They're not doing it anymore (Only for Microsoft staff) but Microsoft were handing out Live bans for people who played Halo 3 early online. Think they've come to accept that alot of people have the game now due to stores breaking the street date.

However, some stores across Europe and America are breaking the release date and selling it early. Argos here in the UK have broken the release date in some stores. Allowing people to order the game via their website to pick up at their local store.

Reading the internet torrent sites Halo 3 has been leaked and patched plus region free, damn that was fast, no only if my 360 was modded.

Sorry i toke so long to reply guys yeah i got my copy of Halo 3 from argos as a mate of mine works there .All i can say is if your a halo fan your gonna luv this (Im not really a fan and find it too be the same as halo 2,same graphics ect just a few new weapons).Microsoft has said they aint banning people for playing it early due too the leak so i tryed it online and there wasn,t a soul playing lol.

Probably people scared to have thier Live account suspended for 100billion years or whatever it was

Tesco has apprently done an Argos and alot of their stores have fucked up and started selling Halo 3 early. Not all of them btw but alot of people have been able to pick the game up from them this evening.

Yeah, if you pre-ordered it from Argos you can collect it from today apparently, acording to Game Central on teletext.

I got an original XBox at Christmas and bought the first 2 Halo games because of all the talk I'd heard about how great they are.

I think I'm missing something though. Been playing Halo 1 and there's just an endless stream of cartoony aliens.

I'm still on the ship so admittedly I've not played it for very long but it doesn't actually make me feel like playing it for very long!

Compared to Half Life 2 or even Far Cry Instincts, Halo just seems average. I'm just glad they only cost £5 each.

The reason why the halo series of games are liked so much is because of the amazing online modes!

The online Feature IS the only strong point about Halo everything else is Average.

Well late last night i played online slayer with a few people but for some reason the servers have gone down again i just tryed too play again .On a side note im not really a big halo fan but i must say im really enjoying the single player game im on the last mission now

I re-got Street Fighter 2 for the, my mates whoop the game on 7 stars and the cpu act like prats I stuggle on that game since the CPu has it out for me so I put it on 0 star, the computer Fight SMEGGINg hard then ever to beat me, 10 Fireballs in a row I could cope with the SNES version Just the 360 is a shame.

Give me Soul Calibur or Tekken any day
