he (rainz) is very upset over this apparently he's taken the comments to heart and quit...

 

I can't believe some wrestlers have such fragile egos.......actually, I can. Ignore that last statement.

 

I never thought having a shit list was a good idea , what the hell is it meant to achieve anyway ? The only thing that it really going to achieve is upsetting people. Now i don't think for one moment what surf's mum done was right however she must of done it because her son was being needlessly attacked which had upset her.

 

Next Rainz - this man dedicates himself to NBW , he helps bring through young talent , flyers , and often loses money - and for what - because he loves wrestling , he is not a taker from wrestling , he is a giver and people on here have made him feel so low that he feels like he needs to quit. The comments were personnal and spiteful , that is why he is upset.

 

Benny , i love the top 50 and think it's great but when you write the shitlist you try to palm of the comments as other peoples although i think you need to take responsability for making the decision to do a shit list in the first place and then publishing peoples comments.

I dont know Rainz well and havent seen him work much either but he comes across as a legit nice guy and was very respectful to me when we met, I think the list is a case of hilarity when idiots like Surf are being pummelled on here but some good people seem to get caught up in it all. I am not saying the list is a bad idea cos if voted right I think it highlights who the stinkers are and why folk should keep away from their work - Surf, Petey, etc

 

from the few times I saw Rainz he didnt look bad at all and gooner's comments above reflect him well, but its like all these lists, if enough people vote for you - good or bad - youre going to be on it and its out of your hands

 

I hope Rainz doesnt quit and gets over this but I honestly think these lists are 99% enjoyable and 1% disheartening, theyre also 100% controversial but what on here isnt

If people can't take some critisism, then maybe they shouldn't be putting themselves in positions that opens them up to it. I've never heard of this guy before, so I dunno if he's good or not, but if he is legitimately considering quitting over this then he's either a bit of a wally, or agrees that he's shit beyond all help.

The shitlist in the same thread as the UKFF50 was always a bad idea and I can't say I'm shocked to see it overshadowing the main list.

 

Here's hoping we don't get the same next year.

imo the shitarse 50 is a way of exposing those shitarses whilst having a laugh at them... its their own fault for being shit and for not taking a joke... spud was superb in the way he played up to it more should follow his example instead of being whining little bitches and quitting.

I think its very odd how the shitlist is causing more controversy than the original Shitarse 50 did.

 

Although i guess it's not nessecary to have a shitlist i think it helps fans know what to avoid, which in wrestling can be a useful bit of information

I think Rainz' biggest problem is that he's often on shows and does the general big man thing of not really wrestling and just doing a few moves, and plays up to the crowd more than anything. I actually feel he would be a huge benefit if he just dropped the face act and did a straight angry big man act who plows through everyone in short matches to get to the top guy, before having a fued before finally being beaten by the lead face. It's generic, but in local feds it wont matter because the kids will love the angle.

 

I also would be surprised if he honestly thought of himself as a great wrestler, but I don't think he's crap, just someone who needs to perhaps place himself in a better role that suits his style more.

I think one of the problems with the shitlist is that it's only got 15 people on it. The original shitlist had Spud in it, and Doug at the very top (bottom?) - it was a lot of fun, and any list of shitness with Spud disposing of his gear is classic. This list seems to be a little too small and personal.

 

Another problem is that it's linked to the UK50, which is extremely credible. Again, the earlier list had the sense of a piece of fun, whilst the UK50 is a pretty serious piece of work.

 

Finally, I think that Hatmon just attracts controversy, like a shining beacon.

I'd rather see no shitarses and just the UKFF 50.

 

But hey, if he wants the good to be consistantly overshadowed by the bad, that's his problem.

 

The threads should have been seperate. Clogging up the board isn't UKHG's problem. He should have either 1) done two threads or 2) done no shitlist. The reasons for this can be seen just by reading this thread.

"Dynamite" Chris Hart comes from the Yorkshire-based UKW promotion, which runs shows in Wakefield, Ossett and Selby, and recently ran a show in Blackpool Tower. Hart himself has also been involved in training many of the people through the UKW Academy.

 

As well as putting out 2 hour UKW "TV" episodes via YouTube, as well as appearing in other UKW promo videos, Hart also recorded his own shoot interview and released it on DVD. What's more, he then arranged to be filmed signing copies of said DVD. Hart has recently been on the sidelines due to a broken/dislocated arm he suffered during a match.
