Magnus certainly has come on in leaps and bounds since he first joined TNA and it wouldn't surprise me if WWE make him an offer at some point.

I always thought it was ridiculous when people would label him abysmal and that he shouldnt have a job in TNA, when he was only 21. He had a bucket load of personality and great facial expressions and a good look. I'd rather have all that and shit ring skills at a young age than be a good wrestler and have none of the above. He's improved greatly and his charisma and look have all blended together. He's now a very good asset to TNA. I hope they start using him properly once him and Joe dies off. I think he's a cracking talent.

HA! Whoever came up with the Gravedigger must be complete goons. It was 1978 anymore. WWF was national. By 1991 it wasn't alright for each territory to have a Haystacks or a Bruiser or a Skull Murphy. The people in the crowd must have been thinking "what the fuck is this!"
I do like the washing up gloves though. I wore a Little Dracular hat, my brothers job interview jacket, my grey socks pulled up and a pair of red washing up gloves for my Undertaker halloween costume when I was 9. I like the Gravedigger's DIY attitude.

That's epic! I wonder if "Real American" was added in by the uploader or if it's in the actual show though.
That's a triple threat for Seth then, after getting Flair for The Cleveland Show and Rock for Family Guy. Bret did The Simpsons, South Park had Cena and Edge (but not actually them, sadly), and the South Park movie had a gay guy on a boat that looked the fucking spit of Perry Saturn. Any other popular animation/wrestling crossovers anybody can think of?

I've always loved a bit of Goldie. Dustin's stuttering gimmick is one of the funniest things WWE have ever done in my opinion. My dad used to watch Raw with me during that time too and always had a giggle. It was so fucking silly you had to laugh.

Funniest clip Ive never been able to find was Al Snow and Mankind being interviewed on Raw with Head and Socko.
I remember it something like: Mankind calls Al stupid. Snow say 'Whoa whoa whoa, you're the one talking to a sock!', and then Al turns to Head and goes 'I know. He looks ridiculous!'.
Funny stuff.

Just watching Wrestlemania 4 again. Was there a pre Mania show where all the bracketed matches for the tournament were confirmed/announced? Anyone have a link? Thanks
JNLister
Feb 5 2012, 1:09
Not a specific show, but they were announced in the "Update" and "Special Report" sections of Superstars of Wrestling/Wrestling Challenge. They changed the brackets a couple of weeks in without any explanation. Supposedly it's because they changed their minds about who'd win -- the original bracket would have been DiBiase against Savage in the semis and thus most likely DiBiase beating Hogan in the final and then dropping it back to him after Hogan returned from filming No Holds Barred.

Ah, interesting stuff. Thanks JNL, I'll have a dig around for these shows. That would have been a very different outcome and no Mega Powers storyline

Feb 5 2012, 1:49
If No Holds Barred would have been the stonking hit we all expected it was going to be, Vince might have fucked this wrestling game off and became a big time Hollywood player and Hogan would have been the next Arnie. The Mega Powers could go and whistle. Imagine a movie poster with this tagline:
Produced by McMahon, Directed by Spielberg, Starring Hogan. With his leading lady, Sharon Stone
I'd buy it.

I love that guy. He had two great gimmicks, or three if you like me didn't mind the fake Kane stuff, and got a bit of a raw deal. Anyone who heard him on AOW will know that he genuinely loves wrestling, and I hope he doesn't get forgotten about because people think he's older than he really is. He's been about travelling all over it seems, to places like Nigeria (lol), India and now Australia, so hopefully he can return to WWE in the future with something even better under his sleeve. Also Punk likes him so maybe he can bat for him.
