Motherwell find out who they play in the second qualifying round of the Europa League..

Craig Brown's side will play Breioablik from Kopavogur (Iceland) in the second qualifying round of the tournament.

I don't know what's happening with that BBC Motherwell page, but they've had the Steelmen drawn against eight different teams in ten minutes. They had them drawn against some Andorran mob a few minutes ago.

Has anyone's teams being playing any friendlies or anything lately?

We scudded Brechin City 3-1 on Tuesday, and have another run out tonight against Forfar at Station Park, followed by a game against Ayr Utd on Saturday.

This all comes before we play our 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game against Brei

Morton beat Hamilton 1-0 and got beat by Hibs 1-0.

Our new striker, Stewart "Shite" Kean got a goal in the Hamilton game. We've got Bristol Rovers coming up which should be ... umm ... interesting. Okay, we'll get humped. And the Renfrewshire Cup Final with St Mirren after us and the Scummies win 10-1 in our semi finals.

No friendlies played as yet.

Aside from the usual Peterhead/Brechin/Fraserburgh we have games against Dunfermline, Port Vale, Tamworth, Brighton and Kaiserslauten lined up.

All games are away for some reason though.

Only 2 players signed so far......I'm not looking forward to the new season.

Yeah, all of our games are away as well, but that's to give our brand spanking new pitch time to settle before our big Europa league game this Thursday.

We got a 2-1 win over Forfar last night, and it seemed as though it was a scrappy affair.

I'm off to get my tickets for the Brei

Fiorentina have released a statement saying they have come to an agreement with Celtic for the transfer of Artur Boruc. Will be gutted to see him go but the right thing to do with only a year left on his contract.

Have you still got Mark Brown on your books? Zaluska I assume will be #1 now but I didn't know if you had a backup.

We signed a tall American called Dominic Cervi a while ago. No-ones really seen him so can't comment on his ability. Mark Brown went to Hibs.

It would appear that Motherwell are on course to sell out pretty much all three home stands for tomorrow night's Europa league game.

I haven't seen Fir Park full for quite some time, so the atmosphere should be excellent.

Morton have made a signing which has kicked up a hell of a fuss with the support. Alan Lithgow. This is the reason why ...

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish...86908-20925294/

A FOOTBALLER faces being locked up after admitting a catalogue of indecent acts.

Clyde player Alan Lithgow, who played for Scotland Under-19s, flashed at four women and performed sex acts on himself in the street.

Pervert Lithgow, 20, pleaded guilty to exposing himself in his home town of Airdrie, Lanarkshire, and in Edinburgh on four occasions last year.

The first offence took place on August 27 last year when he exposed himself and performed a sex act in front of a woman in Airdrie's Petersburn Road.

His next offences took place on October 15 when he flashed three different women on the same day.

The first was in Lady Ann Crescent in his home town.

The second took place in Balerno, Edinburgh and the third in Gogar in the city, where he also performed a sex act in front of the victim.

Lithgow will be sentenced nextmonth at Airdrie Sheriff Court.

Clyde signed Lithgow last month after he was released by Hearts in the summer.

Last night, Clyde director John Ruddy said: "Clyde are aware of the current situation and we are currently considering our position.

"We would like to point out that these incidents occurred prior to him joining Clyde Football Club."

Lithgow was released by Hearts after just one first-team appearance - a 4-0 League Cup win over Alloa Athletic in September 2006.

He had joined the SPL side from youth team East Kilbride Burgh in 2004.

The defender played three times for Stirling Albion while on loan at the end of last season.

He trained with Clyde and appeared in reserve team matches before signing a short-termdeal until the end of the year.

He made his debut for the club in a 2-2 draw with St Johnstone last month.

A football insider told the Record: "Lithgow has been trying to cover this up and even Clyde were unaware until now.

"It is hard to believe that someone like Lithgow, who is meant to be a role model, would do something so disgusting."

"It is such a waste of talent and his career is over.

"No football club in their right mind would want him now.

"He is a disgrace to the profession."

Sheriff Wendy Sheehan deferred sentence on Lithgow and called for a full range of background reports.

He was also placed on the sex offenders' register.

The sheriff ordered that the entire proceedings were taped and transcribed for his next appearance because of the serious nature of the offences.

Lithgow denied two other charges, one of public indecency and another of breach of the peace, which were accepted by the Crown.

Lithgow was not available for comment at his home yesterday.

To say that there are some people who are a bit pissed off by this signing would be an understatement.

That was a couple of years ago though. He seems to have been one of Clydes best players in the past two seasons.

I was going to go to the Motherwell Europa League tie but it's all-ticket so I'll likely give it a miss rather than head up early.
