Right somebody may be able to help me with this. Just before the new millennium there was a program presented by a kid dressed in a suit about entertainment over the millennium or something. It was promoted with loads of adverts on BBC (I think) with this kid walking through loads of different cartoons and films or whatever, stuff like the Magic Roundabout and Narnia. Can anyone remember what this program was called and how I'd be able to get hold of some of the adverts? Dunno why this suddenly popped into my head but I'm feeling nostalgic.

What's the best way to download Youtube videos? Have seen a few free sites that apparently offer it but I'm a bit apprehensive to download anything in case of viruses, so any recommendations would be appreciated.

You can download Freemake, which someone on here recommended a while back. Allows you to just paste the YouTube URL in and it converts it to the video format of your choice. I've used it a few times and it's a cracking bit of software.

This is a website so you don't have to download anything. Been using this for years and it's a belter. Just post the Youtube URL in the window and it gives you an option to download the video in a variety of formats.

My iPod seized up on me completely on Friday. I tried doing the menu/centre button reset and all I'm getting is the Apple logo. I had a look at the Apple online help and it tells me I have to use iTunes to try and do and factory reset, but iTunes isn't even recognising it when I hook it up. Anyone got any more tips I can try before I have to go and ask some smug Apple-tosser to fix it for me? I mean, great design and user-friendly and all that, but they're a bitch when anything goes wrong.

I want to post something to a friend overseas however I don't want the package to be delivered to their house but to be held at a local post office (or similar type place) and for them to go and pick it up. Any of you fine people know how easy it is to do this? I'm sure it's possible but I'm unsure how to go about it.

RealPlayer downloads youtube videos these days, too. If you have the latest version installed, you'll get an icon popping up whenever you watch a video on there asking if you want to download it. Just click on that, and it's done.
