Readers of Fighting Spirit Magazine may have noticed that Goldrush entrant VAL KABIOUS has signed for World Wrestling Entertainment. However, 'The Most Valuable Killer' will still definitely be part of the Goldrush rumble, as Kabious has said he wants to win the Goldrush, then win the British Heavyweight Championship at War on the Shore, before going over to America as the undefeated British Heavyweight Champion!

Don't forget to get your tickets to see XWA Goldrush on Saturday February 4 at The Carleton in Morecambe to see a WWE star of the future!

"XWA IS THE BEST IN THE NORTH WEST!"

XWA Wrestling promoter Greg Lambert and the XWA trainees have filmed a defiant response to recent comments on YouTube by Ricky J McKenzie and GPW.

Before you watch, please first see the video by McKenzie filmed at the GPW training school a few weeks ago, which prompted this response.

And now watch the XWA rebuttal, filmed yesterday.

Europe's toughest women are taking over The Carleton in Morecambe this Saturday night at XWA Goldrush. That's because the Pro-Wrestling:EVE Title match is now a three-way! It's champion 'Female Fight Machine' Jenny Sjodin from Sweden defending against 'Lancashire Terrier' and new FutureShock Women's Champion April Davids and NOW added to the match is 'Portugal's Perfect Athlete' SHANNA! The competition just got HOTTER!

Shanna has been added to this match because she holds a victory over the champion achieved in a tag team match at EVE v ICE 2 last October in Nottingham. The beautiful and athletically gifted star from Portugal teamed up with Ice Ribbon's Emi Sakura to defeat the team of ICEx60 Champion Hikari Minami and Pro-Wrestling:EVE Champion Jenny Sjodin.

Shanna was also the first person not from Japan to challenge for the ICEx60 Championship - the premier title of Japan's #1 all female promotion Ice Ribbon.

Interestingly enough, Shanna, Jenny Sjodin and April Davids used to part of a faction called The European Empire. The faction imploded when all members individually decided they wanted to become EVE Champion, a goal Jenny Sjodin achieved last June when she defeated WWE developmental star Britani Knight at XWA War on the Shore at The Carleton.

The trio have teamed before but this will be the first time they have faced each other in a triple threat match.

The match will be one fall and the champion does not have to be pinned in order to lose the championship.

Goldrush is on Saturday, February 4 at The Carleton in Morecambe, starting at 7.30pm (doors 7pm). Tickets are available from the XWA website www.xwawrestling.com right now!
