WWE 2K15 will be released on October 28th for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. You can pre-order the game now from Amazon.com.

Based on what we’re hearing this week, WWE 2K15 will include an all new career mode that will be similar to NBA 2K14, where gamers can create a character (or use an existing Superstar/Diva) and rise up the ranks from rookie to legend. This will involve paying your dues and making a name for yourself in NXT before making your way up to the main roster.

The career mode is expected to include several NXT talents for the first time ever, so we could see playable characters like NXT Champion Adrian Neville, NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte, Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze.

Aside from the all-new career mode, it’s expected that the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode will be returning.

Both Sting and Goldberg are rumored to be featured in the game as legends.

I hope if Universe Mode returns this year that it isn't the same lazy shite we've had to endure these past few years. The Career Mode is sounding good though. I'm sure I'll be buying it once again like I always do, then get bored two weeks later.

If Sting makes it into WWE 2K15, I will do a happy dance (and it will also end a 15-year streak of creating my own/downloading one from Community Creations).

It wouldn't suprise me if the only reason 30 Years of mania is coming back is because they want it on the next Gen consoles.

The 30 Years of WrestleMania mode being in again seems a bit rubbish. Surely no Goldberg as well, he only had one WrestleMania match and that was in last year's game.

I don't like the idea of having a career mode starting in NXT where you can play as The Rock and John Cena, either.

I'm hoping Universe mode is still in as I don't like those career modes where you only get to play the career of one person at a time. Universe is a good idea and with a bit of time and effort they'd have a really good game mode on their hands. Making lots of exhibition matches wouldn't cut it either. Hopefully they've given the mode a massive overhaul and it'll still be in otherwise it'll likely be the first year where I don't buy the new WWE game.

The question is though, for people who bought 14, is another 30 Years Of Wrestlemania mode going to make anyone want to buy 15? They're going to have to do better than that to get me to part with my cash this year. There was a slight bit of hope that something great could have happened with 2K15 - 14 had a shockingly short development time due to the license changing hands and all that sort of stuff, but they will have had a full year to come up with something for this year's edition. There's still plenty of time for them to announce new features and all that sort of stuff, but if they're possibly re-hashing 30 Years Of Mania it doesn't seem to offer much hope for anything too groundbreaking. Bugger.

Id like for the road to WrestleMania to be were you start off in the territories in the early 80s and you work from a low card jobber up to WrestleMania 3 or something. Or a Flair for the Gold mode were you play as Flair through the territories up to his match against Harley Race at Starrcade. Or have it broken down were you play as a certain wrestler from AWA, Mid Atlantic, Stampede, World Class or were ever then work your way to WWE.

The kids would love that. You could include a free cabbage and copy of the Daily Sketch for them to show their mates on the playground.

Exactly, for the kids they need to add a "LOL CENA WINS" mode. Us grown ups are gonna get stuff like 30 Years of Wrestlemania or Attitude Era modes. WWE/2K Games might as well just burn all their money rather than ever consider a "If you go to New York you'll never work here again" mode.

Edit - Plus with all the filters they added on the classic matches in 2K14, imagine kids sitting down and playing matches in Black and White or Sepia tones.

It would be cool if you could do a career mode where your style of wrestling affected your in-game finances. You do a ton of high flying moves and a load of taunting and your merchandise sales rocketed. On the contrary, if you were skipping matches or doing boring ones then your earnings would drop. Make it where you have to really focus on the character development. Design your own t-shirts and masks. Bring injuries and general wear and tear into it. You do loads of gimmick matches and you might make a lot for a short period but after a while you have to retire. Do an online scoreboard. The kids would love to become the next John Cena and make a load of fake money on the game.

That's what's wrong with the games if you ask me, they jeep catering to the casuals who think all wrestling is is the AWA and just want to play as Flair and things.

Personally if I can't play as Lincoln, Gotch, hackenschmidt or a bear in three hour matches than I'm not interested.
