The only american food I really care about that's hard to get are pickles for burgers. Where do you source them over here? The shops I've used have closed down and alternatives have stupid postage costs.

http://www.americans...ishes-122-c.asp I know the postage is high but they do usually update with Pickles

Those are minging, the ones the yanks do are so much nicer, is it the dill in the vinegar that gives it the nice taste?

Sheriff Buford T. Justice - there's not much on that page. http://www.americans...aspx?CatID=3050 have a better selection. I got some in Panzer's deli last time I ventured over that end of London but they had a crap selection too.

I'm guessing you mean bread-and-butter pickles - those are sliced like on a McDonald's burger, and have a higher sugar content. My favorites are Mrs. Fannings, but I dunno if it's feasible to get them shipped. Maybe try these lads?

No, bread and butter ones are too sweet. I think the ones I like are called dill pickles.

Apparently Mrs Elswood Haimisha Cucumbers are the ones I should get, I'm off to Asda to see if they have them.
