I've typed mine up, just need to add the pretty pictures. But i really can't be fucked with that right now as my machine is slow as shit and it will take forever. But i also know nobody will bother with it without them. So i will either do that early hours of this morning or tomorrow morning if that's ok? Pretty sure i've annihilated the word limit too, it's quite difficult to keep to that when you've got to cover a years worth. Shall i PM you a draft Nick to see if it's acceptable before bothering with the final edit, just in case it's not?

Pictures are recommended but not essential. How far over is it? Think I said no more than an extra 200?

I gotta be fair to all my bookers yo, if you really can't cut it down to size then you'll probably lose a panel point or two. Feel free to send the draft though, and well done for getting it in!

No worries. I'll give it a go.

Taking it as read that the situation in TNA at the minute is as follows:

Jeff Hardy - World Champ

Devon - TV Champ

Roode/Aries - Tag Champs (I thought they were feuding!?)

RVD - X division champ

Tara - Knockouts Champ

Eric Young/ODB - Knockouts Tag Champs (WAHT)

Coming up to Lockdown, and the main event is Aces and Eights (Devon, Gallows under his new name, Mr Anderson and Mike Knox) versus Team TNA (Sting, Bully Ray, Hogan and ????). We've also got a tag match between Roode/Aries and Chavo/Hernandez, Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe in a Cage for the World Championship, RVD v Rockstar Spud, and then ODB v Tara for the Knockouts Championship.

Lockdown

ODB beats Tara for the Knockouts Championship, and whilst she celebrates, Eric Young jumps into the ring and hugs her. They announce that they are now the most dominant couple in the history of Impact Wrestling, and no-one can beat them. Eric vows to take the TV championship when he gets the chance. Meanwhile, Roode and Aries absolutely destroy Chavo and Hernandez, celebrating and posing like hell. RVD beats Rockstar Spud, and Jeff retains against Samoa Joe. So we move onto the main event of Lockdown, and it's Aces and Eights versus Team TNA.

The two teams come out, but Team TNA's fourth is nowhere to be seen. That said, they're fired up, and Team TNA get off to a good start, with Bully Ray beating the shit out of Mr Anderson, tagging in Hogan for the Leg Drop and victory. Hogan is then jumped by Knox and Gallows as Devon directs from outside the ring. Sting and Bully Ray attempt to get involved, but Taz jumps in and interferes, throwing both of them out as Hogan is pinned. Following this, Team TNA is in bad shape, with Sting getting a beating as Knox and Gallows tag in and out frequently, eventually ending in them tagging Devon in for the pin on Sting. This leaves Bully Ray alone against the three of them. Taz attempts to get involved again, but this time Hogan manages to stop him, having recovered from his beating. Despite this, Gallows, Devon and Knox are decimating Bully Ray. Then, the music hits. No-one sees this one coming as he makes his way to the ring.

436px-Chris_Masters_Tribute_to_the_Troops_2010.jpg

He tags himself in, and levels Knox with a clothesline. He then picks him up and locks in the Masterlock. Knox tries to power out, but he's no match for Masters. The ref taps him out. 2 v 2. Devon tries to attack Masters from behind, but he barely gets the upper hand as the Masterpiece turns around and levels him with a punch. By this time, Bully Ray has recovered, and the two of them clean house, first pinning Gallows, then an improvised version of a 3D by the two of them on Devon knocks him out. Masters and Bully Ray shake hands as the show ends.

Impact the next night

Hogan comes out and tells the Aces and Eights that they are now fighting for their jobs. If they lose their individual matches tonight, they will be fired. Knox and Anderson are defeated by Masters and Sting respectively, but Devon beats Bully Ray, and Gallows beats Hogan with a massive interference by Taz. The Aces and Eights are more or less beat though, and Devon decides it

Ok, so I've been a bit under the kosh time wise, and I had a lack of ideas for this, hopefully it is reasonable, if not a bit rushed.

Believe in the Shield

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have attacked a whole host of WWE names since their call-up to the main roster. They've been booked solidly but we haven't seen them in any actual matches yet, nor have we seen any real character progression apart from the same old triple powerbomb attacks and the odd grimey promo backstage.

Book their road to Wrestlemania.

Try and give emphasis on expanding their individual characters.

Royal Rumble

During the WWE championship match between The Rock and CM Punk The Shield interfere under the cover of darkness. However, Vince Mcmahon comes out to reverse the decision, but before he can The Shield hit the ring and give Vince the triple powerbomb while Punk and Heyman laugh. The Rock recovers and tries to make the save but as he attacks The Shield, Punk takes him out with a GTS and they all celebrate as the ppv goes off the air.

The-shield-attack-the-rock.jpg

The next night on Raw The Shield come out to start the show. Dean Ambrose grabs the microphone, but Roman Reigns asks to speak first. Reigns explains that their previous actions had been about injustice, but what happened at the Royal Rumble was personal. Reigns outlines his family connection to The Rock, explaining that when he was coming up he wanted help and advice, but The Rock was too busy filming movies. Ambrose takes the mic and explains that he saw how The Rock was with development guys, treating them like crap. Rollins gets really angry and starts going off on The Rock.

However, out comes The Rock.

He is selling his injuries, and he is angry. He comes own and starts taunting the three men, before he runs down to the ring and starts wailing on all 3, but CM Punk runs in and helps them beat him down. However, Punk still claims he and Heyman had not employed The Shield, and are merely taking advantage of the situation

mrmcmahon_288x288.jpg

Vince Mcmahon hobbles down to the ring, and says he smells what The Rock is cooking, but he also smells something else. Collusion. He makes a re-match between Punk and The Rock for the title at Elimination Chamber...in the chamber with The Shield locked in the chambers. However, in the interest of fairness, The Rock will take on each of the members of The Shield in the weeks before the PPV, and if any one of them can beat him, they will get a spot in the match for the title.

Over the next few weeks The Rock takes on each member of the Shield.

Week 1: Dean Ambrose

Before the match, Ambrose cuts a promo explaining everything that is wrong with the situation with The Rock, showing his personality and explaining why he will beat The Rock.

After a competitive match, The Rock gets the decisive win. After the match Reigns and Rollins hit the ring, but The Rock chases them off.

I'm never going to whittle the word count down on this. My problem at first was finding the time and starting, and now it's cutting it all down. I realise the deadline's been and gone now anyway. I'm sorry to have wasted a position on here rather than passing it onto someone else. I thought I'd find the time earlier and sort it and when I did, I've come up with something way too long.

EDIT: Reading mine back, I think it was too convoluted anyway and Callum was likely to beat me.

Good luck to everyone.

Thanks folks! Forrest is having techie problems and ShortOrderCook joined late to the party so he's got a teeny tiny extension. As for the rest of you 'orrible lot...

court%20hammer1(11).jpg

Sorry folks, that's your lot! After two weeks, we need to keep this thing rolling.

Do we get to know what the scoring system is, or is that tippy-top secret? Are you rating us out of five Smug Bischoffs? Ten Squeaky Voiced Sapolskys? A hundred Alex Shane Plucked Eyebrows?

As there are more panel members this year, the idea is to get them to vote on the matches, then the votes get tallied and hey presto, we have our winner. Speaking of which, I'll be contacting the panel members now to get their feedback. Results will hopefully come in within a day or two, then we'll get the second round going!

Thanks to all of you for submitting. For those who didn't/couldn't, sorry but thanks for showing an interest.

BALLS! Can I chuck mine in now?

If not, fuck it, I am.

I'm a soldier, have I told ya?

Book Big E's turn on Dolph Ziggler

What happens with AJ?

BACKGROUND: TONIGHT – Del Rio defeats Big Show, Show KO’s him after. Dolph cashes in the case. Jericho wins the Chamber.

RAW comes around and Ziggler’s bragging. He and AJ make out in the ring because people just hate that but Jericho comes out and tells Dolph he’ll pay for being a right knob to him before. He tries to get to Ziggler but Big E does his bodyguard bit and tells Y2J his name’s not down so he’s not coming in. Vickie comes out and says she can tell Jericho wants action so books him against Big E later on. Meanwhile Dolph has a match up next – against Ryback.

Ziggler tries to fight off Ryback but can’t. As AJ distracts the ref, Big E attacks. However, Ryback kicks out of a Zigzag and nobbles Dolph with the Meathook. AJ gets in to put herself between Ryback and Dolph but turns round and slaps Dolph mildly on the bum. The ref has to DQ Ryback, making Ziggles the winner. He yells ‘UNDEFEATED CHAMPION!’ as they help him to the back.

Later, Big E faces Y2J and eats a Codebreaker but rolls out of the ring. Jericho puts him back but E cuts him off. He has it won and sets up the Big Ending but Dolph races in and clocks Jericho with the belt. E is visibly irate at losing but Zigs doesn’t notice as he’s putting the beatdown on Jericho. At this point Del Rio chases them off, vowing to reclaim the title before Mania.

SmackDown’s main event is Langston/Ziggler vs. Del Rio/Jericho. Langston has the match won with the Big Ending on Jericho but Dolph tags himself in and minutes later taps to Alberto’s cross armbreaker. AJ comforts Big E who looks pissed.

On RAW, Big E chats to AJ backstage about how he should’ve won on Friday. She has her hair braided red, yellow and green. Later, Langston squashes Zack Ryder for a five-count. Ziggler has the night off.

SmackDown and RAW bring successive five counts for Big E, against Alex Riley and Mason Ryan. Del Rio is a guest on SmackDown’s Highlight Reel and states that he will have his rematch on Main Event next week. Worse for Ziggler, it’s a Last Man Standing Match, which Del Rio has won two of this year.

At Main Event, Del Rio has Ziggler out for the count after lobbing him through a table but Big E picks him up just in time for 9. Our man hits the Big Ending on the challenger but Ricardo slaps Big E and scarpers with Langston chasing, leaving Ziggler exposed. AJ pops up to give Albertoooooo a whack in the nads and Ziggler lobs the steps on top of him to keep him down for ten.

The following RAW, Ziggler berates Big E for deserting him when he needed him and leaving him exposed. AJ stands up for him, still wearing the coloured braids. Ziggler is booked against Orton on SmackDown! by Booker T, and wins this thanks to Big E again. Jericho attacks Dolph soon after.

RAW is WrestleMania Rewind because fuck it, they do it every year. Jericho faces Christian but Dolph interferes with Langston and AJ in tow. Teddy Long comes out to make it a TAG TEAM MATCH, PLAYA’. Big E dominates Jericho but he gets to Christian, so Langston tags out. Once Christian is subdued, Big E calls to Dolph to get back in, but Ziggler won’t tag out. The Show Off is too busy showing off and Y2J gets back in. Dolph looks for the tag but Langston leaves and worse still, AJ, after much deliberation, goes with him.

Ziggler opens SmackDown alone, saying Jericho won’t get the best of him and that he will fix this right now. He calls out Big E who comes out with AJ, to Dolph’s surprise. Ziggler says ‘despite your recent incompetence, I’m willing to forgive and forget’. Langston is pissed and drops Dolph, to major ovation. He walks out and despite looking regretful, AJ leaves with him again. Later that night, Chris Jericho/Sheamus defeat Ziggler/Orton when Jericho pins Ziggler with the Codebreaker.

Last RAW before Mania and it’s the Highlight Reel with Big E Langston. Jericho calls the big man out and says he’s glad that he finally stood up for himself; he’s proved he doesn’t need to show off to succeed. Langston says nothing but this brings Dolph out who says that he will show off as much as he likes, especially on Sunday when retaining his title over Jericho. As for Big E…

“SHUT UP!

You know what, Dolph? I’ve been looking out for your ass since Day 1 that I got on RAW. I am bigger, stronger and better than you. What will happen this Sunday is on you, because right now, I know exactly where I am, and that’s…”

“STOP!”

AJ rushes to the ring and puts herself in between Langston and Ziggler. She begs them not to fight and to think about all they’ve accomplished. Jericho interrupts and tells E not to listen to her, at which point Langston turns and WALLOPS Jericho with a vicious clothesline before hitting the Big Ending. He nods at AJ whilst Ziggler pushes his title into a flat-out Jericho’s face, declaring that he was too caught up in the drama and that Y2J will never take what is his.

20121015_EP_LIGHT_WM-economy_C-homepage_zps4d57f715.jpg

Jericho and Ziggler open the show. AJ and Langston accompany Dolph to the ring and their unit seems stronger than ever. After a quick back and forth lasting ten to fifteen minutes, Jericho has the match won with the Walls of Jericho, but AJ distracts the referee to allow Langston to break up the submission. Jericho follows Big E to the edge of the ring and yells at him as he puts his arm around AJ, but Ziggler capitalises, nailing the Zig Zag and retaining the belt.

After the match, AJ gets the mic and congratulates Dolph, but then, hand in hand with Big E, says she has something to tell him...

“Our plan worked perfectly baby” and she NAILS Langston with a kick to the balls. She giggles as Dolph says ‘Did you think I was stupid? Did you think I didn’t know what you were going to do? I knew you wanted me to win so you could take my girl then take my title! Well you will NEVER get my girl and you will NEVER get my title! You aren’t even in my LEAGUE!” He drops the mic on top of Big E as the evil couple leave, hand in hand with the title still in grasp.

From here I see a logical chase with Big E getting his revenge on AJ and Dolph, culminating in a big victory somewhere down the line – perhaps even for the World Heavyweight Title.

I'm guessing you were sorting yours out while I made that post, so fair cop, I'll let you squeeze in through the back door. If I remember (I deleted your pm) but you'd said you'd had connection troubles too, so I'll allow it on those grounds. Your opponent seems to have vanished anyway!

Topic wouldn't let me reply because of shitty Bleacher Report images, so here it is. I had the Batista bracket as you can guess.

It's the first Raw after the showcase of the immortals! Wrestlemania 29 is in the books. John Cena has defeated The Rock to become the NEW WWE Champion and, amongst other things, Antonio Cesaro has retained the United States Championship knocking off some non-sophisticated midcarder. Cesaro is quite pleased by this and makes his way out to rub it in that he is still the UNITED. STATES. CHAMPION. And yes, there is arm thrusts. Cesaro cuts a promo about how he is the greatest United States champion and that no American can defeat him, WHEN SUDDENLY
