Hadn't seen this posted anywhere but this is Hayabusa's attempted moonsault that unfortunatly ended his career. Truly a shame as he was such a gifted wrestler. Pretty hard to watch in many ways.
Big_Will
WOW! that was the first time i've seen that Hayabusa vid that was shocking

Does anyone have a link to the ECW Mass Transit footage?

Thanks
ukedge87
I've seen that Hayabusa video before, and I've always thought it wasn't as bad as Lesnar's eating canvas at WM19. Surprised it ended his career.

I think the fact that Ron found that so funny was what condemned him to that horrendous "I masturbate.." promo on Sunday night heat.

It's miles better than the match in January. This is the match of the year without doubt. So much so i'm giving it it's own thread.

If it was possible to sue someone for false advertising and misrepresentation then this lad wouldn't stand a chance.
The purpose of this thread is for cool and interesting stuff on youtube, his match thing was neither cool or interesting. I am sure he thought it was cool and interesting alright but for joe punter, i.e me, it was a waste of time. At the very least he could have written a short description of what exactly it was so we, the viewer, could make an informed decision as to whether or not to view his clip. I had an idea it was something involving him doing something wrestling related.
So i suppose i better post a cool wrestling you tube find.

Holy Shit! How the hell did KENTA(?) carry on that match after the springboard moonsault to the outside??? He lands throat first on the rail FFS! To still have a fucking awesome match after that is incredible.
raven.flow
It's Marufuji that lands throat first. KENTA gets some nasty looking knees to the face as well from what I remember.

That was the first Japanese match I have watched all the way through and I must say it was very good. Please excuse my ignorance but maybe some of you puroresu fans could answer my questions?
Why does the ref count in English?
What do they have to count up to before someone is counted out (of the ring)?
If such concepts exist in puroresu, who was the heel and who was the face? I would guess Marufuji was the heel? Or is it meant to be taken more as a genuine contest between athletes?

Alas I do not get the Wrestling Channel on my TV but I would definitely like to see more matches like this so some links or PMs for more of the same would be really appreciated from anyone. Cheers

Cheers, like the fella above i'm new to the japanese stuff and wasn't sure who was who, my japanese ain't exactly great. What an incredible match tho, was well and truely blown away by it, haven't been that into a match for years. Will definately be tracking down some more.

Why the hell not?

Japanese wrestling uses a 20 count to avoid count-outs (kinda not aloud) plus they need that time to get back in after some insain outside dives

The Face/Heel aspect is often played down so to portray the importance of the athletic performance but they do have them.

Any other questions for the class?

You're right. Personally, I wish people would stop posting those daft old comedy things on here. I think they're a waste of time.

Oh wait, it's only ME that thinks that. Carry on.
