Tag Team Revival

The first Raw after Vengeance:

At Vengeance, Air Boom defeat Ziggler/Swagger when the two men argue and Ziggler leaves Swagger to be pinned. The new GM on Raw, John Laurinitis, has decreed that the tag-team division isn't competitive enough. Air Boom are finding it all too easy, and as such, he wants superstars from Raw and Smackdown to form tag teams, and anyone who does can expect a nice bonus.

COXcn.png

Predictably, the first person to come out is Zack Ryder, carrying his video camera. As he reaches the ring, Laurinitis looks at him once, shakes his head, and leaves. "Are you serious bro!?" Ryder yells after the GM. Ryder gets on the mic and asks for someone to come out and be his partner for a match tonight. No-one answers the call, and so Ryder is forced to face Air Boom 1v2. Kofi and Evan squash Zack Ryder, but after the match they pick him up and dust him off, shaking his hand. Kofi gets on the mic, and tells Ryder that if he finds a partner, he's welcome to have a rematch at any time.

Smackdown

Christian opens the show, declaring himself as the greatest Tag Team specialist ever to grace the world of Sports Entertainment. He says that since the conspiracy is against him to become World Champion, he wants to become Tag Team Champion instead. He says he's found the man who will assist him as well. Cody Rhodes! Teddy Long comes out and is happy to see a new Tag Team formed. He also says he's been talking to some superstars, and there's another team out there who want a piece of Air Boom. Zack Ryder comes out, and alongside him he has Justin Gabriel. They're both wearing tights similar to Ryder's old ones, with one leg cut out and one leg long, and they are red and silver. Gabriel gets on the mic and says "I'm a three-time Tag Team Champion, and Zack Ryder is one of the fastest-rising stars in the WWE. Together, we are going to capture the Tag Championships, and we will go through you two first." Ryder takes the mic, and adds a "Woo, woo, woo, you know it!" The two of them rush the ring, and begin to brawl with Rhodes/Christian. The two heels slide out of the ring and escape, leaving the building as the ref counts them out.

Raw

Air Boom are in the ring, ready for their match against Dolph Ziggler and a partner of his choice. Ziggler's music hits, and the two in the ring turn to face the ramp, eager to see who their opponents are. "Look behind you," Ziggler smirks. Air Boom turn round, only to be flattened by a double clothesline by Brodus Clay! He picks Evan Bourne up and throws him over the rope, before suplexing Kingston halfway across the ring. Ziggler/Brodus beat on the Tag Champs with steel chairs and leave them unconscious. The EMTs are out and are carrying the Champs out the back.

Smackdown

Rhodes and Christian are in the ring as the show opens, calling Gabriel and Ryder out. "Why don't you come and make a show about us kicking your ass, Ryder?" The two men in their matching tights come out and rush the ring, only to be stomped down by Rhodes and Christian. The faces manage to fight back, however, and T-Lo makes a match.

The match begins with Christian and Ryder. Ryder is being stomped, but he gets the hot tag to Gabriel, who takes out Christian with a spinning heel kick and then dropkicks Rhodes off of the apron. The Intercontinental Champion grabs a chair and starts beating Gabriel. The ref calls for a DQ, and Christian and Rhodes attack Gabriel, before Ryder manages to get the save. Rhodes and Christian split.

Raw

No sign of Air Boom, and Ziggler and Brodus squash the pairing of Santino and JTG, who rapped their way to the ring. Posing in the ring after the match, Ziggler and Brodus promise to be on Smackdown on Friday.

Smackdown

As promised, Brodus and Ziggler are on Smackdown. They, Rhodes and Christian, and Ryder and Gabriel have a staredown in the ring. At that moment, T-Lo comes out again, and makes a 3 way tag-team match for the number 1 contendership on Raw.

Raw

John Laurinitis comes out, cancels the three way match, and says that unfortunately, Air Boom are unable to compete for another month, so are forced to vacate their tag titles. Not to worry, however, as he has made a four-way elimination tag match for the titles at Survivor Series, and here is his fourth team: Beer Money Inc.! The two of them rush the ring and the two heel teams scatter, leaving Beer Money Inc. and the team of Ryder and Gabriel to stare down in the middle of the ring.

ybaNs.jpg

Smackdown

Both the teams of Ziggler and Brodus, and Rhodes and Christian are petitioning T-Lo to remove Beer Money Inc. from the match, unsuccessfully. Instead, T-Lo makes a match of Beer Money + Ryder and Gabriel v Ziggler, Clay, Rhodes and Christian. The faces win to close the show with another staredown.

Survivor Series

The four-way elimination match is very back and forth

Your Match: Cobra Gordo vs Fox Piss

Your Scenario: Muhammad Hassan comes back from the dead

Unforgiven: 8 masked men appear during the Cena/Angle match through the crowd and surround the ring. Distracted, Cena rolls up Angle for the quick pin and bails out of the ring up the ramp as Champion. With no warning the men jump in the ring and jump Angle where he receives a beatdown. THE FIRST ROUND RESULTS!!!

Note: It's in really rough format right now. Some of the posts are linked, others aren't, but you'll find all the links you need in the OP. The second round draw commences tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for entering and taking part so far. I'll touch it all up tomorrow so it's more readable and not so walls-of-texty. And with pictures as well, because you can never get enough of those.

FIRST ROUND RESULTS

Match: NEWM vs Dearly Devoted Dexter

Scenario: Brock Lesnar returns to the WWE in 2004, a few months after he'd initially left to tryout for the NFL.

Post links: NEWM: http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2470424 vs Dexter: http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2468101

Comments:

NEWM provided a great reveal for Brock's return which really spices up the Smackdown scene again, which around that time period was really stagnating badly. It also heightens JBL's status and makes a great switch over from focusing on the Cabinet to him and Vince, which really preps up JBL's character even further and makes him much more of a marketable presence. The storyline itself has some real legs in it, with Brock's fate still undecided until No Way Out and even at Wrestlemania he's still not re-employed by the WWE in storyline terms. This sets up Brock's post-Mania future and ensues they'll have storylines to keep running with.

Dexter went down a Brock vs Triple H route, and it's a very tantalising one indeed because we never saw a big one on one match between these two. Brock returning at Summerslam to confront HHH after a big title match against Chris Benoit would seem like a big event, and it's built up well on the road to Wrestlemania 21. The separate shows route is an interesting one but it does mean that there's a real suspense factor in seeing the clash finally happen. Building Brock up again in the eyes of the fans by having him put in a good showing in both the Rumble match and in the Evolution gauntlet was another good booking move.

The Winner is...

NEWM

The Mackem man gets the duke here and marches on to round 2 despite Dexter's Brock/HHH effort.

Anonymous Panel comments: The latter’s effort had a few nice suggestions but didn’t provide the little bits of detail which brought NEWM’s submission to life. You could genuinely see that story happening, which solidified the choice. There were some nice bits of detail from around the time, too, namely the “Vince doesn't spacker his legs in my version”. Oh and I would imagine a crowd would go bonkers if Lesnar hit an F5 on his bird.

Match: Majik vs Charles Goodwill

Scenario: Re-doing ECW's 2006 revival, and hopefully making it a happier hardcore reunion.

Posts: Majik- http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2467816

vs Charles- http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2467870

Comments:

Majik gets a really nice blend going here, showcasing old school ECW style programming alongside WWE's vision of ECW. Extra points for little production tidbits, like keeping the old school ECW presentation with the grimy camera work. There's also some interesting build to the DTD PPV thanks to Vince McMahon's deal with Heyman. The double main event for that show looks like an absolute treat and it's definitely a PPV you can imagine people paying for and getting their money's worth. Summed up nicely at the end by making ECW a brand to nurture future stars, though in a more positive way than what happened in real time.

Charles goes for a blockbuster main event at the December PPV, and there's no denying that a Cena/Lesnar clash would generate some huge interest, whether it's showcased in an ECW environment or otherwise. Cena's reveal as the mystery figure and the foil in ECW's side goes along with his clashes with RVD around that time and it's interesting to see that Charles is the first person in the booking cup to book Cena in a heel role of sorts. Whilst the ECW purists would probably be up in arms, Lesnar and Cena working an ECW storyline would undoubtedly raise ECW's then profile from being a C-Show.

And the winner is...

Majik

Very nicely done by Majik, who it has to be said goes through relatively comfortably. A Lesnar/Cena match looks good on paper, but it's felt that Charles' execution of the angle could've been improved. Cena's reveal as the hooded figure and Brock's return via Vince could've been spiced up a bit, but as a result they seemed a bit like non-events. A good entry nonetheless, but Majik's entry had much better build-ups and execution in reviving the ECW brand.

Match: ButchReedMark vs Louch

Scenario: Map out Mark Henry's road to Wrestlemania. MizarkaMania!

Links: Butch- http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2467808 vs Louch- http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2467723

Comments:

A rebuilt and dominant Mark Henry vs a returning Batista? Most tantalising. Butch's use of humour reinforces the point that different styles are welcome in this competition, his use of Teddy Long in particular drawing many a chuckle. Aside from the humour, he sends Henry further along his dominate path by putting Kane & Big Show back on the shelf and taking out CM Punk is lightning quick fashion. Batista being his Wrestlemania opponent was a nice reveal, as was leaving the ending open ended but providing rationales for both. Overall, a very colourful effort from someone who has to be considered a favourite in the tournament.

Louch told Butch to beat the man, you've got to beat the man. His attempt at beating the man saw lots of involvement playing up to current storylines going on around WWE, such as the build up to Survivor Series and Daniel Bryan's pending Money in the Bank cash-in. Adding other superstars to the booking mix like Christian show that such a build-up to Wrestlemania can elevate more than just the two people wrestling the actual match. Extra points to Louch for the triumphant picture at the end, as D'lo celebrates with his old chum at the climax of the show. In particular I liked the finish of the final match.

And the Winner is...

ButchReedMark

A top effort from Butch with some cracking build. Louch's effort at times seemed hard to follow and despite bringing other stars to the fold, t'wasn't nearly as engaging as Butch's entry.

Match: Dirty Eddie vs Sheffbag

Scenario: Zack Ryder's Wrestlemania path.

Posts: Eddie- http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2468287

Comments:

Eddie books a compelling, rich storyline for Ryder and really does add to the Woo Woo Woo lad's character, showing that he's not just a comedy act and that there's actual depth to him. Ziggler is the perfect foil for him, especially in light of recent developments between them. One of the requirements for this scenario was to include an Internet title defence. Not only has Eddie adhered to that, but he's made the Internet title an integral part of the proceedings here. There can't be much doubt that should they actually meet in a cage match that it would be a great contest. The sight of Zack and his posse celebrating a Mania title win would be grand.

Sheffbag hasn't entered anything.

And the Winner is...

Dirty Eddie

Eddie really sets his stall out here, great character evolving and superb build-up.

Match: Ian_Hitmanhat vs Sean Thomas Jolly

Scenario: The return of STONE COLD!! STONE COLD!! STONE COLD!!

Links: Ian - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2468414 vs Sean TJ - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2468335

Comments:

Ian's gone for a match-up which pairs Austin against a man who you would certainly pinpoint as his modern equivalent. I can't remember many angles starting via video game before, but it's certainly pitched well here. Orton heeling it up again is much truer to his character and challenging Austin further cements this. The HBK segment was a fantastic bit of booking and a great bit of detail to keep developing the program between them. The pull apart on the go home show would add further spice to what's already a red hot angle between them. Ian's prediction of WWE's foam finger sales looks to be rather accurate too. Great stuff.

Sean's effort threw up an equally interesting scenario and a different opponent in The Miz. Admittedly Miz wouldn't be the first choice for many if Austin were to make a comeback, but Sean doesn't half sell an angle between them well here. Miz denouncing the company and taking people out makes him stand out as a top line heel again, and Austin's reveal is a nice way to kick start the program between them. Adding Cena to the angle gives it even more gravitas and while most 'net fans would probably want Austin to put Miz over, I think the main event is booked very tastefully. A top effort here from Sean boy.

And the winner is...

Ian_Hitmanhart

VERY close here, because both booked angles really well and made both programs with Orton and Miz respectively look like great prospects. Ian edges it for having slightly better detail than Sean and general quality. Top marks to Sean for graciously accepting defeat.

Match: TheBigBoot vs 7_Inch_M4U

Scenario: Shaping the future of TNA.

Posts: BigBoot - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2470796

7Inch - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2468170

Das Boot kicks off with a really nice ending for the BFG PPV with Robert Roode coming up trumps and starting of a bright new era for the company. After going on to defeat Flair and then a second successive win against Angle, Roode is firmly entrenched in the main event scene and rightfully so. Batista (Who seems to be cropping up quite regularly in this competition) coming in is a huge signing for them. The clearing out of some big names like Jeff Hardy may or may not come as a surprise, but it's bold and certify's the future aspect of the scenario. The title scene, PPV headlines and everything about the entry are superbly structured.

7Inch lays out a compelling path for James Storm in light of Roode's ascent to the main event picture. Angle's disappearance for a couple of months to let the younger talent emerge is a shrewd move and ensures that TNA keeps looking to the next crop of headliners. Other aspects are expanded on very well in terms of detail here, the picture of the main event and elsewhere on the card is very elaborate and well put together. This one ticks all of the boxes and there's a big derth of workers here, and while James Storm as champion is a choice not many would've thought up in the wake of Roode's push, it's been executed well here.

While BigBoot's overall structure and presentation was excellent, 7Inch actually expands on his ideas in more detail, which makes this a bastard hard contest to judge. Great entries by both posters.

And the winner is...

BigBoot

Great entries by both posters and it was an absolute bastard to judge. I'll add some panel comments later, but we've leaned ever so slightly towards BigBoot. Apologies to 7_Inch. The panel continuously changed their minds before knuckling down and making the final call.

Match: Slapnut vs theblackvinnymac

Scenario: AJ Styles joins the WWE.

Links: Slappers - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2470368

Slapnut's entry is a belter here, really establishing Styles as a fantastic addition to WWE's roster and with a top notch character to boot, like modern day Mr.Perfect of sorts. The 'Anything you can do, I can do better' tag/character is executed extremely well. Whilst the task is obviously about Styles' WWE arrival, and poor John Morrison comes up a bit of a cropper, its good to see other superstars being brought into the mix in this scenario and it's a great feud for Styles to jump into. The posedown with Atlas is classic, as is the potential dream match with Rey Mysterio. This is a vibrant, colourful entry that really stands out.

Blackvinnyman didn't post.

And the winner is...

Slapnut by default, though it was pretty damn strong anyway.

Match: CleetusVanDamme vs Inspector Paul Solo

Scenario: Re-booking Randy Orton's early 2009 mega push.

Links: Cleetus - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127797...p;#entry2467620

Stephanie booking Orton is a series of gauntlet style challenges with Orton going over would've definitely kept his momentum going after his Royal Rumble win. Punting Shane off the stage is a visceral, yet brilliant move to keep Orton looking like a bad ass mothertrucker. Add the RKO on Stephanie to the mix and including some Legacy antics on the go Home Raw and it makes you wonder why WWE didn't keep him looking so strong in the first place in real time. Orton going over at Wrestlemania after looking so strong in the build-up is one sided, yet totally necessary in significantly boosting his star power. Good stuff.

Nothing from Inspector Paul.

And the Winner is...

Cleetus by default, again it was a strong entry.

Match: Adorable Adrian vs Scott2K16

Scenario: Take a poster from the UKFF, create a superstar from them, book their initial arrival.

Comments:

Double A chose cobystag as his UKFF superstar/turned CZW standout. To be fair, not many people reading will be too clued up on CZW, but the content here is very good and Coby's reveal into the CZW landscape is booked well. The bit of background paragraph at the opening of the post was vital and well detailed to ease non-CZW goers into reading through the entry. It's well put together, and you could easily translate the angle into WWE style matches without the hardcore stuff, though it serves as a really interesting background to this whole entry. Generally booked very well with some good progression throughout.

Scott went for tiger_rick, the hellraiser from Hull if you will (blushes) and put him straight into the main event picture against WWE's golden boy, Frog splash and all. I think putting together a British & Irish alliance is a good vehicle for not only Rick's debut, but to give more purpose to Sheamus and McIntyre in the company. Rick is certainly booked strongly, hitting a Frog Splash and trying to add further woe to a John Cena neck problem with the help of his cohorts. Scott also lays the foundations for Rick and the Empire's future by building up to Survivor Series and throwing more names into the scenario as well. And did I mention Rick does a Frog Splash?

And the winner is...

Adorable Adrian.

A nice twist booking something in a CZW environment and generally good all round booking and structure. Scotty's entry felt a bit too clattered together and the panel just wasn't feeling it, in particular they weren't nearly as satisfied with the ending. Also, this from a panel member:

“I don't buy into tiger-rick hitting a frogsplash. He comes across as more of a DDT man.”

Match: BenoitIsInnocent vs omgmarc

Scenario: Book a compelling tag team split angle.

Links:

Ben-Innocents's entry on the BlueBloods really impressed the panel here. A really compelling angle which does well to bring others such as Terry Funk into play, but also different themes and stories within the story such as the grudging respect between Funk/Eaton. Extra points for the good structure and booking it so well in a classical time period. The angle heats up nicely down the stretch and gets paid off with an exciting blow-off, even alluding to what's next on the cards for both respective parties. As is par for the course, not only are the participants in the split covered but it brings others into play too. Top drawer.

Marc's entry equally impressed the panel as it happens, his L.O.D split proving to be another compelling and interesting read from a past period in wrestling. Hawk holding his own as a singles wrestler while Animal's on the shelf is a great way to build up Hawk before the split angle even properly starts, and when it does, what makes it more compelling as that Animal may have a legitimate gripe. The Ellering swerve down the stretch was nicely done in the build up to their Clash of the Champions encounter. Animal going over strengthens his own midcard position after Hawk's was already boosted by his U.S title, effectively elevating both. Top marks.

And the winner is...

Benoit Is Innocent

This was a toughy, but ultimately the panel made a difficult call and went with Benoit as the winner despite two cracking entries here. By far one of the tougher decisions to make.

Match: vince russo vs Forrest

<3 /\

Links:

Comments:

Some great drama immediately by VR with Miz turning on Riley with Maryse's involvement, and I actually think it's a more poignant separation between them than what actually transpired. Miz getting in Maryse's face leaves nothing to the imagination about where the angle will lead, but then that's all part of the fun for the viewer as well. The wedding angle at the close of the entry shows that some of the WWE wedding angle conventions have been used and generally the whole triangle is booked well. I think in general the three superstars picked were great choices. It's also a great way to build up Riley. Good stuff!

Forrest didn't enter anything in the end, so:

The winner is...

vince russo by default, though it was a strong entry so good call. Apologies to Forest, but I did give him time and still hadn't heard from him, and we need to keep this thing rolling.

Match: AJS269 vs Jesster

Scenario: King of the Ring

Links:

Comments:

AJ putting a couple of angle's within the tourne was a good way to go. Family angles usually generate good interest and the Rhodes family are a pretty wild bunch. Having Sin Cara take home the crown and the resulting title match with Del Rio would be a good way to really establish him in the WWE proper. There's also some good foresight to book after the tourne as well, which wasn't necessarily required but it does help to add to the overall picture and bridges the gap between the end of the KOTR tourne and Sin Cara's resulting title opportunity. A good way to build up Cara and generally a good use of the tournament.

Jesster's entry see's some good variation in his KOTR. You've got a returning Skip Sheffield looking like a beast, a returning king in William Regal, a newly signed Bobby Roode and generally a good pay-off to the tourne final, with a match that would make for interesting viewing. The build of Roode using KOTR as a vehicle to do so has worked for the likes of Steve Austin before, so it's nice to see that kind of tradition continued. Roode eventually winning the title against the new and improved killer Mark Henry would be another great feather in his cap, and I like the look of the rematch with a pissed off Henry.

And the winner is...

Jesster.

Better detail basically, though there wasn't much in it. Generally Jesster's is seen as the stronger of the two.

Match: Cobra Gordo vs Fox Piss

Scenario: AAAAEEEYEEAAAAAAEEEAYAAAAYAAAAAALLLLAAAAHHH!!!

Links:

Comments:

Gordo's masked men angle to reveal Hassan's return and the whole claiming responsibility promo isa great way to effectively 'Make' Hassan into a bigger star, some devilishly heel tactics going on. Hassan and his cronies doing such inhumane things to people (such as the baseball bats to Benoit, of all people) and then claiming not to be a terrorist is a nice, if almost unintentionally funny brainwave. Hassan continues to be booked strongly through the Rumble and then onto the the big match at Wrestlemania too. McMahon getting involved in any angle gives it a bit more gravitas, so generally it's a great entry.

Foxy goes for broke with the 9/11 involvement, and to be fair as much controversy as it would cause it would be some pretty damn gripping television. Angle's alliance with Davari is a nice nod to what actually went down between them, and also Angle's turn would surely have the audience going absolutely insane for him. Khali is revealed very strongly, just as strong if not more so than when he debuted by slapping Undertaker's forehead in real time. Angle vs Hassan at 'Mania is built up pretty strongly to boot. Surprised to see Angle not getting the W at Mania, but this is Hassan's scenario and he's been made to look like a mega-heel here.

And the winner is...

Fox Piss

It's felt that Fox Piss epitomised quality over quantity here. Both were good entries and really presented Hassan's reemergence and potential strongly, but despite Gordo's good entry, Foxy did so with slightly more vigour but in less words. Apologies to Gordo after the trouble he had getting his entry moved from different PC's and having an extended deadline.

Match: Adam619 vs Stunstone316

Scenario: Trips, COO.

Links:

Comments:

Adam had HHH appoint his old foe Mick Foley, which was a nice nod to not only their own history, but also Foley's own history as an authority figure (remember Commissioner Mick?). I'm not sure how many people would clamour for a HHH/Nash match in 2011, but I think it's been booked well enough here to generate interest. Johnny Ace wanting to ruin WWE is something fans could easily connect and relate to and it plays up to the real time WWE environment. There's another Batista sighting in this comp, and by no stretch do I mean that in a bad way. Trips' goes out in a pretty grim way, but it would make for a real “OMG” moment.

Stunstone takes a real-world issue like the London riots and re-creates it in the WWE lockeroom early on in his entry. How can you not enjoy that? Also, Trips having marriage problems in addition to having a tough time at work was a nice touch. Adding the McMahon's to the mix wouldn't go down brilliantly with a net crowd, but it's booked very well here with some good storyline progression throughout. Laurintis' heel faction reminds me of a more modern version of the Corporation, so good call there. Heel HBK is always a winner too and something you wouldn't really see coming here.

And the Winner is...

Stunstone316

Adam's ideas were very good, but so were Stunstone's who's general execution was also better and both of those aspects worked in his favour strongly.

Match: Spotlightmagnet1 vs Ricky Slatter

Scenario: The Briscoe's final movements in ROH

Link:

Comments:

The Briscoe's going out as rebel heels is a fitting send-off for them, it allows the ROH fans to get behind the other stars on offer there and fills the void left by the departure, though the little tribute to them before the turn is a great way to showcase what they've accomplished in their careers and the speeches would be great to see. Retreating through the crowd on the back of the crowd seems a good way to bring closure to their ROH tenure, as is the involvement of Jim Cornette, which I think was essential really for this scenario. Generally a well booked departure which covers all of the bases you would expect.

Ricky Slatter didn't submit.

And the Winner is....

Spotlightmagnet1 by default, with a good entry all the same.

Match: Nexus vs mim

Scenario: Reviving the WWE's tag ranks

Links:

Comments:

Nexus does well to breathe new life into the division, good touch early on bringing in Christian who is without doubt a world class tag competitor and exactly the type of guy you'd look to if you wanted to make a division like that stronger again. Overall the structure is very good and very readable, with some great ideas for revamping the division thrown out. As well as the likes of Christian, bringing in Beer Money was an expected, if essential move if one is to take WWE tag team wrestling seriously again. Bringing back the TLC concept for tag matches is a nice nod to their last tagging golden age. Strong entry.

Mim brings some classic teams of yesteryear back into the WWE fold and if you're going to rebuild a dying division, who better to assist than not only the World's Greatest tag team, but the Steiner Brothers to boot? The backstage stuff with people discussing partners and whatnot would make for some cracking TV and really puts over the importance of the newly rebuilt tag scene. The tournament structure, whilst not a requirement, is very well booked. There's some good foresight into the future at the conclusion of the entry. Like Nexus, a very strong entry and another tough decision for the panel.

And the winner is...

Mim731

By the thinnest of thin ice. Both were class entries, but Mim edges it for overall structure and execution out of the two. It came down to a bit of nitpicking basically, which is a shame but shows how good they both were.

Aye congrats to big boot like, I really enjoyed doing this so I'm actually dissapointed not to get through, but understood of course, am intrigued to see the panels comments on the scenario later etc too, really do hope this thread keeps on rolling. Good luck big boot.

Very gracious of you. I deliberately didn't read your post until after I'd written up mine. Honestly, I thought it was very good. I have to say there are some excellent entries in this thread all round some ideas I never would have thought of but think could work and I hope that standard keeps up. Thanks!
