Angle is easily the most comically gifted person on the whole roster. There's a clip of him freestyling with Cena back in 2003 that had me LOLing for ages.

Im hoping to come across one of the vids with Austin and Angle in it.

One of Angle's "darker" moments. Angle VS Puder:

Does anyone have the link to a music tribute video which has 30 seconds of comedy gold attatched at the end, consisting of approximately two dozen Ric Flair flops synchronised to 'I get knocked down, but I get up again...' music.gif

I have searched for a while and no luck so far.

I finally understand the fuss about TNA. That was the first big time TNA match I've seen, and it blows away around 95% of what WWE offers. You-tube is going to be my best friend for TNA stuff.

Anyone know who did the song on that andy simmons video, its overly adictively cheesy

The good old days when the fans actaully cared about the wrestlers and WWE! Listen to the ovation for Austin (and Rock), that is the kind of crowd reaction Cena wishes he was getting!

Some people. He rips his MASK off...Causing the crowd to GROAN in horror...But then backs off in TERROR and shock...As Liger has his face PAINTED...And SPRAYS him with his own mist! It's the most wonderfully unexpected and over the top thing ever.

Needs more head drops, obviously.

Although im semi familiar with both of those guys, Im not that big on Puro. I really enjoyed the match, but the whole mask thing was really nothing special. To tell you the truth I didnt really notice any crowd reaction at all, as Japanese crowds tend to be very quiet anyway.

Well I watched that match, and you could hear a pin drop. And its often the same with a lot of japanese matches I've watched over the years. But Im not a avid follower so you obviously know more than me.

We've clearly watched different matches then, because the entire crowd have a 'holy shit' reaction.

And if you really think that a wrestler having their masked ripped off isn't a big deal you obviously don't get the whole meaning of masks in wrestling. It's ALWAYS a big deal for a wrestler to get de-masked. They built (and indeed, build) whole feuds off that very concept. Lyger was demasked in the ring, but he outpsyched Muta by having the face paint and the mist in store.

Absolutely awesome moment, if you get the psychology behind it, and just a brilliantly executed pro wrestling event if you don't. Muta sells it brilliantly.

And is it just me, or is Lyger built like a frickin' tank? I've seen the guy with his shirt off, and he's ripped! I always figured he'd be kinda skinny... it's the resemblance to the red power ranger that does it.

Concerning the crowd reaction thing, go to Youtube, do a search for any KENTA match, and watch it. You will hear a distinct dearth of silence. Japanese crowds often START quiet, but they build to a fever pitch, and for me they give a far more genuine response than the average WWE crowd who just seem to cheer everything near-mindlessly.

He wasn't huge when he started out, but after injuries forced him to change his style he really bulked up. You wouldn't mess with him, that Shotei has got to hurt.

Speaking of Liger, here's the intro to the anime that inspired his character. Coolness.

That Muta/Lyger match is class. I saw that a while back. Off comes the mask, but his face is painted and he mists him. If i recall correctly aswell isn't this the one where Lyger starts hitting him stiffly with non-folding chairs?

It's a video knocking Cena, some of it's alright, but the real humour is in his bad English (in all fairness English is probably his 2nd language) including classic phrases such as "BUT SOMETHING WAS HAPPEN!!!"

The basic concept was good, but the guy that made it needs to get a life really!
