In side news, I got my wireless headset this morning.

I got mine imported from www.movietyme.com (the same place I got my HD-DVDs from). It was £160 (£30 more than UK RRP) but I couldnt wait a few more weeks (and stock allocation to the UK for the 360 drive is very low)..

The only requirement you need (apart from the latest XBL dash update) is a figure of eight 3amp power lead.

It's an excellent bit of kit, slightly let down by the noise of the 360. You have to crank up the sound to drown out the console.

I noticed a new bit of kit from the xbox hacking world to make it a peice of piss to install new firmware:

saints row is fun, from killing hookers, cops, gangs, shop owners, strippers and people dressed as hotdogs and robbing stores and safes.

Anything else i can do in this game?

Ordered my 360 core system with Gears of War and Pro evo 6 from Gamestation for £220 yesterday. Well chuffed considering im getting all the extentions for Christmas. Only problem is that they said they were having problems dilivering meaning i have to wait .

Well iv just got my 360 had it modded and iv just got myself,Dead rising,gears of war,dead of alive 4 (its fucking solid) and F.E.A.R,Just started playing F.E.A.R first, all i can say is its an awesome game getting a 360 was the best thing iv done console wise .Its worth the wait Romford so don,t u worry.

Oh i know it'll be worth the wait, but im very impatient and want it now cos i know how awsome it will be!

Ok chaps, I need a little help. Everyone's raving about Gears Of War. Im pretty shit when it comes to FPS' using controllers, but I just about managed ok with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Would you recommend GOW for me on that basis?

I was a total bad ass at medal of honor aa on the pc, this shall do the trick for FPS games.

I'm considering having mine modded (once I find someone who can do it for me). But other than playing copied games, what else does the mod allow you to do?

Void your warranty, and shell out lots of money for a new one if it breaks?

If it's the same as the regular X-box was, then you can stick loads of Emulators on there and play all your favourite classic games through it..

Also handy for storing lots of films and tv shows and whatnot to watch.

Okay - here's a question guys and girls. Lets say, for instance, you got hold of a 360, but you weren't a huge gamer - would you recommend it? I know it sounds like a strange question, but I'm thinking more for multimedia, streaming, modding etc.

Alternatively, do I sell it unopened and throw some money at a the new car or something?

What a bastard! My 360 was delivered on Friday but my old man was out and missed the delivery by 8 minutes! i've got to wait till Monday now, only a day away but i should be playing Gears of War/Pro evo 6 RIGHT NOW!

I didnt realise how much stuff you can run off a 360!


i had a old usb hub knocking about, so i connected it to my 360 so i can have 5 usb things working at once


i didnt think it would work but it did!


So i connected my external Hard drive, 360 webcam, my 360 wired controller and my creative zen to my 360 and they all run off it!

Is your hub powered? I want to get a hub to plug my wireless adapter and vision camera in but didn't know if I'd need a powered hub or not.

Easily one of the best games I've ever played, but I've always been into my tactical shooters

Ive aquired £500 from my parents and am contemplating Woolworths current offer which expires on the 10th.
This includes X Box 360 premium system, Tiger Woods 07 and Fifa 07 for £299.

I'm very tempted but am worried as I'm thinking I wont get that much out of it. (Granted the price is wicked but I fear I won't play it that much. Although I'm a big TW fan and liking Fifa 07 also.)

My Main concern is that I will prob need to buy a new car in the next 4/5 months and maybe I should Keep the money for this. Obviously I'll be taking out a loan for the car.

I have till the 10th to decide.

Please help.

Well as limited on cash at the moment I had to by pass both Rainbow Six & Gears of War. I settled for Call of Duty 3, and I have to say so far so good. Visually it's awesome, but I've only done the first part of the story so I don't know if it's something I'm going to be addicted to.

My "to get" list at the moment is:

Tiger Woods 07
Gears of War
Rainbow Six


Hopefully come Xmas day I'll have enough funds to buy at least 2 off the list.

I've been hammering Pro Evo 6 for the past week, I love how you pass the ball to Henry and it's atleast 10 times as hard to lose the ball to the opposition, so realistic gameplay.

Love it, I have Gears of war but haven't played it yet.

Since I bought mine I'e bene playing Tiger Woods 07 non stop. So addictive. I'm currently doing the Tiger challenge. My CAG is awesome.

Fifa 07 I'm finding is very hard, even in normal play. Any tips please?!

I've just aqauired Saints Row, I like the game but the fiddly camera/view on the R stick is killing me. Anyone else have oroblems with this?

All in all I love my 360.

Been playing FIFA 07 and Saints Row mostly recently. Fuck anybody that says this years FIFA sucks.

recently got Rainbow 6 Vegas and Splinter Cell Double Agent! both are awesome

I've got to be brutally honest here, Superman Returns absolutely sucks the big one.

The others I haven't played.

Gears is fantastic, looks brilliant and really really tense. The story is a bit meh though, something like reign of fire but with generic monster things instead of dragons. Its loads of fun playing co-operatively like you could in Halo.

Just in case anyone is not aware there is a new update up on the xbox site to play old xbox games on ur 360, Scarface among others been added
Plus dont forget if u aint got xbox live u can burn onto cd and remove film from zip file then stick on disc and happy xmas.

Gears of war is amazing really enjoying it and u also cant just go round blasting it encourages u to take cover and work as a team with ur team.

Played a demo of "Crackdown" today, and its really really good! Its a cross between spiderman and the GTA series, and it works well

I'm coming to the end of Call of Duty 3 (And for the record Rainbow Six was MUCH better IMO) - and I've got Star Trek Legacy, RAW .vs. Smackdown, and Viva Pinata waiting in the wings.

One more help needed. I can't seem to get my microphone to hear people. It's an official one that came with the camera thingy. pleaseeeeee help!

Does anyone else have problems having matches for their created Championships on SD v.s Raw 07? I'm not online yet,but when i try too have a match for any created title,it gets to the loading screen before the entrances, the WWE logo goes by, and then the screen just stays black. Of course,the fucker is that it deletes it off your harddrive before you have the match, so i'm forever having to remake the belts.

Anyone else encountered this?

I love Tiger '07 too - except for the fact that it won't let me play it online anymore.... Legacy is a tad disappointing - but I'm still cracking on with it now and again - and I haven't had any problems with Raw v Smackdown.

In other news - Game online now has HD DVD players in again, and mine's expected by the end of the week! Woohoo!

So, whats the latest news with the 360, specifically prices, now that the PS3 is soon coming out? Has anything been announced? I read somewhere that there is a new version of the 360 coming out? Makes less noise, apparently. Whats the latest?
