Majik
Saturday 2nd May 2015 - The Assembly, Leamington Spa. Doors open at 6pm. First bell at 6:30pm. Our first show! Don't miss the unique opportunity to witness the birth of Legacy Wrestling. Senior official Chris Boyle has announced the following bouts so far: Tag Team super heavyweights The Henchmen are issuing an open challenge - who will dare answer the call from over sixty stone of humanity? Jimmy Havoc is known throughout the UK for his brawling style of combat, so why is he here in Legacy, where the rules are everything and respect is demanded? All we know is that his opponent Chuck Mambo will be bringing his own unique style of wrestling to The Assembly and won't let Mr Havoc's reputation intimidate him. The high flying White Tiger comes to Leamington with an enormous challenge ahead of him. "The Male Model" Kay Jutler isn't just an accomplished grappler, but a champion bodybuilder who seems utterly focussed on racking up as many wins as possible in Legacy Wrestling; we at Legacy will be keeping an eye on Mr Jutler as we are aware of his somewhat fiery temper, which will not be tolerated within our ropes. We are very proud that every wrestler who steps in the ring for Legacy Wrestling brings something different to the bout; these two couldn't be further apart in their looks, but both of these men have wrestling skills which bring a crowd to their feet. Expect an intense contest from Mr Knight and Mr Payne, and one which we will be very interested to see who comes out on top. The main event at The Assembly on May 2nd would not look out of place at any wrestling show anywhere around the world. It is truly our honour and pleasure to bring to you these two incredible wrestlers in what has the potential to be one of the finest wrestling bouts it is possible to watch. The super intense Jack Starz is a technical wizard, backed up by a fearsome physique and a jaw dropping range of submission techniques. Justin Hammer Sysum could well be the template for what a wrestler needs to be the very best at this great sport; speed, power and a deep knowledge of his craft makes Mr Sysum the man to beat in Legacy Wrestling before the first bell has even rung. Tickets available now via www.legacy-wrestling.com.
Majik
Words from Senior Official Chris Boyle Legacy Wrestling has an ethos that can summed up in a single word; Sportsmanship.British Wrestling’s legacy was built on sportsmanship. We will continue that legacy, whilst still bringing you all the character and excitement of the modern wrestling world. To ensure we balance these two things, my officials and I have created ‘Legacy Rules’, unique to Legacy Wrestling, designed to give you the best in-ring action and conclusive results. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you what these rules are and why they exist:1. Respect officials and wrestlers at all times.Sportsmanship is key; wrestlers are not to lay hands on officials or interrupt their duties, they are not to physically interact outside of a bout, and they must conduct themselves in a sporting manner at all times.2. All bouts to be decided by pin fall, submission, knock out or disqualification. There are no count outs at Legacy wrestling; we want decisive bouts. Failure to return to the ring when possible will be classed as misconduct.3. Officials will give public warnings for misconduct. A third public warning will result in disqualification.Any unsporting behaviour can be classed as misconduct by the officials. All disqualifications will be reviewed the senior official and further action may be taken if necessary.4. Ejecting an opponent from the ring is misconduct.Throwing an opponent over the top rope will result in disqualification. Ejecting an opponent from the ring in any other manner will be considered misconduct. Sporting bouts are decided in the ring, by the skill and strength of the wrestlers. We endeavour to keep our bouts in the ring, under the control of our officials.5. Failure to return to the ring from choice will result in a public warning.Delaying participation in a bout is unsporting and will be classed as misconduct. As the senior official, I believe these rules will give you the highest quality, sporting bouts of professional wrestling. Legacy Wrestling will be a showcase for the best wrestlers and wrestling anywhere in the world, upholding the fine traditions of British wrestling. MungoChutney
White Tiger?! That's a blast from the SWA/MPW past.
Majik
Tiger took a bit of time out but has come back this past year better (and BIGGER!!!) than he has ever been. Tiger was one of the most beloved MPW guys, and I've no doubt he'll be carrying that charisma into the Legacy shows - we're chuffed to bits to have him on board! Majik
Our Master of Ceremonies and co-founder has released a statement regarding the launch of Legacy Wrestling. *** Dear Wrestling Fan, It is with both pride and excitement that I am able to write to you in the lead up to the launch of Legacy Wrestling. Legacy Wrestling was born of a powerful respect for the true British style and ethos of professional Wrestling, held dear by my colleagues and I as students of the classic style of the sport and dedicated Wrestling purists. It has been with some sadness and much nostalgia as we have watched this style take a back seat over the years to what modern Professional Wrestling has become, but an understanding that the sport had moved with the times in order to make the progress it needed. It was with this in mind that we decided it was time to give you what we feel is the perfect blend of both and with countless hours of planning and hard work, we are now ready for the launch of our labour of love. We will be bringing you show after show of the finest wrestling action you will see anywhere in the World, embracing our beloved British style presented with a unique blend of modern flair and traditional ceremony but most importantly in the shape of sporting bouts held, fought and officiated with the discipline and etiquette which was once the foundation that enabled British Wrestling to stand with pride and honour as the most respected form of the sport Worldwide. Whether you’re looking for a trip down memory lane to the Golden Age of Professional Wrestling, or the excitement of the modern day style and all that goes with it, we know that Legacy Wrestling has something for you as you join us to enjoy your own piece of the British Wrestling Legacy. We look forward to meeting you. Yours in sport, “Mr Legacy”, Legacy Wrestling Co-Founder & Master of Ceremonies ***
Majik
Jimmy Havoc is known throughout the UK for his brawling style of combat, so why is he here in Legacy, where the rules are everything and respect is demanded? Mr Havoc is currently holding multiple championships, but it seems that is not enough for the resilient young man from Kent, and a step outside his comfort zone into the traditional rules of Legacy is on the horizon. Mr Havoc is as anti-establishment as they come; his opponent isn't exactly your usual traditional grappler either - the beach loving, surfboard riding, laid back Chuck Mambo! Mr Mambo is a superb example of modern grappling; technically superb, with outstanding fitness levels. Visually speaking, Mr Mambo wouldn't fit into the expectations of a Legacy Wrestling fan with his bleach blond hair and garish ring gear, however, his athleticism and will to win should never be questioned. This will be a very interesting bout featuring two unexpectedly non-conformist wrestlers with two very different attitudes.
