Bury (7/4) tonight at home to Sheffield Wednesday who are dreadful away from home, as much as it pains me to say it. Only lost twice at home in their last thirteen i think it is. One of which was on Saturday, however.

Also fancy Reading (7/4) away to Portsmouth again and I'll put on MK Dons (6/4) at Yeovil for the treble which pays back just under 18/1

Single on BATE (4/5) against Stum Graz in the Champions League qualifier and that'll do me for today.
ajpiles

Screw you Reading.

Good win for West Ham. Stuck some money on Lanus to beat Independiente at half time too. A very very late winner just made me some more cash. Now I'm goin on River Plate to win. Not great odds, but a win will see a few extra quid in my pocket hopefully

Gotta admit, I bet on some right sh*t, but £665 banked in the last 24 hours ain't too bad off an original £100. Think I'm gonna cool it off now though otherwise I'll end up losing it all
Stylin_and_Profilin
Southampton
Preston
Gillingham
Wimbledon
Brechin

Five homes with Victor Chandler, guaranteed refund on stake if only one team lets you down. Maximum of £25 stake (down from £50 last season angry.gif )

Single on Bristol Rovers away to Macclesfield
El Espanacas
I have gone for an away treble of Rochdale, Aldershot and Leyton Orient. five quid stake for 150 smackers back. My mate has been compiling a form guide and he has had a couple of winners in already this season so hopefully this will come in as well. I have also gone for Sunderland, Liverpool, Villa, Everton and Swansea on five four folds.
WU LYF 4 LYF
Won £25 on the Champions League in the week, gone for a couple of optimistic trebles today. £5 on Sunderland, Bayern and Rangers paying out £20 or thereabouts, and £5 on Gillingham, Preston and Southampton paying out nearer to £30. None of the cards looked predictable enough to justify a really big sized bet.

Last night got 5 out of 6 of my Euro 2012 Qualifers right:

Scotland, Holland, Denmark, Bosnia, Estonia

got a Push result in the Russia/Ireland game as it ended in a draw thumbs-up.gif
Magnum Milano
Had a couple of quid on Ashley Young as first goal scorer last night, so nice to have a winning bet for a change.
Stylin_and_Profilin
Had a nice little team handicap come in last night

Holland -1 (4/6)
Croatia -1 (10/11)
Spain -3 (4/9)
Serbia -1 (1/3)

And Norway burst me for another £75-ish on a both teams to score five team line sad.gif
WU LYF 4 LYF
Decent night for me as well, £5 on a Denmark/Holland double paid out £13. Wasn't confident enough about any of the others to have a longer accumulator or put more money down, since most ofd the certs like Sweden were no value at 1-50.
pryko
I backed France last night away to Romania. I always forget that France aren't the team they used to be, hence the half decent odds you get on them to win :-(
WU LYF 4 LYF
Yeah, I never really bet on France anymore. Italy neither, they scraped through with a late 1-0 but I still don't see them as a sound bet. The only really 'certainties' in the qualifying have been Spain, Germany and Holland, and the poor odds usually reflect that, which is why I was pleasantly surprised to get 8-13 on Holland last night, although I was a little perturbed when I saw the weakened team sheet.
Philo_Vance
I'm traditionally one of those that only does betting at friendly poker nights or on Grand National day, but I opened a William Hill online account last year with £20 for a bit of fun and did ok between online poker and football bets for a few months before giving up after a while. Just made a deposit to the account again for a bit of fun, strictly a quid or two at a time on footie and occasionally tennis and whatnot. Just started myself off with a triple for tonight on Roddick, Leyton Orient and Santos. Comes in at Just shy of 12-1 if it comes off.
Stylin_and_Profilin
Tsonga +5.5 games at 10/11 on the handicap market looks a cracking bet for his match with Federer later
WU LYF 4 LYF
Got bored and bet early for the weekend, £20 on Arsenal/Leicester at £53 returns, and £5 on Bury/Gillingham/Charlton/West Ham that brings in nearly £50 as well.
CurtainTwitcher
I've had a decent fortnight, banking about £100 from some small bets and it's kind of continued today.

Firstly had fiver on:

West Ham
Cardiff
Blackpool
Arsenal
Man City

And got £50 back.

Also had a tenner on:

Arsenal
Man City
Fulham
Blackpool
West Ham
Cardiff
Charlton
Huddersfield
Celtic

All of today's have come in, just need Fulham to beat my team tomorrow for another £415.
Bugger club loyalty (and I want Steve Kean out of my club) - come on Fulham!
The Whole Show
Had £3 on Ashely Young first scorer the other night.

Also had £3 on each of these today.
Arsenal
Man City
Chelsea
Celtic
West Ham
Cardiff
Huddersfield
Charlton
Man utd

And
Arsenal
Chelsea
Celtic
Spurs
Man Utd
Man City
Blackpool
Southampton
Charlton

So just hoping Man Utd secure the win, just as I type Rooney has added a second. thumbs-up.gif

I had a cracking day today. I backed the winner in the Ayr Gold Cup after a tip from another forum I frequent. I had £5 e/w at odds of 20/1.

I also had a fivefold come in backing Crawley, Sheff Utd, Peterborough, Hartlepool and Villa/Newcastle drawing. £10 stake gave a £330 return. And with Boro going top of the table overall its been a very good day.

Anyone got a decent fiveway for the weekend? Minimal outlay with a good chance of a return?

No such thing i am afraid matey rolleyes.gif

A very quick flick over the fixtures and i'd line up:

Newcastle v Wigan
Hull v Watford
Sheffield Wed v Colchester
Fleetwood Town v Bath City
Edinburgh City v Irvine Meadow

That'll give you back about 21/1 price.

Or you could rattle bigger stake on 'stick ons' like Liverpool / Dortmund / Marseille / Madrid / Barcelona for example which pays back around 11/5.
JFFC
Newcastle to bt Wigan has got to be a must on any coupon this weekend for sure!

Hope you got involved mate, £200+ up tonight

Early looks suggest taking 2nd in the SPL Motherwell @ 11/8 away to Inverness who are sitting bottom. Motherwell have 4 away wins from 6, while Inverness only have 1 home win from 6, don't expect many goals however, keep this off your GoalRush.

Taking a treble of Man U @ 4/5, Motherwell @ 11/8 and Derby @ 5/4 coming up to 9.6/1, for £30.

Had a nuts weekend. 3 accas up to the tune of £500 and waiting on the San Diego Chargers for a cheeky £30 more. Let's keep this run going.
GIB
Ehhh right, what's the acc tonight, Jambo? laugh.gif
Stylin_and_Profilin
Dortmund/Chelsea/Millwall treble at around 5/2

Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham and Southampton. - 7/1

Chargers were a total mess though. Sigh.

Ajax, Real and Inter tonight @ 5s with a cheeky £30.
Jambo
Once more...BOOM! Benfica let me down for £450 on my whacky CL acca though, CUNTS!
Jambo
The Jambo needs a flat deposit, fundraising on Ladbrokes continues today with Roddick/Wawrinka double priced at 9/10. Will take a look at the weekends football after tonight's games.

Got my cashout change of £3.06 on Spurs (4/1, even half stength has value), Rennes and PAOK treble priced at 25/1.
GIB
Dodgy one tonight - tenner on Celtic at 9/5, Birmingham at 11/10, AZ Alkmaar at 21/20 and Maccabi Haifa at 2/1, returning just over £350 I think..
Stylin_and_Profilin
I never bet on the Europa anymore unless the odd single ear marked. Far too many dodgy results and teams not giving a toss playing weakened sides.

Theirs lots of value in the EL if you put in the research time IMO. Rennes were a massive 2/1 for crying out loud! Paok at evs was nuts too, cashed in on them.

4 homes this weekend:

I only got 12/1, which is a serious reduction on what they quoted you. I'm certainly not calling you a bullshitter, but I'm maybe questioning over whether you were offered the correct odds?

Just checked it there, yup, typo, 12/1. Sorry lads. Still see that as massive value.

Doing a funtime Scottish 1st Division acca with ridic odds today too:

Morton, Falkirk, Hamilton and 2 draws - 100/1. I stuck £13 on it, purely as it was the change in my account. The SFD is the toughest league to predict, however I've got a great record over the last few years with it as I have to watch it every week.
Jambo
Sitting -£10 for the day. Liverpool have taken out 2 accas for my today. Newcastle saved me this morning when I took them at 2/5 when 1-0 up.

Piling HUGE in to City @ 1/3 to get me out the hole.
Inspector Paul Solo
Have Leicester, Southampton, Blackpool, Villa, Newcastle and Wolves down on a £2 punt with £100 return, really hope Leicester and Wolves don't let me down tomorrow now.
Jambo
My mate / Hockey source is tipping a comfortable Belfast win tonight @ 13/20. Mixing this with the ManC win. just shy of £350 return on a £150 hit.
GIB
£3 on Man Utd, Shrewsbury, Ross County, Southampton, Charlton and Blackpool returned £125. Quite annoyed as I would've usually stuck at least a tenner on any accumulator but it was my change!
JFFC
Had Man Utd, Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Blackpool, Arsenal all win and Liverpool let me down for £350. They were the proverbial Big Bad Wolf but Swansea's keeper had an absolute belter of a game.
Jambo
Well, conkers have been cracked today, first large losing day in aaaaages. The Laddies fun continues tomorrow though.
pryko
Backed Villa, Man U and Chelsea yesterday, but then put the majority of the winnings on a Brad Pickett win in the UFC

Saturday was a cock tease with all the big hitters in the Premiership on 3pm Saturday kickoffs which is quite rare in itself. Liverpool, Crawley or a combination of both have done every single person bar one that i've spoke to who put a line on the footie at the weekend.

Stenny at home to Stirling was the bet of the week at 5/6 but i couldn't get down to a shop on Saturday as work was so busy and the deposit threshold on my online account was near the weekly limit so i ended up just doing a modest goals galore and managed five out six with the Exeter/Carlisle game letting me down.

Yep, that goes for me too. You're spot on about all the big teams playing at 3pm being too tempting.

Between Friday and Saturday i backed South Korea to beat UAE, Scotland to beat Cyprus, Italy to beat Poland and Wales to beat Norway. Just gutted I didn't do it as an accumulator now, but i did manage to make a few quid thumbs-up.gif
