If you Google the error code, (which I don't have offhand) it's pretty clear that it doesn't matter if it's from a disc, stick or streamed from the PC. Like a teenage girl loudly quoting The Boosh on a train, it's well random.

That sucks. Do you have more than one file on a disc or just the one? If it's just the one then burn the file onto the disc as a proper video file and it should read it fine as a DVD.

It's happened both with single files on a disc or a bunch, there's no rhyme or reason to it. I know there's the option of burning straight up DVDs, but I love being able to burn off a quick disc with a bunch of files on, then watch them on the TV.

I'm not overly equiped in the brain department for techy stuff (although I have got better over the years), but it really is simple. And like I said, I was having the exact same problem and I cannot believe it was coinsidence that me wiping all networks and starting from scratch sorted it out.

I just bought a HD TV and am wondering how I am supposed to get to play in HD?
I have plugged in the blue, green and red bits from the 360 lead into the corresponding holes on on the tv which will give me picture but no sound, I have flicked the switch to HDTV also.
Any suggestions?
Cheers.

There should be five leads on your component cable. You've got the Red, Green and Blue in which should give you picture however you should have a red and white one left over and there should be a extra two slots next to them for you to gain sound

Because you haven't plugged the sound in.
The red, green and blue cables carry the red, green and blue signals in the picture. There should be an extra white and an extra red cable dangling around off this lead. Find the corresponding holes on the back of your telly (should be right next to where you've plugged the red, green & blue in).

Far Cry 2 is seriously rocking my world. I was put off buying it at full price because of the open world nature perhaps not fitting in with an FPS and because I'd read some articles complaining about the save point mechanism but I saw it for £15 and figured it had to be worth a go. Glad I did, a really amazing game with a pacing like no other I can remember playing.

Is there another way around this?
EDIT - Just tried plugging them into the sare slots although their not coloured and am now getting sound. Cheers!

Yeah I had it out from lovefilm and loved it. The story was fantastic and it was a really fun game, the map editor is also brilliant. Unfortunatly the online isnt great and when you get past 60% in the game it tends to become glitch mania.

In a "just got money in the bank so I have to spend some of it" moment I bought Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts for £10. I didn't really enjoy the demo but seeing as it was made by Rare and i'd not really gave it my full attention I thought for £10 it had to be worth it. I started and I wasn't that keen, I still don't get how to use the cars i've made unless I have the option to in one of the Jiggie missions. I'm about 4 or 5 missions in though and i'm starting to warm to it. Certainly not in the same league as the last two Banjo games but for a tenner it's entertaining.

My flatmate was at home yesterday trying to watch Heores and rang me with the same problem... He is a dribbling retard though, so maybe it was just him.
I was busy working though, so I didn't help him with his problem. I don't feel bad though; someone has to pay for his carers, otherwise he'd just be sat around in his own faeces when I got home.
I never used to have to be logged in but now I do. I'm not sure if it's anything to do with the dashboard update but it's bloody annoying.
I know I never had to be signed in before because my Xbox wasn't even connected to the internet so why it has to be now is really very annoying.
