I dont believe the email its far too "convenient" TBH.Although if theres going to be joint promotion events and new title that would be a good thing.I am 100% behind british wrestling and I think theres a lot a good british talent out there and I dont see the point in sending the americans over in droves yes theyre good at wrestling but so are we, we need to establish britain back as a wrestling country like back in the WOS days rather than flood the market with Americans, i dont mind the odd few on shows dont get me wrong but i would much rather see at least a 90% british roster rather than about 20% thats not british wrestling its like the WWE with 3 brit guys in it cept its not on tv and the tickets cost more.

Iamyourtruth should be banned for putting a private e-mail on a public forum.

Why? It's his email, he can do what he wants with it.

Ok  So if your boss sends you a confidential e-mail about new developments in the company, you can do whatever you want with it because it is your e-mail? Cool for you. I think my boss would have fired me if I put in on a forum. So if your girlfriend sends you a sexy photo on e-mail, you can put it on the web because you can do whatever you want with it? Cool for you. I think my girlfriend would have left me if I posted it on a forum.

Yeah but the fact is the person sending it to you has given you that as an option unless the e-mail had a disclaimer at the bottom the guy had every right to post this on here. If it's ethicly right or wrong is down to each person to decide as stated with your examples above. If this all is true what difference does it make it is on a public forum besides giving 1PW a fair advance warning of it. If people send you an e-mail it might be in good faith that you won't go and tell everyone but with something like this it could be seen as making a moral judgement that it's for the greater good to post it on here and let people know. Sorry I blame doing ethics for a year. That being said I really don't think this is legit and maybe only part of the story at best.

I don't get it. They want to set up a new belt? Sounds a good idea too. Don't know how this is a conspiracy at all. Would anyone care to explain?

If they were competing, wouldn't the sooper-secret email say so? It's not meant for public eyes, yet it still says 'we're not trying to compete' rather than 'can't wait until we destroy 1pw pmsl m8'.

I love the way people have to hide there ID's, by registering a false account. It would be great if some people would grow some balls and stop hiding behind usernames, just so they can shit stir like little bitches in a school playground. My take on it all:1PW are not what I would call your standard british fed. Speaking to wrestlers who have worked the shows, they have said its the most professional setup, front of house and backstage. The wrestlers and staff are looked after better than any other UK promotion they have worked for.If they are in any sort of financial difficulty thats their business; I too heard these rumours a few weeks ago, and to be honest it would not suprise me, but no one knows any facts apart from those directly involved in 1PW.British wrestling at times can be seedy and backstabbing, but hey this comes with the territory. I am sure 1PW will ride the storm. At the end of the day, I remember a few years ago the FWA getting this exact same crap on these forums, new registered users, with inside gossip and it was nothing more than an attempt to shit stir. The amazing thing was that most of those shit stirrers were people who the FWA trusted and I put money on its the same case with 1PW.The shit heads who are shit stirring need to stop hiding behind new usernames, and grow some balls. Its not big or clever at the end of the day. If you have a problem with 1PW or any UK promotion, its more grown up to be straight forward if posting on a forum or even more so, why do it on a forum, why not contact them direct.

Also, the notion of a nationally recognised title in a worked sport involving many different promotions/promoters with many different agendas is problematic at best. Fishy.

1) Nothing about that email even hints at a conspiracy against 1PW, other than them not being included in the list of promotions, but then neither is EWW, am I crying foul?2) This is a project that has been discussed for sometime now, certainly a long time before 1PW was started.3) I am 99% certain Sanjay Bagga has never been involved with 1PW since I witnessed him talking to Stephen Gauntly on Saturday and it was pretty clear it was the first time they'd met each other. I'd also guess Gauntly would be as unhappy about this shitsturring as the people on that list.4) So you're either someone in the business who wants to cause trouble or you a crazy mad fan.

Actually putting it on here is technically illegal.UK law is preatty specific that if something is intended for your personal eyes that it should not be disclosed to the public. To do so would contradict with confidentiality law. Yes he could of been more specific, and yes he probably shouldn't of gone on a 1pw tangent, but at the end of the day the email is written to those named in the email, and by forwarding it on without express permission is a technical "no no."

I could be way off here but to my understanding that the e-mail must have a disclaimer that states it's for the personal viewing of the person it's sent to. I don't work in wrestling but I do in music and have worked with some pretty big bands and all e-mails from labels, mangement etc have huge ass diclaimers attached to them. At this juncture, I'd like to remind everybody that smarks are destroying british wrestling. Not anybody connected with the companies, noooooo. It's the smarks.

I don't know if i should respond - and on any other forum i wouldnt, but since i'm a regular geek on here, it'd take too much effort not too  .I was the one who sent out the email, and it was designed to bring together all the people it was sent out too on this new project. Ta-daaa. That's actually it. It's a shame that somebody has decided they can't keep private business dealings as such, but there's actually nothing in the email that fans cannot know about; it would just've been good to get promoters to firm 100% to the idea first. As an FYI: A WMC in Stainforth (the place mentioned) was chosen because it has excellent transport links, is a lovely venue, lovely people, is cost wise, but most importantly is TWENTY YARDS away from where our local promoter and a-star man, lives (or works, i forget).I guess it'd be wrong for me to post here the email i sent to Steven, explaining what a good opportunity this is for him to get in at grass roots U23 british wrestling. I rallied off a quick list of guys he could put in on-show or pre-show qualifiers, such as Jack Storm, Spud, Dave Moralez, Jay Phoenix and many more. In-fact, i thought we had made headway in this, as i'd recieved some emails back from promoters comitting 100% to it, we'd looked into belt manufacture, and we even agreed to move from Stainforth into another area of further distance away, in order to get Steven and 1PW involved in this project - for the main aim, and greater good, of exposure to the belt. But yeah, that kinda takes the shine off of the big announcement if and when it comes ;).

It's the fact that smarks are trying to run british wrestling that's destroying it. Why the hell do promoters feel the need to come on fan forums to defend themselves?

Laurie Penny, reporting from the student protests, November 2010:

Outside Downing Street, in front of a line of riot police, I am sitting beside a makeshift campfire. It's cold, and the schoolchildren who have skipped classes gather around as a student with a three-string guitar strikes up the chords to Tracy Chapman's Talkin Bout a Revolution. The kids start to sing, sweet and off-key, an apocalyptic choir knotted around a small bright circle of warmth and energy. "Finally the tables are starting to turn," they sing, the sound of their voices drowning out the drone of helicopters and the screams from the edge of the kettle. "Finally the tables are starting to turn."
