What bookies? And how did you choose your selections?
William Hills, and i chose them for diffrent reasons
Simon - I went to Southwell Races a few Saturdays back and it absoloutley walked over a race there with a big 1st place price of about £34,000, so it seemed logical to go for it
Little Big Horse - I always look out for when Sue Smith has runners because she tends to do well, LBH stood out because it was a huge price for a horse of its ability, its last 3 races before Saturday were not so good but the conditions didnt suit, Saturday suited it much better and it duly delivered
Nil Desperandum - Really didn't fancy the favourite at such a short price, ND was the pick of the rest of the field for me so i went for it
Cusoon - I remembered seeing it win before sometime and it looked impressive, and it'd won its last 2 races with Baker on board but had come second in its last 2 races without him, so with a Jockey that does well on board the horse which is in good form it seemed a good shout to win again

Well, fair play if you copped £13,000. For a fiver stake that's unreal. Wherever you placed it, their bonus for the year is fucked

How do you guys pick your horses?
I generally just watch for the horses that have won at the Course and Distance. Scrub the rest of them. I generally follow the All-Weather too, as I've had a lot of winners from there.
I've been following the same tips as Templegate (The Sun) on that Online Betting Guide site today. He's pretty shit ain't he? Probably around 12 races, as of now, one winner that I can see.

I think the more you watch the all-weather, the more you see certain jockeys ruling others. Neil Callan, for instance, has the knack of riding whichever track he chooses brilliantly. And he never gives up. Liam Jones, a claimer, is my favourite jockey. He rides beautifully, his timing is spot on. More importantly, he can get a horse with no chance into the money. In my opinion, with the claim as well, he's the best all-weather jockey riding. I rang Hills (who I work for) for a price on him ever being champion flat jockey - they refused! They is running scared ~
i agree with you on callan. i've backed a number of wins back of the callan/ryan combination, mainly at double figure odds.
