Mark Sloan
Wrestlingstore.co.uk is proud to present four local wrestling events this coming October Half TermLive Professional Wrestling returns to four top class venues this October half term with an all new 4 date tour programme of Pro Wrestling in association with Wrestlingstore.co.ukWhich leads us to October's 4 date tour....Event Details.-------------------------------Date :: Sunday October 26thVenue :: Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 4AH - MapShow Start :: 5.30pmDoors :: 5pmEst Finish :: 8pmTickets :: £10 Adults, £8 Kids, £32 Family of 4Available :: Online at http://www.hovewrestling.co.uk or Box Office (023) 9265 2211Facebook Page :: Hove 26th October FB Event PageMark Haskins vs Doug Williams Very few UK Based grapplers can claim to have worked for 2 of the biggest promotions in the world, Haskins and of course Williams are two of the very select few who can claim such a feat. Williams, credentials speak for themselves, with a plethora of championships in the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA. There isn't a more title rich UK competitor today. Former X-Division, TNA Tag Team Title, IWPG Tag Team Titles, Pro Wrestling Noah GHC Tag Team Champion, ROH Pure Wrestling Champion, FWA Champion and many many more titles start to give you scope of the career of Doug Williams. The man who opposes him, The Star Attraction, who has won his fair share of titles in Europe, was signed to progressive Japanese promotion Dragon Gate for almost all of 2010 before signing a two year deal with TNA Wrestling in the USA and debuted against Doug Williams at the Destination X 2011 PPV, it was a night which Haskins will want to review as he wants to shut down Williams in the same vein as he was subdued on that faithful night. Haskins has it all to prove, not to his fans, or his peers, but to himself. He knows Williams dampened his arrival at the USA PPV and he wants to show that his star is burning brighter than ever and Williams is just the scalp he needs. This will be a classic. "Party" Marty Scurll vs "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm These two must have faced each other over a thousand times over their storied careers, but that is what makes this match up even more interesting, the more familiar the opponent the more you need to be on your game. They know each other's moves, counters and recounters, so, the game of human chess is to be played at an optimum level. The attitude and thought process of Scurll is normally a factor in the intimation of his opponents, but that won't be the same for Storm. The sneaky, careless, all for one, stop at nothing to obtain victory demeanour is something that the self styled Wonderkid used to employ before seeing the need to continually antagonise his opponents and the audience only served to hit him in the pocket and the win/loss record. With Scurll losing both of his previous outings at Hove Town Hall, he will be looking to add a victory and will stop at nothing to get it, the Wonderkid knows this and will be fully prepared come October 26th  Announced for Hove Town Hall on October 26th  Lion Kid vs Wild Boar The Lion Kid has missed both previous events in Hove though injury, infact the last event in Hove (February) was held on the same day as he was in the Hospital getting cleared to return to action. So come October 26th, LK has a fresh chance to make an appearance in the Final Hove Town Hall event and he is scheduled to face off against the dangerous challenge of the Wild Boar, who is definitely hungry to impress on this his WS Live debut! Having made his Dragon Gate UK debut earlier in the year, this wild man is turning heads and cracking skulls in his accession in British Professional Wrestling and should he be able to defeat the Lion Kid, he will be considered one of the top junior heavyweight competitors currently plying their trade on the UK circuit. Mad Man Manson vs Lord Gideon GreyLord Gideon Grey, an upper class man if there ever was one. Living in high society and circles of nobility and class. The Lord, as he refers to himself, hates nothing more that mixing with "commoners", unless he is laying an easy beating on them. He requested that he faced off somebody unique, somebody extraordinary, Enter Mad Man Madson, the most unique competitor in the UK today. His brand of crazy fun, general insanity and funny fan favourite attitude more than helps live up to his name of "Mad Man." There was never two more different creatures standing across the ring from each other, can Gideon get over his disgust of creatures like Manson and pull off the victory, or will Manson's antics be too much for him to handle.James Castle vs Dan Head"The Anarchist" James Castle is a Scrappy and nasty brawler by his own admission. A competior with absolute complete disregard for the rules and regulations. He has been on a tear in the Southern area, But he will be put to the test when he faces off against Dan Head a clean cut wrestler who specialises in the mix of tecniqual wrestling and high flying offense, ironically everything that Castle depises between the ropes. This is set to be a true clash of styles, but can Dan Head overcome the chaos that James Castle has sworn / vowed to unleash on every single opponent he steps in the ring with.-----------------------------------------------Date :: Monday October 27thVenue :: Bedford Corn Exchange, St Paul's Square, Bedford, MK30 1SL - MapShow Start :: 7.30pmDoors :: 7pmEst Finish :: 10pmTickets :: £10 Adults, £8 Kids, £32 Family of 4Available :: Box Office (01234) 269519 or Online HereFacebook Page :: Bedford 27th October FB Event PageLion Kid v "The Star Attraction" Mark HaskinsOn our debut event in Bedford, long time rivals Lion Kid and Mark Haskins were set to face off, but in the lead up to the event, Mark Haskins pulled every trick in the book to try and avoid the contest with the New Forest native. With the contract already in place, Haskins took it upon himself to blindside the Lion prior to the match and get it thrown out before it could even begin. Armed with a steel chair in hand, he nailed LK with a vicious shot to the ankle as he made his entrance and the match was called off. When the following show rolled around, Lion Kid despite a late fitness test was still not cleared to Wrestle, and instead of one Mystery Partner he had two. Osprey and Ghent managed to score a victory over Haskins and Scurll but the score was not settled, Lion Kid wants to personally take out his revenge on Haskins and on October 27th he'll get the chance...."Party" Marty Scurll v Will OspreyLast time we were in Bedford, Osprey was the surprise partner for the Lion Kid to take on Mark Haskins and his sidekick Marty Scurll, with LK not cleared to compete, Osprey had a partner in the 6ft 5 Ghent Cannon! Who had faced Scurll the night before in Hove! The speed and high flying of Osprey seemed to give Haskins and Scull all kinds of problems and while they did not come out victorious, after the match was over, Osprey took to the skies to gain a little retribution on the pair. This act alone was enough to send Marty Scurll into a whirlwind backstage, he trashed the locker room and before we had even left Bedford, Scurll demanded a tag match at Broxbourne with Osprey and his regular partner Robinson 3 days later. The request was granted and it didn't go Scurll's way and again another tantrum and Scurll decreed he would not compete at Bedford if he didn't get Osprey one-on-one. Careful what you wish for Scurll....Dan Head vs Andy SimmonzHead coach of the Revolution Pro wrestling academy Andy Simmonz is set the returning Dan Head. Both Head and Simmonz started their wrestling career together at the FWA Academy but have since taken very different paths. While Simmonz continued his wrestling career to become a multiple time British Heavyweight Champion and an appearance alongside Vince McMahon himself on WWE Raw and become one of the sought after talents in Europe.Head has pursued a career in both wrestling and acting before making his return to wrestling in Europe after a 6 week tour of Australia. Now returning to his homeland Head is looking to settle an old rivally with somebody who he not only trained with but whom he looked upto in the early part of his career.Jonny Storm vs Wild BoarFan favourite Jonny Storm, one you the countries most experienced competitors is scheduled to face off against the dangerous challenge of the Wild Boar, who is definitely hungry to impress on this his WS Live debut!
