I think the exact same about Scallywagga. I didnt mind some of the first series, primarily because of Lena Kaur and Jessica Hall. However, neither returned for series two, and of the two episodes I have seen I have only mustered a slight snigger once. Just completely unfunny sketches, and I will be astounded if it gets a third series.

The lead actor shoved a piece of cheese in the chief commissioners face. Wouldn't have worked with Tony Hayers at the BBC that's for sure.

Master seems to be bandied about a bit as the male equivalent. I think both terms are derived from the latin '
dominus= master'
That would be correct following the Latin. But I'm not sure they really exist.

They are far rarer than their female counterparts but there are a few around. Never really heard the term 'dominator' ever used, most tend to go by master. The gender seperation is seen in their shortened or slang names, with females using Domme and males using Dom

Based on various scenes I used to be more into, male Doms are generally referred to just as 'Doms'. Usually short for 'Dominant' rather than 'Dominator'.
Usually, in most circles I was in, you were a Dominant or a submissive. I didn't hear many people bandy around the term 'Dominatrix'.

I have a computer based question...
A thing called Browser Choice has appeared on my desktop (through an update I believe). It's asking me to choose a browser. I just want to check that this is safe and legitimate? (it looks it) and if so which browser would you choose?

I think it's something the monopolies commission made Microsoft do because Internet Explorer was dominating too much. It came up on mine and I changed to Google Chrome, it was a bag of wank so I just changed straight back to IE

Have UKFF Birthday threads been banned? Fair enough, it's someone's birthday on here every day and I realise someone who registered last week and has about ten posts doesn't get one, but the longtime and regular posters usually recieve a 'Happy Birthday!' thread. It's been awhile since I seen one. For example, in the last week or so it's been Freaky and Dopper's birthday. I would've thought they'd have gotten one.

Maybe it's a symptom of social networking getting bigger. A lot of people have their 'UKFF Buddies' on Facebook or Twitter, so might do their birthday wishing there.

I just checked the wrestling observer archive, to see the headlines from that week. In that week, Jeff Hardy was arrested for drugs posession and the Hulkamania promotion debuted.
So, the combination of the two, I suspect.
What's the most you'd pay for a Cadbury's Twirl (or similarly sized/comparable chocolate bar/sweets etc.)? I'm talking in a shop, cafe or other relatively convenient location. I'm not thinking petrol station, service station, train or cinema where the prices are mental for various reasons.
Actually, more importantly, what would you expect to pay? Like, if there's no price listed and you take it to the counter, what would you reckon?

Between 60-70p is probably the most I'd pay and what I expect it to be these days

Last time I brought a Double Decker in a shop it was over 60p .. So Iam guessing 65-80p?
TripleA

I think they're about 50-60p here. When I was a kid they were like 39p
Yeah, I didn't want to sway the responses so I didn't give any info, but I just saw someone get charged 70p for a Twirl on my lunch break and thought it was ridiculously pricey.
I don't really buy sweets and chocolate bars unless there's some occasional gathering or film or whatever, and on those occasions it'll be big bags or multipacks and the like. When I did just buy them individually for myself with my pocket money it was years back when it was roughly 30p for everything. I know it doesn't really need a comment because, well, inflation exists and "THINGS GET MORE EXPENSIVE!!!" is hardly newsworthy, but I really am at the point where I just wouldn't pay that. Makes me feel quite old.
Can you still sell recycled goods? Say, you've got a green bin full of paper in your office, could you take all that somewhere and they'd give you some money? And if so, where?
Jesus Christ. I'll buy you a Twirl man, let's not get drastic.
I got served. Good arrows JLM.

My favourite is one that automatically adds the next page of whatever your reading to the bottom of the page, so you can technically read the whole "Post a picture of yourself" thread without clicking you mouse (though i'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing!)

Dearest UKFF,
Someone I know has gotten rather sick of Facebook and has decided to cancel their account. But, it has been suggested that he go out in style. After carefully reading Facebook's guidelines, terms of membership and rules, the leading suggestion is that he takes a picture of himself having a shit and use it as his profile picture. But I'm sure he's willing to listen to any ideas.
Suggestions?

What does the word "profiles" mean in the context of kites? A friend of mine is translating stuff and can't make sense of: "The kite consists of two layers of fabric with a set of profiles in between." Neither can I. What's a simpler paraphrasing of the "set of profiles in between" bit?
