  1. I just grabbed a few bits from the local Tesco and as I was walking down the dairy aisle there was an old chap with a bit of a look of Dr Shipman with a basket of shopping.

He reached up to the top shelf of the yoghurt shelf to grab some of those posh Danone's in a glass jar. He lost his grasp of the multipack and instinctively tried to catch his dropping produce into his shopping basket.

But he had a bit too much force in his forward motion and whacked the shelf with a massive donk which was enough for the shelf to dislodge from the bracket. Cartons of pasteurized cow juice was scattered right across the aisle.

  2. I have just got back from a poker night and 12.30am it was 28C in my car. This is in Teesside where it barely makes 30C in the strongest of heatwaves.

The wife picked the wrong week to get the bathroom suite changed. i cant jump in the shower until Friday evening and I am strongly contemplating filling the kids paddling pool up and lay in it for an hour.

  3. Whenever I have been to Stratford I have parked at the Westfield and got my parking validated at Aspers Casino. I am not sure if they offer this service when there is an event at London Stadium but it might be worth checking it out.

well. thats made me want to see a Braun/Drake tag team more than anything in the world.

I like that but I would hold it off for a year. When they eventually win the tag straps the next night on Raw you could have a backstage skit with Nicholas towering over Drake complaining "You picked him over me!"

  5. This calls for a reboot of Celebrity Deathmatch, but instead of claymation we get the actual celebs to 'get it on'.

I would pay good money to see a card of:

    Tom Cruise vs Justin Bieber

    Piers Morgan vs James Blunt

    Jamie Oliver vs Gordon Ramsey

Jay-Z and Beyonce vs Kanye and Kim

Why does the Nations league have a 3rd place game? UEFA don't normally do them, there isn't one in the Euros for instance, or the Champions League for that matter. It's normally a FIFA thing, for the World Cup I can accept it but they have one for the Confederations Cup and the World Club Championship which is just stupid IMO.

As well as the Nations Leagues finals this weekend  there is also Euro 2020 qualifiers. I think the logic is that if the teams were not competing in the Nations League then they would have had two matches over the weekend. The Nations League finalists are all in a group of 5 while all the other groups have six teams so it would accommodate for this weekend.

It is a bit hard to arrange an international friendly with 72 hours notice so I am guessing that explains the 3rd place playoff.
