You didn't like these sitcoms. At all. Although, in a few cases, you also really liked them. Ahh, the fickle sitcom tastes of the UKFF.

79 different sitcoms were voted for.

3 people decided not to nominate for this list.

10 sitcoms were voted as number 1 most hated but received no votes from anyone else.

In the battle of USA v UK, the UK won / lost the top 10 by 6 sitcoms to 4.

2 people voted for sitcoms that they couldn't remember the names of.

I'll start putting these up on Monday as well, at a slower rate than the good ones obviously.

The ongoing list will appear here:-

10) The Big Bang Theory

9) Only Fools And Horses

8) Scrubs

7) Everybody Loves Raymond

6) Mrs Brown's Boys

Some other stuff:-

* Shit-Bombs (Part 1)

* Shit-Bombs (Part 2)

Number of 1st place votes: 2

Total number of votes: 9

What's it about?

The Big Wang Theory, more like.

What do I say?

I've seen it on a few times and whenever it's been on I don't think I have threatened to laugh a single solitary time. What's the probability of that, Sheldon? Got a formula for that, have we, turd?

The defence that I've seen given of The Big Bang Theory is that I don't get the nerdy humour. You have to understand the references. You have to know people like this. YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. No, I don't. I don't understand how this show has been running for, what, 5 years now and is now regarded in some quarters as one of America's finest comedy exports.

None of the characters are even slightly likeable, a mixture of know-it-all cunts and dozy fuckers, and it even manages to make Kaley Cuoco rather difficult to like, mainly due to her association with this terrible show. The Big Bang Theory is fucking crap.

What do you say?

Au - Argh... My hatred for this show is such that I find it hard to put into words. It's just awful, isn't it? It's hammy and frustratingly low-brow for a show that seems to aim so high with its scientific accuracy. Every show is torturous and the times I've at least attempted to watch it, I've had to turn it off after ten minutes. And then I discover that some friends, ones I actually respect, like the show. Heated conversations followed. To sum up, it's cliched and stupid and perpetuates long outdated stereotypes about what a science nerd actually is. Times have changed, in this day and age, science and tech geeks are rock stars with personalities and lifestyles to match and yet BBT still wants you to laugh at how socially inept these characters are. Also, they have a laugh track hit at the end of every. (ahahaha) Single. (mild chortling) Fucking. (whooooa!hahaha) Sentence. (much laughter and applause) Infuriating.

Magnum - It's not the worst sitcom I've ever seen, and I've even been known to enjoy the odd episode. But the characters are so dislikable; that's ok when you're making Partridge and the main bloke is supposed to be a twat, but from what I gather Leonard is supposed to be the normal, identifiable one amongst them. He's such a weird, whiny little cunt, though, I don't see how anyone is supposed to root for him. He would be first in line for the mob if any kind of Savilling was uncovered in that neighbourhood.

opcws - I will confess to having enjoyed The Big Bang Theory a few years ago. The problem is its public perception - people think it's a show for geeks. It's not. It's a show for people who want to laugh at geeks. And once I realised that, the whole thing unravelled and I saw it for the slightly offensive one trick pony it was. Consider the following Sheldon Cooper quote: "Oh Ubuntu, you're my favourite Linux-based operating system." Literally no human being would ever say that. If you were big into Linux, that'd be like a normal person saying "Oh cola, you're my favourite carbonated soft drink". And a bunch of aliens laughing at it. Which will probably happen one day thanks to the levels of mediocrity being pioneered by programmes like this.

These people don't like it either:-

The great thing about several of the selections in this list is that they are also well liked on here, too, with a few appearing in the good list, so hopefully lots of arguments and crying will ensue.

Relieved to hear others not like the overrated tripe that is the Big Band Theory. Never laughed once at it.

Featuring Dr Sheldon Cooper - Flautist?

Well, that's a new sitcom...

I like TBBT. I don't know why I like it. I don't laugh at it, but I still watch it. It's pretty inoffensive to me.

This is pretty much my view of the Big Bang Theory. It's inoffensive fluff that I can stare at when it's on without feeling overwhelmed with rage. Not worthy of the adoration or loathing that it receives from both camps, in my opinion.

Folk played a blinder by voting for the tedious Big Bang Theory. It's a show that has a lengthy list of problems (some of which have already been mentioned), but the most serious one is that it isn't funny.

I think the most infuriating thing about it is lasses finding Sheldon Cooper attractive. How did that happen? He's no Randy Orton.

Urgh. I hate The Big Bang Theory. They're nerds, they're socially awkward, I get it. How the fuck did that pretence get stretched out over however ever many series it's blighted the entertainment industry with?

It's just not funny. Case in point, I saw an episode where the gay one goes to a computer store, a blind deaf mute could have forecast how that one was going to work out. Within 5 laughless minutes, he's been mistaken for someone who works there and ends up talking down to people regarding what parts to get their computer. Bravo, bravo, I don't know how I kept my intestines in considering the enormous splits I had in my sides.

I remember asking the cretin who made me watch it 'So, what's the deal with the Indian guy?' only to be told 'Oh, he gets so nervous around women, he can't talk to them'. OMG! That's like, totez relatable cos like I do that all the time ROLFCOPTER.

Another example of the devastating effects this 'comedy' seems to have on it's small minded followers is when a mate of mine met a girl on an internet dating site. They went out, had a good time, got the the third date, played the horizontal conga, only for the girl to stroke his hair and sing that song about a cat afterwards. Now I'm not a violent man but if there was ever an advert for domestic abuse, it's that (I'm not actually suggesting you should hit your partner if he/she enjoys the Big Bang Theory, that'd be absurd, but you should probably re-evaluate if you really want to spend your free time with someone amused by the televisual equivalent of a paperclip dangling on a piece of string).

I imagine this to be the first of several 'comedies' out at the moment that seem to cater exclusively to idiots. Oh, and anyone who compares TBBT to The IT Crowd (as I've heard a couple of times before) probably deserves to have their opinions forcibly removed with an old spoon.

Sorry on autopilot there - "band" is a well used word at work. Believe that if you will.

Obvious sign of a psychopath.
