Looking at an old thread a while back somebody was discussing the “Clinton List.” Anyways somebody motioned the 2 boy who got killed in his state and posted a YouTube link to a video of a TV show. The show was 15-20 years old. Hosted by an old gent who I know as since passed. And looked at unsolved mysteries anybody knows the name of this American TV show?

Because of your wording, I can't tell if this is a joke request and I'm being whoosed, but the American TV show that looked at unsolved mysteries was... Unsolved Mysteries: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unsolved_Mysteries

What was that show about a group of Friends who lived across the hall from one another?
CleetusVanDamme

Tommy!
There was this film about a bus that had to speed around the city, keeping its speed over 50 and if its speed drop it would explode. I think it was called "The bus that couldn't slow down"
Gladstone Small
This reminds me of that film that was released last year called Fighting. They didn't even fucking try with that, did they?

What about the film about the theme park full of dinosuars?

Its called Billy and the Cloneasuarus.

Does anybody know who the "World famous British actor" who'd had sex with a prostitute was? I've not heard anything about it but my Mum had seen it on the Daily Mail website earlier and is adamant it's Colin Firth. Apparently it was released on a Twitter account earlier today and he's confessed to it but the press can't actually name them.

(I'm not talking about the recent Giggs story, by the the way.)

Cheers.

No, I thought it was some cunt out of Downton Abbey.

Ewen McGregor, I'd heard.

What was the film, based on a Michael Crichton novel, about a super theme park, where the attractions (modern recreations of things from a past time) went after the guests and started killing them?
Keith Houchen
Westworld? Yul Bryner was the badass cowboy.

Yeah there was some weird Daily Mail article somebody linked on the Imogen Thomas thread last week about him. It finished with something odd like "He is a renowned family man, much like Ryan Giggs" in case any fucker hadn't already put 2 and 2 together by reading it.

iTunes-related question. I have my iPod open in iTunes right, and I can play all the music that's on it through the program. However I can't take the music and put it into a folder. I want to do that or merge it with my iTunes. How do I do this? I'm afraid to press "sync" lest it erase the iPod completely.
Frankie Crisp
This used to work for me, but Apple may have changed things up in the last few years so apologies if it doesn't do the trick:

If you've got your iPod plugged in to your PC/laptop, then go to your explorer and navigate to it. If you ensure that all hidden folders are shown (folder and search options > view > show hidden files etc.), you'll be able to see a folder which contains a load of subfolders (usually named 1-49). You can copy all of those files to your desktop, My Music, or wherever, to back them up.

Just add them to your iTunes and you'll have the songs merged with the existing library.
Mr. Seven
That's the weird thing. Unlike any other usb connected device, it's not showing up in my computer independent of iTunes.

The Miz
Can someone educate me on the history of Brian Wilson off of The Beach Boys please. Poor fella looked lost on Jooles Holland just now.

Fucking Apple. As daft as it sounds, have you tried just copying every song on your iPod through the iTunes screen and then pasting them in to a new explorer folder? The track names may all go to shit, but when you re-import them they'll tidy themselves up.
Mr. Seven
When you say "through the iTunes screen" can you elaborate? I can't seem to drag a single file from the iTunes to say, the desktop or even into any sections of iTunes itself. It's like they're read-only files or something. Fucking Apple. sad.gif
Frankie Crisp
When you're in iTunes viewing the playlist showing all the songs on your iPod, just select them all and copy them. Go to a new explorer folder and right click > paste (for some reason, Ctrl +V didn't work). I've just tried it in the latest iTunes version and it seemed to work okay.

EDIT: Just tried it with my old iPod and it didn't work. Christ knows what those fuckers have done with their updates.

He was on Jooles Holland!?!? Shit I missed it. Brian Wilson is one of the greats, Brian's wiki. Musical genius who has got himself through a whole lot of crap and is somehow still going. Thoroughly in love with him, he's my weird crush.

Probably still would to.
denzel_maggiore
I got problems with my Itunes....where my iphone connected to the old itunes on my old PC I don't want to sync with the current itunes incase I lose all my songs.

Is there a away around this? Don't want to chance it as something similar happened many years ago.

Any help would be great or a pointer towards any programmes that can take songs from my phone onto my mac, I got things like apps as well that I could do without losing.
Mr. Seven
Still no joy. When I go to Edit and hit select all it doesn't give me the option to copy.
Kookoocachu
I love apple, but fuck do I HATE iTunes sad.gif I feel your pain, all of you. Thinking about it, I don't actually know anyone who likes iTunes?

I saw him on The One Show last night - he was playing his piano and promoting his new album, but the woman presenter was so blatantly ignoring his answers so she could ask the next question on her list, so he just gave up on it. Short sharp yes and no answers, and he couldn't even be drawn into plugging his tour. It was great. It will still be on the iPlayer I'd guess.
Frankie Crisp
Sorry Sev; edited my last post whilst you were probably in the midst of trying it. It worked on my iPhone but not my iPod. It used to be a doddle to swipe music from them, too.

Plenty more of him on the extended version of the show tonight, 11:50pm mate, BBC2. He looked very out of it, but his band are superb.

Cheers for the heads up. From this I have just had to explain to a friend who Brian Wilson is. I am now reconsidering our friendship.

It is certainly a very deep family. Just watched the California Girls performance, one of my favourite songs. Couldn't help but think how frail he looks lately sad.gif Don't get me wrong all things considering he's had a very good innings, but we never want our favourite musicians to die do we? sad.gif
The Miz
Nope, indeed not. Got to respect the guy for still performing, and not just that, leading his band!

Tonight my daughter told me that she had absolutely no clue who either James Brown or Aretha Franklin were. Yet she knows all about every member of One Direction. The future is bleak.

Almost all of my favourites are already dead. Frank Zappa, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Randy Rhoads, Gary Moore, Stuart Adamson, etc... I fear for Joe Satriani.

Further to my balls up by posting this in the wrong questions thread in error, can anyone recommend me a decent torrent site for older cult/pulp movies? Looking for any old giallo movies in particular. Cheers

One for the animated Gif guys/gals...

I'm after an animated gif of a quick scene from "Tom & Jerry". The episode is called "The little runaway" i think, and i'm after a gif on when Jerry makes a dead fish tap dance.

Sounds really stupid, but it's really tickled me, and though it'd funny to have as a gif!

Can anybody assist?

What's a decent free GIF animator these days? I've not animated anything of an interlaced nature for ages.
