Massive thanks for the Poundland nod
Our local one (Scarborough) had the following in stock:
Best of Smackdown's matches
Rey Mysterio
Undertaker vs Batista
Undertaker
Kane
John Cena vs Edge
Batista
I only had a spare couple of quid in my pocket so picked up the Cena/Edge and Undertaker discs until next time I pop in.
The Undertaker disc has his 'Mania matches versus Kane, Orton, Batista and Edge.
For a quid, that's an absolute bargain!

What's everyone's take on the Kane DVD? It seems to be a permanent fixture in the Silver Vision sale, but for some reason I'm still sat on the fence about it.

Sheffield Poundland on The Moor has the same WWE DVDs - Cena, Cena v Edge, Undertaker, Undertaker v Batista, Raw and Smackdown. Just got the Cena/Edge one myself. The Raw one is brilliant too, which I already had, worth owning at full price let alone a quid!

Saw the Poundland DVDs the other day and they just seem to be those purpose made DVDs to sell in Poundland rather than official releases or anything, so they dont really hold any particular value other than a quid so i wouldnt really get too excited about getting them. Obviously its value at a quid though if all you want to do is buy a DVD and watch wrestling matches youve probably seen before.

are they the old silvervision uk exclusive dvds? think i already have them but gutted that they all gone down to a pound a pop. Basically all 90 minute long dvds with ppv matches? They are all worth getting, as even the Cena set has his best matches before he injured his shoulder in 07.

Possibly, ive not seen them before but they didnt even look like the UK exclusive stuff they did in the past, just generic made to shift cheap DVDs.
Just found some more cheap dvds on play:
action/hardcore tagged classic £5.69
Jeff Hardy 3 disc £6.49
Would anybody recommend the Bret Hart dvd?
I really enjoyed his book but didn't watch wrestling in the 90s properly. It's 5.69 on play.com which seems like a bargain

For £5 quid odd it's definitely worth picking up.

Hi everyone. I wonder if you maybe of some help. I have just ordered WWF Wrestlemaina 2000 (2 disks) from That's Entertainment for £1.99. Seems like a good deal to me for a original WWF DVD. There was not much detail with the description. It said it was a UK import? However were not all silversion DVD's at the start not NTSC?? Will they play ok on UK DVD players etc. I am hoping it is the UK silvervsion copy. Never got anything from them before and all the old school WWF DVD I have seen before at CEX have been silversion copies. Just took the plunge hope it will work out.

Thanks for your reply mate. Never ordered from That's Entertainment before just wanted to ask. Did not get a e-mail conformation from them. All it says is new order in my order history. Are they normally good with sending stuff out? Keep thinking that the DVD does not exist or something as there was no picture or anything.

I've ordered alot of stuff from them and never been disappointed. Some of the best bargains were Elimination Chamber 2011 for £1.99 & it was brand new (just wasn't shrink wrapped), Royal Rumble 1993-1997 boxset for £9.99, again in really good condition (Volume 1 is up there right now for £9.99) and Rebellion 1999 - Insurrextion 2000 Tagged Classic for £2.99.
I usually expect to wait at least 4 working days to receive stuff so its fairly average for delivery. Finally I've always received confirmation emails and a seperate email when anything is posted, however nothing ever comes with an invoice in the package. Hope this helps.

Not a DVD, But I have just bought Mick Foley Hardcore Diaries, Hardback, for £1 in Poundland Norwich. Bargain
Also purchased Hulk Hogans Unreleased Series DVD set for £3.95 on Zavvi
Nabbed the last 'Raw's Most Memorable Matches vol 2' dvd from Poundland, Slough - the rather large top shelf section where I found it was completely empty.

Managed to get all ten of these from the Truro Poundland, which had 2 shelfloads in!
Particularly pleased with vol 1 & 2 of Best of Raw and Smackdown, which had the Jeff Hardy/Undertaker ladder match from 2002, and a Booker T/Benoit match from 2005 (the one where Benoit wipes out on the announce table?). The ladder match in particular I don't think has been released elsewhere, and I think it should have been on one of the 2 ladder match dvds they have put out...
Hardy/Taker is on the second disc of the 1st Ladder Match box set they released. Pretty decent boxset for anyone wondering its just abit difficult too watch a few ladder matches in one sitting. I had to space it out over various nights

Whoops, that'll teach me to not know my dvds properly - also noticed that I think one of the matches included is Benoit/Guerrero vs Rock/Edge - I think this is the one where Benoit debuts on Smackdown and Rcok taps to the crossface - I can see why they might not be promoting that one any more!

WrestleMania 20 is now £7.99 on SilverVision. Even if you leave aside the whole child murder main eventing business, it's one of the best DVD sets WWE's ever done, with an awesome documentary about WM19 (complete with outtakes), a countdown of the best Mania matches, and even a quiz.

They'd have had to stop or skip loads of stuff when they hit the Benoit years anyway. And everything decent from the attitude era has been released on a million other DVDs. Would've been nice to see them get to at least '97 though.

True, I'm not so bothered as I already have most of the years on seasons sets, but for completion sake it would have been nice. I was surprised to see Benoit on that Iron Will DVD actually, and the Nitro one. For all the decent stuff they took out of it, he still made several appearances in the Four Horsemen related stuff.
