Yeah you can change the camera to 'player' mode and it follows you like Sky's player cam used to. I was doing this the other day with Rooney, you shouldn't do it on an easy difficulty setting though cos it means your team mates are shit.

Ok folks i have a problem. My 360 has scratched the shit out of my copy of Pro Ev 6.

There is no way this could be an accident or damage from it being out of the box or console as i always look after my discs, plus more alarmingly it's almost a perfect circle the scratch has formed all the way around the cirumference of the disc about half a centimetre from the outside edge of the disc.

Anyone else had this bother ?

You've moved your console most likely. It happend to me. If you even slightly jog the console it will scratch the disc.

This happened to my RS:Vegas whenever I had my console standing up. It's not scratching my new copy now that its lying down . Would this be a problem or is yours already lying on its side?

Was wondering if anyone can help me or had a similar problem as me.

Basically my headset appears to be faulty.

I can't hear or talk to people during games.

I've been onto the xbox website and followed their trouble shoot guide, and according to that it should be working.

Firstly, I've double checked that it's not on mute, on both the "personal settings section" and on the headset itself.

Secondly, it's not a child account so it's set to "hear everyone"

And thridly, if I go to create message and "add voice" i can record and hear my voice.

However, it just appears that in Pro Evo and Gears of war (the only games i have) i can no longer speak or hear people. I used to be able to, but oddly can't anymore.

Anyone know of a possible fix to this?

I get this quite often at the moment also. It's just a dodgy connection. Happens with both headsets I have.I'm going to blow the dust out of the socket with an air duster that should do the trick.

If you have the personal settings set to 'through both' can you here them slightly through the tv?

OK, so I've gone and got myself one of those HD Ready LCD TV's. Can you get a HDMI lead for the 360? I've seen the component leads (RGB) but I'm not sure if that's HD quality.

What have you guys got, or what can you suggest?

I've also just changed the settings to hear through both, however, cant hear a thing from their side.

The only time i appear to be able to hear anything is when i do a test, and record a voice message and play it back. Grr tis frustrating, i've googled it also, and i've read on some forum, that it may have something to do with a icp setting or summat? but then they never went into depth about it, and no one followed up the question on the forum and the last post for it was in december 2006 grr

1.Maybe. If you used a year membership card from the shop then you may have to top up. If you bought online through your 360 then it may already have been topped up? I ask because I was stung for this. I had brought a 1 month to see if I liked online play through the 360. 3 months later I was still online. I checked my account and they were topping up monthly without asking. If they have your credit/debit card details from buying points for arcade/picture packs then this might of happenned.

2.Yes. If you click on your gamer tag once you've signed in then go to account management and then memberships, you can then upgrade from there.

Send it back without the hard drive. Then you get either a brand new one or when your console gets returned you still have all your saves!

Problem is, often the three light problem can be caused by the hard drive itself, so I think they actually insist on being returned alongside the system.
You can transfer them all to a PC using some funky third party memory card and right now, I think thats the only way of doing it, short of buying a stack of official memory cards and keeping everything on them.

My friend sent his away without the hard drive and he got another 360 + a new hard drive, so he sold me his second, which I sold on as a profit

Righty, I need some help.

I've managed to convince the Missus to let me move the PC downstairs. Reason being, I want to connect my 360 to the PC so that I can play media centre/get onto Xbox Live. Problem is I only have 1 port on my router for the network cable, ditto on the PC.

I'm looking into buying a router with more ports, so my first question is where is the best place to get one? I'm not sure on routers and what's best to get (I don't want wireless), which ones give a better or worse signal blah, blah, blah. Oh and I don't want my pants pulled down over the price.

Second question. In order for me to play media centre/Xbox Live through the 360, does the network cable have to be connected to the PC or does it work the same through the router?

I had leant this from my friend, and was on R.A.A.M on Insane difficulty and just could not complete it. It got to the point where it was no longer fun, and i gave it back to my friend never wanting to play it ever again.

I managed to get to the R.A.A.M. on my own too but in the end I just needed help from some guy on xbox live, the game isnt that cracked up, most games im playing thats out for the 360 are way too short

If you like Tony Hawk's games, then get Project 8. That is a long assed game. I haven't played it in a while now, but i got to a ranking of 3...which is really good i guess, but obviously not as good as 1

Just bought an Xbox360 a short while ago and im addicted to Call of Duty 3,anyone else a fan? iv played a couple of times online but a few idiots spoil the team games,such as when i was about to score a point with the flag in capture the flag, my own team mate killed me and actually ran the flag back to the opposition teams area! TBH any online first person shooter you'lll either get abused terribly or killed in revenge if you make a team kill, it's all part of the banter ! Agreed though it's hard to get a good game on the go without the idiots getting involved.

As for skating games Id avoid Project 8, Tony Hawks games have just gotten worse from number 2 onwards wait for SKATE to come out it brings back REAL skating and avoids all crap provided in Tony Hawks games

Have you actually played Project 8? The skating in it is a lot more realistic than it was in the other games, and this time your stats actually do effect how you skate, i.e. how high you can ollie; how your balance is during a grind etc.

project 8 is indeed breathtaking compared to the last few efforts

easily the best hawk game to date and ive played and completed them all

I believe you can play as Jason Lee, but that's once you have become number one in the top 8...i guess.

But he guides you through the game pretty much, and there are some funny cutscenes involving the man himself.
