on snacks, which has always been my downfall. I'll eat when I'm bored. I'm not hungry, but I'll still eat, because it's there. I've mostly stopped that now, entirely some weeks, and when I do treat myself to a beer or few crisps, it seems warranted, rather than simply habit.

I think there's a free week trial at the moment, so well worth a look. The wife is about to sign up too. I was never slim, or in shape, as anyone who saw my old matches will attest, but at 43 years old, I'm really enjoying taking control over how I look for once. The app has helped.

  3. Anyone tried the Body Coach app? I'm enjoying it, and more importantly, sticking to it. I'm currently on cycle (month) three, and have noticed significant changes, to weight, measurements, sleep and energy levels. I can't compare it to anything else, as it's the only regime I've stuck to, but I recommend it, so long as his voice doesn't grate too much.

  4. If I'm being optimistic, I'm thinking that WWE are saving all their big, explosive feuds, their excellently well-written TV aimed at well rounded, blow off, PPV's, for the return of the audience, and that they're currently simply treading water until that time.

If I'm feeling less optimistic, (see rational) I'm thinking that WWE are a sinking ship, with no energy for creativity, and that has produced nothing I've found entertaining for a few years now. Or very little.

  5. I’m In a quandary; I grabbed the huge Dune, all singing and dancing audiobook this weekend, twenty odd hours of the stuff. I’ve somehow never seen Dune, although it’s my sort of thing, so I was looking forward to this. I’m an hour or so in, and it’s dull, very dull. I’m not sure whether to persevere, or move on. Any fans about?

  6. I rarely threw kicks requiring a thigh-slap when I trod the boards, but it's genuinely a difficult habit to resist, especially if you've worked for years, and chucked a zillion thigh-slappers into your daily routine. If I have to kick open a door, even now, because my hands are full, I still feel the pull to lay skin-to-skin. There should be a help-line.

  7. My youngest, (20 months) has learned how to ask Alexa to play his two favorite songs, ('Shake, Shake, Senora' & 'La Bamba') and it's simultaneously terrifying, cute and annoying, but he's teaching me plenty of new dance moves, so he's forgiven. If the fucker could only begin sleeping...

  8. I'm sad that there's been no, 'One Ted Falls Out of Bed' love thus far. It's an epic, every-man adventure y'all!

My 9-year old has graciously passed down all his picture books to his 17-month old brother, and we're all reliving a great many Donaldson's.
